Very nice staff, but my last experience was horrible. Waited over an over to be called in when my appt. Was at 11:00, did not get called in till 12:00. Had my wisdom tooth pulled, took 30 minutes longer then the dentist ripped it out fast since my medical ride came. The problem is after I asked for medication they stated the doctor don't give out medication and ti take Tylenol. Due ti mt health i cannot take antiflamammatories, so they said Tylenol. Tylenol did nothing and the swelling did not go down, wven though I iced my cheek 7 times a day. Had to go on an emergency medical call due to the fact I could not open my mouth much at all. Doctor gave me steroids to take to help the swelling go down. Got it 2 days later due ti the storm. Today is Friday a week later snd the swelling is finally gone. Spent 5 days not being able to eat anything, barely even yogurt. When I called yo explain what eas going on tk get help, they stated I should set up with my doctor medication I need if I can't take ibuprofen. No one told me prior thats what you usually take. So if I knew I would never have gotten it pulled or reached out to my doctor to get medicine. Still sore 7 days later though not suoer bad. Also got 2 wisdom tooth iut yeara ago and I got medication to take for the first few days. Very disappointed, they knew my medication list and should make sure they clarify that you take ibuprofen after, since not every one like me can do that. Will never get a tooth pulled here again. Very shady billing practices. I went in for a semi-annual preventative check up. Dr. Dental has my insurance info and confirmed they take my insurance provider (BCBS). Instead of charging my insurance for the visit they (without notifying me or contacting me) sent the bill for the visit to collections. If you go to Dr Dental for a preventative check up and have BCBS beware they may not charge the visit to your insurance and send the bill to collections without warning. read more

I've had braces on for over two years now and was told my insurance would pay for the entire thing in the beginning. Now I don't have dental insurance because I'm dealing with some things and I supposedly owe two grand and I can't get my braces taken off or tightened unless the amount is paid off. I'm 22 years old living on my own with no family and I don't have that money. Now every single time I call them to try and make an appointment when I have the money and reschedule, nobody answers the phone, but somehow they're still there in the morning. They make appointments as early as 7 AM but for some reason they don't open until 10 AM and don't answer the phones. I have Covid and they can't even answer the phone for me to cancel my appointment and reschedule it. I'm beyond pissed with this place. Between the lies and the phones it's ridiculous. I called yesterday to try to reschedule and they answer for once in a blue friggen moon and said please hold.... I was on hold until the place closed and didn't get to speak to anyone. Now fast forward morning time and the same thing except no answer at all when I know they are there watching the damn phone ring. Don't make appointments before a place opens if you can't even answer the damn phones when someone needs you. Don't get me wrong the place definitely takes good care of you but only when you actually have the money. Us "poor people" can't get treated the same. There's one lady there that actually has a heart and cares for the situation I'm going through and of course she's not even there. This lady needs a raise and deserves a better job that actually cares about not only employees but the clientele as well. 1) Very transactional. 2) Dentist will speak to you for Less that 5 minutes and will take less than 7 minutes to clean your teeth. 3) Hygienist rushed so much. (Smile, How are you?) - took 3 minutes to see my teeth 4) Bombarded with text with emails and text on how service was 5) Orthodontist will take less than 5 mins to check you when changing your brackets. 6) Overall not what it use to be (run RUN Run) !!!! read more

After going to Aspen Dental first time to get a cleaning, they took a whole extra lot of sets of x-rays and was told my teeth is in bad shape and I needed a deep cleaning which will cost around 1500 which I thought was cheap. Then I went to this Dr Dental first time after being bombarded with appointment reminders and after I told them I have masshealth, they said my teeth is in excellent shape and then did little touch up and they called it cleaning. Beware of this dentist at all costs. He did a horrific job extracting two of my teeth. He has left me permanently numb in my lower jaw. While I was in his waiting room another person was screaming at the receptionist that something had gone horribly wrong with the procedure he had performed on her son. I just wanted to give a shout out to the Dr dental team in Billerica for all of their help making it possible for my child to have all of their dental cleanings done the same day the braces were removed and making the impossible possible for having to have temporary crowns be put on the same day... Ryan at the front desk is amazing at scheduling and listening to concerns. Victor was very understanding and gentle when putting the crowns on and all of the dentists there are understanding and knowledgeable... The only thing I wish I could have changed was them offering orthodontists in the office three years ago.. read more

