When my sister told me that she hired someone to walk her dog,even though she was home, to maintain her sanity, I laughed. Now, I am not laughing because I am house and dog-sitting for her. Ryan is a red-and-white checkered tube in the frothing sea of puppy insanity. He faithfully shows up 5 days a week here at 1 and 5 pm and walks Gracie, and by walk I mean he RUNS her so she is good and worked out by the time she comes back. Plus, she's a fan. You only have to murmur, "Ryan's here" and she's up and at 'em. He cages, re-cages her(as needed), and waters her according to the specifications via trainer. Not gonna be home? No prob. Leave him the key and he waters and cleans up if there's an "oopsie". Rates are EXTREMELY reasonable for the care, he's only $15 per walk/$25 for two a day. If you need a responsible/affable/awesome dog-walker you don't need to look any further! He's definitely this good, I may just consider hiring him to be my "Holly"

The good doctor was so caring that I wouldn't consider consulting with anyone else when I adopted two Bangal cats a year ago. Recently I visited twice. On both occasions, Dr. Lorenzo and his staff were kind, helpful and very well informed, offering advice and strategies for managing and troubleshooting our "challenges." I came in just a peruse because I was curious so I didn't have anything particular I needed to buy. The person behind the counter was friendly initially, and the woman who is stalking shelves. The back also offered to help me and I told them I was just looking around. I did notice they had a nice selection of rocks for aquariums, I debated buying some lava rock for a butter wart carnivorous plant terrarium. But I didn't need it currently and didn't have time to do the project just took mental note. As far as their lizards go, they had some pretty cool morphs of what I think were bearded dragons. If I had more time, money, and space. I would totally consider getting one. They were a very cool orange coloration. They also had a bunch of fish tanks on the wall with various style fish. Although I didn't take note of anything of interest to me. When I was leaving I said goodbye to the man behind the counter cuz I just wanted to peek in to see if there was anything I would need in the future of his response to me. Was next time bring a lot of money. While I think he was trying to joke around, I thought it was an awkward thing to say to a potential customer and an awkward thing in general to say to someone. Definitely knocked a star off my review because it just made for an awkward experience that didn't need to happen. If you live locally I would definitely check this place out, I'm a way bigger fan of supporting small Mom and Pop stores over big box stores. Just a warning, the owner who I'm assuming was behind the counter slightly awkward but seem nice generally.
