I called to make an appointment for an infusion on a weekday. I was feeling under the weather and…read morewanted some vitamins to perk me up. Came at my scheduled time and then they make me aware that the IV infusions need to be ordered.... The front desk person never made me aware of that, then that would have been a "consultation appointment!" - First red flag. Luckily they had "one more Meyer's cocktail" which is what I wanted. Second red flag - they used a butterfly needle to start and infuse my IV. This is a major NO NO (see picture below). Any healthcare professional knows that butterflies are used to draw blood not administer anything, since a needle should not be left in place. This is not best practice. The nurse started infusing the fluids with no vitamins inside until I asked her if she had prepared the infusion and she said no - she still had to add it? She calls the ARNP Danay and they discuss amongst each other that the one Meyer's cocktail they had was ... expired! Thank God they checked, but now I had an unnecessary IV in my arm (with a needle nonetheless not IV catheter) The girl from the front desk was nice enough to offer me a complimentary B12 shot. Overall grateful they checked the expiration date but this was a terrible experience.

I called for an appointment for my 60 minute massage and was pleasantly surprised that they accepted my Groupon on a Saturday. Upon arrival, I realized that this center offered things like Botox and other kinds of beauty and body treatments. Although it had a very spa-like smell, it didn't feel like one. There were products everywhere and the lighting was very cold and more medical than cozy. I went to use the restroom before my appointment began but both bathrooms were down for maintenance...what a bad one. The room where I had my massage was a little more lit up than I like for my massage, with that same cold feeling from the reception area. I know that this center is for overall wellness but I'd recommend catering each room to the service. Maybe dim the lighting for massage appointments. My masseuse was Maria. She was extremely kind and very personable. She got to know me and asked questions about my problem areas which led to conversations about our families. It was very nice to talk to her and it was a very comforting feeling; like speaking to someone you've known for years. You could tell that she was very skilled and knew just how to get the knots out which I very much needed and appreciated. When she was finished, she politely stepped out of the room and I noticed the time and saw that she shaved about 10 minutes off which was disappointing because I would've loved another 10 minutes of her incredible massage. I had no difficulties checking out; they quickly applied my Groupon deal, explained their services and handed me a brochure to look over if I was interested. Everyone was very kind and easy to work with. Overall, I was underwhelmed. Nothing stood out, but nothing was necessarily wrong either. My massage, although cut short, was very good and my masseuse was very skilled. I'm still on the fence on whether to come back, but for now I'm keeping the brochure in my purse as the prices were very doable!

I have been going there weekly for a little over a month now (my coupon calls for 10 sessions) and all the original employees have quit. They are also not shy to tell you all about their reason for quitting and the problematic owner of this spa chain. Very unprofessional. I receive the cavitation treatment and even thought the actual procedure is fine (which is why I will go until my treatment is finished), the hygiene is below all standards. The massage table and pillow were only covered with a towel, no sanitary paper and the pillow had make-up stains from the previous, who knows how many, clients! Since I go with a friend, I know for a fact that the towels themselves were not exchanged between clients YUCK. It doesn't stop there! The machines themselves come into contact with a clients skin through the transmission gel, and I saw gel still stuck on there from whomever was treated before me. After my session was over I watched as the technician simply wiped them down with a used towel she had picked up off the floor, no sanitizer! DOUBLE YUCK. But it still doesn't stop there! When my treatment was done, the technician picked up another used towel from the pile on the floor and wiped my legs with it. EWW...I wonder how many people were treated before me and wiped down with the same towel!! This place needs a health inspection ASAP! The technician does not leave the room for you to get undressed and dressed again, and you are not covered up for privacy, which should be standard procedures. Oh and twice already another employee simply walked in and started chatting with the technician who was working on me. I was never asked for permission or covered up for privacy. The reception area is extremely noisy so relaxation is not possible at this SPA.
