All my friends said they are honest and fix small things for hundreds not thousands of dollars. AND THEY WERE RIGHT!! This is a tale of two Kas Vegas a/c companies. The good: Airbender. The bad: read to the end to…read morefind out. Here's what happened: Another hvac company was out to repair my disconnect box. After saying it wasn't covered by my Homeowner's Insurance because of a missing part, they quoted me a repair price of $700. I said,"goodbye." After the repair person left, I found the missing part on the ground, near the disconnect box. It was a cover the size of your cell phone that goes between the outside box cover and the a/c wires in the box. I jammed the part back into place, and called the Homeowner's Insurance Company to share the matter with them. After sending them photos, they said they would cover any necessary repairs, and that the HVAC company would come back out. Guess what? The HVAC company never called, dodged my calls, not interested in finishing the job. After a month,Airbender was assigned the job by the homeowner's insurance company and came out. Repair person was like, "no-there's absolutely nothing wrong w your disconnect box. They were just trying to scam you." Sooooo.... 5 stars to Airbender for their honesty and prompt appearance to resolve the matter. Beware of Pro-Price HVAC! Do not deal with them!!!!!

Our smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector near the home office began chirping. We did everything we…read moreknew to do, but the chirping would stop for a day and start back up again. We found out through the web that it was at end-of-life and needed to be replaced. The problem was that the detector was wired in and neither my husband nor me are electricians. I found Jackson Electric and decided to call them. Mr. Steven Jackson was very professional and let me know that he would contact me the next day to schedule an appointment. Around lunchtime the next day, I got a call from Michael, who said they would be coming in 30 minutes. I had a training to do, but made adjustments so he could come. Three guys with masks arrived to find out what needed to be done. When I showed them what was going on and showed them that I had the replacement, they did the work in about 5 minutes. The workers were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the price was very reasonable and I was pleased the chirping had stopped. Unfortunately, about 3 days later, our other smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector began chirping. I called Jackson Electric again because of the great service we received the first time. He told me that he would contact me to schedule an appointment. The next day, Michael called and said, "We are in your area - can we come now?" Unfortunately, I was unavailable. Michael said, "No problem. Please call Mr. Jackson to reschedule." I tried several times to get in touch with Mr. Jackson to reschedule with no luck. I left a voicemail with times that I was available to help with his scheduling. I left text messages to try and reschedule. My husband called him a few times to try and reschedule. We did not receive a response. My husband ended up calling someone else. I will say that our first experience with Jackson Electric was great. Not sure what happened the second time, though.
