Pretty good laundromat compared to all the L.A., Inland Empire, and West L.A. laundromats I visited during my 24 years living in Southern California. Those places often defined "disrepair", "uncredited for" and "filthy." Sometimes those SoCali laundromats were straight up gross! This place in Aloha, Oregon which is Beaverton-west, was very clean, albeit during the pre-closing hours between 9pm-10:15pm when I visited. Four workers doing cleanup when I was there. Clean bathrooms even though it was fairly crowded considering the time. My only complaint? The main cleaning dude was in my washer detregent area spraying stuff BEFORE I could take my clothes out. What is that all about? Anyway, good place if my wife and I need to forego our home washer for some reason. Oh, and I dried my clothes at home. read more

Yesterday I went to Aloha Laundromat because my washing machine was giving me issues. I loaded my soaking wet,soapy clothes into a Hefty bag and drove down from my apartment. The front was very loud because there was a guy jackhammering the concrete. There were tons of crying babies, but that tracks. The washer and dryer was less than $4 for one load and not too bad. Good it is not clean . Sometime sometime who works is the sometime not. Some dryer good others don't get as hot enough. Some washers good others do not ring out the water very well and so then you'll have to pay $10 in quarters to dry your a load of clothing that the machine did not wring well the water. You can pull a bath towel out of a washer dripping with water.. they don't give you extra quarters unless your really bitc* and demand. You just spent over $20 on your laundry and they balk and moan over giving you two quarters extra to help you dry the clothes their washers didn't ring the water out of. This is my go-to stop after our annual week long camping trip. I bring our sleeping bags, towels, and blankets and am able to get everything washed and dried quickly and easily to pack away. The gentleman who runs this laundromat is always onsite, helping people and cleaning up. He has helped me several times pick the best machine for my wash job and is always helping patrons get dryers lined up when their wash cycle is done. It's always sparkling clean, all working, and well maintained machines, and he is always there to help as needed. I made the mistake of trying his competitor in the same mall after the last trip and wished I had stuck with Aloha laundromat. The competitors' place was messy, filled with broken machines, and I had a unit break with a large load locked inside. You take your chances when you put your money in the machine half the time they don't work. And then you're waiting not only heavy wasted your money you've wasted your time because there's nobody here to give you your money back so you can wash your stuff in another machine. This has happened repeatedly and there's nobody on duty so you've lost your money. And if that's all the money you have too bad then you have to figure out how to get your clothes out of the machine go get some more money come back and do it again and it really is messed up!! They are very slow to respond. I'm looking for a new laundromat where the machines work!!! Remember if you come here you're taking your chances the machine may or may not be putting water in. And the dryers take lots of extra quarters because the machines don't ring the water out very well. read more

Very clean laundromat with very good machines. Price is about average for laundry, $4 for large machines and $3 for smaller machines. But because of their nice machines and the cleanliness, this place is packed. I have never waited so long for a dryer in my life (probably close to an hour after finishing my wash). Upon arriving, I also had to wait about 15 minutes for a washer. read more

I had previously gone to a different laundromat in town, but was getting fed up with how consistently dirty their machines were. I ended up here instead, and I'm glad I did -- the machines are big and clean, and so is the rest of the place. I thought it was a little more expensive... But again, their machines are CLEAN which is what really matters to me. read more

They have a handful of washers that will do 60lbs and 80lbs of clothes. That is a lot of clothes. It also washes my blankets very nicely. It does take a lot of quarters but one wash cycle on this big machine vs multiple wash cycles on my washer at home.....yea, one wash cycle wins and under $10, I am able to get two comforters, a sleeping bag, a dog bed, and pillow washed and dried in about an hour. The trick to drying, for you newbs, is to separate your big ass wash load to smaller loads so everything dries nicely and evenly. If you gotta ask what I mean, you're just going to have to learn on your own. If you didn't come with quarters, don't worry, there is a change machine. Forgot detergent, softener and you need bleach? They have that too. Or take yourself across the parking lot to Big Lots. Wondering what to do while you wait for your clothes to wash and dry? There are a couple TVs, a vending machine, and just outside north of the parking lot is a collection of food trucks. Get a bubble tea, some tacos, and finish off with an elephant ear. read more

This is a fantastic laundromat! Seriously, it's the best one -- even better than on military bases -- that I've ever used. They have all front loader washers, and they come in 4 sizes -- regular to huge! And also regular & giant dryers. The place is sparkling clean! The worker was incredibly helpful, opening the door for me when my arms were full, directing me to the right-sized machines, etc. I was astonished at the prices, which at first seemed pretty high. Then I realized they were actually a bargain! For instance, the 6 X washer (holds 60 pounds or six regular loads) was $5.25 -- less than the price of 6 regular-sized machines! The dryers are a quarter for 7 minutes, and you can adjust the heat from low to high. They have a TV and a snack/drink machine. Also, there are some fast-food places in the same "mall" and nearby. I usually dread coming to laundry mats but this one is very clean. There is actual workers and I see the owners cleaning the machines. I don't mind driving the extra 15 minutes for this place. Their machines can take up to 80 lb of laundry. read more

This is a nice laundromat. It is clean. There is a nice clean restroom with hand soap! I hate it when soap is not provided in restrooms! What kind if message does that send? There are multiple sizes of stainless steel front-loader washers. That's great so you can choose the size that fits your load. Lots of dryers. This was a great place to take my blankets and pillows to wash. They had many front-load washers and I used the two largest (80 lb) to wash several blankets and pillows together. And their dryers were also plentiful. The man who was working today was very friendly and helpful and the laundromat was clean. I had a great experience here...and that says a lot since going to a laundromat isn't something "fun". read more

I love going to this laundromat. There are plenty of washers and dryers. The owners will look for washers for you when there are ones in use. They are very friendly. I go here every week. The only complaint I have is the cleaning crew. I showed up later then I thought. They saw me bring in several baskets of clothes to wash. Let me start the laundry in the machines. Talked to other customers and let them know the place was closing soon. Or so I assume since they were speaking Spanish. When I realized the time I asked them if I could dry and they told me no. That they had to be out in five minutes and the doors lock behind them. I loaded my laundry up and left with it wet. The doors were already locked when I went to leave. This was my go-to place to get my laundry washed for 9 months. I didn't have a washer/dryer and enough time to sit around at a laundromat so I used their wash and fold service. They didn't take or destroy my clothing and they were reasonably polite and well priced. I always felt inclined to tip because I was impressed with the service. I'm not sure if they started using new chemicals however after month 9 my colored clothing started getting orange bleach stains, the majority of my clothing is black. I brushed off the first mistake which harmed two shirts. Next time I told them to only use soap however another two shirts were harmed a black and a white one. I wrote the owner a complaint and posted a review with three stars since I liked the laundromat and it's convenience. The owner got back to me in three weeks very sorry for my bad experience. He offered a discount for the trouble. He also begged me to remove the last honest review, feeling that the problems would cease I deleted it. Next time I came in I noticed my presence gave the employee anxiety. The owner must have put them through the ringer teaching them how to better run the place. I was happy my complaint was taken seriously however also scared thinking that the employees would spite me. Next two times after that my clothing was harmed. In a crunch I resorted to this laundromat again however found no employees working even in mid afternoon, checked three days in a row... Luckily by then I got my own washer/dryer. I'm sad this place went down the drain... I hope they get on their game soon. read more

I live in Forest Grove but this place is worth the trip. It is always clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice. They even have laundry soap and softeners for a reasonable price if you come while the office is open. I come about once a week for a couple of months now and have never been disappointed.
