I got my wedding dress altered here. First meeting goes fine. Second meeting: "remind me what we were going to do for y ou?" Should have been a red flag, but I put a downpayment ent down and felt invested. Third meeting, the dress was left intentionally too long so we could confirm length of dress because she didn't want to take too much off. Then it was done. I come and the hem of dress came out incredibly jagged. It looked like a high schooler made their own prom dress. Her response to the unevenness was "well, I can't ADD length!" I was encouraged to buy a new pair of wedding shoes, but this time, flats, which I didn't envision as part of my look. I left sick to my stomach. I took the dress to another shop which worked super hard at stretching every bit of length out of the dress til it didn't look like an utter disaster. The whole thing was shocking and traumatizing and SUPER close to my wedding date even though I initiated work about 2+ months in advance. I reached out and told them I was disappointed and they said they would reimburse me $75 "any time". I requested it to be mailed. Never heard back. So if they're still in business, I do not recommend working with them on such a major undertaking. I was cheap and you get what you pay for. read more

I've used Clean Earth Cleaners multiple times. The most extraordinary was when I took a jacket that I I thought I'd torn the zipper. It was a long zipper being a jacket. I paid for the repair for a new zipper, and went on my merry . When I returned, I was informed that the zipper was fine. They repaid me my money and were very gracious. My dress wasn't ready when I was told it would be, and then the seamstress tried to blame it on me by telling me that getting a bridesmaid dress altered (my dress wasn't a bridesmaid dress) can take 2-3 weeks. I'd dropped my dress off a week ago and no one told me that they needed longer than a week. They also wanted to charge me $40 for a hem and $7.50 to add a snap to the neckline. This seems very expensive to me but I don't get things altered often so I'm not sure what's common now. I asked if I could get some kind of a discount since my dress wasn't ready when they told me it would be and they took $2 off. That's it. So I found this place on Yelp and they were SO so nice answering my questions. The cost was right and the result was great. Then came time to clean my wedding dress, as I bought a sample dress that came with the inherent stains that needed a clean... I was worried about who to trust but brought it here. The price was reasonable and my dress looked brand new clean off the rack. My fiance had also dropped off 10 items to be pressed/cleaned and all were ready on time. Not a happy customer. The work she did was very poor. She re-did some of her mistakes (3 buttons werent aligned, some of the stitching popped out or wasnt even) because I pointed them out, but the re-work still didnt look so great. I was charged $50 for the hem sleeves. I brought in a high priced "modern" suit jacket from EXPRESS and she basically blamed it on the material and style. Im not even sure if i will wear it now as the hem she did on the sleeves pops out so much, its uneven, and it doesnt look smooth. Check pictures. I had high hopes with the good reviews but I'm very disappointed. I do not recommend getting your suit altered here. read more

Do not patron this establishment. TLDR: They ruined my brand new EMT uniform pants (worn twice) by creating a several inch long tear in the pants, making them unusable. They refused to reimburse me for the item they destroyed. When I dropped the pants and shirts off to be cleaned they inspected the pants and found no tears. I had already inspected them myself to make sure I got all my gear and equipment out of the many pockets. I left with a pick up time of 4 pm the next day. However, the next morning I received a call that they had found a tear when cleaning my clothes and would not clean the torn pair of pants. I explained that there had been no tear when I dropped off the pants and the woman told me the manager/owner would call me. I received no call. I had to buy a new pair or uniform pants and was able to get the last one in stock through my company's uniform partner shop. The pants cost $61.50. I then drove to the dry cleaner's at 1 pm to discuss the situation. The man behind the counter called his boss and she apparently told him to take off the price of cleaning the ruined pants (which they never cleaned) as a resolution for tearing my pants. I explained that that was unacceptable and that I needed to be reimbursed for the clothing. The employee explained that his boss was out of the country and would be so for 2 months, and that she was the only one who could cut me check (which she never agreed to do). He said the best he could do was send a picture of the tear and the invoice for the replacement pants to his boss and see what she would decide. He said that the boss might call me back at some point and when I asked why he couldn't just call her back (since he had just done so in front of me), he said that he could keep "bothering" his boss with this and then quickly changed gears and said he'd be happy to talk to her again later about finding a resolution. They then charged me for the three shirts and two pants they washed and didn't ruin. The employee had the nerve to say he "understood that my job was stressful" as a reason for why I was upset. I am not holding my breath while waiting for a response from the owner about getting reimbursed for my damaged clothing. read more

I ordered my prom dress off of lulus and I came to Amy with a lot of alteration requests. I needed to remove the train, make the straps tighter (which had bead work on it), make the waist smaller, and asked if she could add a slit in the leg. Obviously this is a lot to ask, especially with only a week in advance and during a busy time. She did it all with no problem and can't say enough how great of job she did. I took 5 jackets/coats made of various materials (wool, silk, suede, polyester, leather trim) to Clean Earth for dry cleaning and they did an amazing job! One of the wool coats had a lot of dust/some pilling, but came out looking new and smooth. The suede jacket didn't have any shrinkage after cleaning. Customer service was excellent and friendly. They actually recommended that I hand wash a sixth jacket instead of dry cleaning, so I appreciate their advice and honesty. Prices also seemed reasonable. Plan ahead for cleaning leather and suede as these take extra time (about 2 weeks in my case). Overall, Clean Earth showed expertise in dry cleaning various materials and leaving them in great condition. I would definitely come back again! read more

Was searching for a cleaner alternative to regular dry cleaning when I found this place. I swung by one day after chatting with someone in yelp messages to determine the cost of cleaning a three-piece suit next day. After chatting with the gal who had opened, it was miscommunicated that they DIDN'T have the time to do the suit for the next day. It was a bummer because I really try to look for smaller, earth-conscious businesses and they don't come around often! I had driven quite a way to give them my service but hey, I'm a millennial and we don't take those kinds of things personally. So I got back in my car and started to back up to drive away and the gal comes RUNNING back out shouting, "WAIT, WE CAN HELP!!!" She had called someone else, who I assumed either came in early or stayed late in order to offer that next day option for me. If someone comes running after you, GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I searched for a place to clean my wedding dress and I highly recommend Clean Earth Cleaners for wedding dress cleaning and preservation! I sent two wedding dresses here to be cleaned and am very satisfied with the results. One of the dressed had purple stains which could be the grass or plants because it was worn outdoor. This company is the best in town!! I few months ago, my husband and I wanted to get post-wedding pictures in the gorge and safe to say my dress got absolutely RUINED! I brought it here the following day in tears and they did work on it... I didn't take any pre/clean pictures but you can imagine that my entire train was brown and spotted with the dirt and dust from that area... now, I was able to wear it again for our vow renewal!! They not only made my dress spotless, but they also took in the sides and made it a bit more form fitting and re-attached my belt on the front.