I went here and saw the dentist and had a great visit for a routine cleaning. I was told by the dentist about some issue I had with some teeth, the dentist and hygienist were very understanding with my anxiety and needles I have two that need extracted and he referred me out to get them done. My wife needed to choose a dentist she felt comfortable with. She didn't pick the one that advertises on tv because both my daughter and I had bad experiences there. She went to her first appointment at Dr Dental came home with an estimate and went ahead with the work . Just came back from her third visit and she couldn't be happier. It's all in the estimate, no hidden charges, no up charge like the ( no insurance necessary) people. She is comfortable and can't say enough about how friendly the staff is. read more

I have been going to this office since I started with Doctor Jim in Haverhill at this point I am done I have been a patient of his for over 10 years the staff is uncaring and unprofessional the office has been open now for almost 20 minutes no one picks up the phone it goes straight to voicemail I know besides myself several other patients who I happen to be friends with who I referred to this office and to this dentist have tried numerous times to get appointment no one picks up the phone no one calls back at this point as paying customers with our own private Payne insurance and our own cast we will go out where we're sick and tired of dealing with the uneducated people that you hire. read more

I was very excited when I found this dentist because my first 2 visits were awesome and the dentist seemed like he knew what he was doing. I had 2 crowns done. Within 15 months I was already having issues with the work I had done at this location. I went back for a visit because my front tooth shifted entirely, and they said that it was a weird occurrence but I will be ok. I was not okay. The crown kept shifting and as I tried to request appointments I NEVER heard back from anyone and sought of help from another dental office. Save yourself time, money, and effort and go to a REAL dentist who cares for the work they do. $1300+ down the drain because of these greedy greedy people read more

I went for a consult and was forced into having braces put on same day. They did not wait to file through my insurance and kept telling me it had to be done that day. I explained I could not afford the out of pocket cost of $4,800 and had no car to get him to his appointments. That I needed to focus on getting a car and would be back in a month for the braces after my insurance approved it. I could not leave with my child and was told to just be more optimistic about things. The dentist told me he would not medically hurt him if he didn't get braces that day and to wait. The staff did not listen to me at all. Even after I was crying on the phone saying I could not afford this and I never wanted this, I was told it is a privilege to have children. No one cares that my child will have to miss a full day of school for a 30 minute appointment because it is a 2 hour bus ride there and back. It will cost me $1,200 to have them removed, which I can't afford. A loan was taken out for me through them and I can't pay back the $5,000 plus interest that I now owe for something no one waited to see if insurance would cover. So, if you go here just know you can take your child and leave and you don't have to be forced into debt over something that could have waited. I am not trapped with these people for 2 years and have panic attacks every time they call and don't sleep the night before an appointment and cry the whole ride there and back trying to figure out how to pay for my son's braces and still be able to afford my monthly bills. read more

I have been there, and the dentist seemed ok. I was scheduled to have an appointment recently and cancelled. The first called me and didn't leave me a message. Then from some random Danvers number they texted me about my upcoming appointment, and only indicated that it was them at the end. Normally, when you get appointment reminders, they are a 6-digit number and identify who they are right away, not them. I called and cancelled the appointment and the girl asked me what time your appointment is, and I told her, she replies I can't find you, and then follows with your all set. Later the day of the appointment which I cancelled; from the same Danvers number they ask me to take a minute to write a review about my experience. All of this seems just too weird and fishy.
