I dropped off three coats for dry cleaning and small repair. I explained to the gentleman the areas that needed mending. He just nodded his head. I figured he understood me? I came back to pick them up and they had been dry cleaned but no repair. I asked him about it and he just shook his head no. That they don't do that. According to other reviews and the businesses own description they absolutely DO do alterations and repair. I was actually really annoyed. I had to wait a week for dry cleaning only. What a lovely shop. We brought our wedding clothes in to be cleaned (wedding dress and a three-piece suit). The owners were friendly and professional. My wedding gown had been covered in salt water and sand and had stains. When I picked it up it looked better than when I bought it. The owners happily congratulated me and chatted while they made sure the dress was carefully wrapped up (I opted not to have it preserved, but I saw some of the preserved ones and they looked great). The price was extremely reasonable and much less than I had been quoted other places. The cherry on top was the owner offering to carry my dress to the car. Went in to get my dress hemmed and was told in so many words that they couldn't do it. There was concern that the back was longer than the front? I tried to be as clear as possible saying it didn't have to be perfect... only I didn't want to be tripping all over myself when wearing the dress. Above and beyond service and always done before my scheduled pick up time. We've had lots of alterations and quick fixes and never have they said they couldn't do something for us but if they had I would trust they were doing their job!
