I found on my own that drinking a cup of lemon a day to make my body alkaline is what took away ALL the pain. Amazing.... Bacteria can't grow in an alkaline environment in the bladder so I read. However on one occasion when calling the office to follow up with Dr. Greenstein the receptionist was careless and kept transferring me to some bizarre extension... I had to call finally a third time and tell her to stop transferring me and just take a message for Greenstein. I doubt it will ever reach him. I can't believe how receptionists could be so rude when their dealing with patients!

No compassion or basic customer service skills. Please, if you hate your job, move on and save poor patients the extra stress of dealing with your attitude.

I'd been scheduled for this scan by my primary care physician during my annual checkup exam, so I didn't see what Yelp had to say about Florham Park beforehand. Boy was I surprised when I looked online and saw all the 1-Stars and testimonials (!!!) Because of the timing, there was no backing out or way for me to schedule somewhere else. So I went in this morning with some trepidation. Fortunately I had a good patient experience overall. For imaging, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location again (140 Park Ave Building). Pros: ** Easy to drive there off of Columbia Turnpike. It's close to FDU -Florham. ** Nice campus. It's huge with more than ample parking and even covered parking structures for bad weather ** Imaging department is located as soon as you enter the main entrance doors of 140. It will be to your left. ** The waiting room is nice and they had HGTV playing on the TV ** The woman at Registration was polite, friendly, and informative ** The technician who performed my scan was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with explaining to me what would happen (which I really appreciate) ** The facilities once you enter past the registration area, equipment, and rooms looked good to me. There's a hallway with blue flowers painted on the walls, and on the ceiling above the machine there are images of the sky and flowers (so you can focus on those and relax while you are being x-rayed). Cons: ** So far, none... It's too early for the results and billing didn't happen yet. Hopefully the results will be uploaded to the portal in a timely fashion (in contrast to a fellow Yelper's review from last month). I don't know if that's a Summit Health computer system thing or human error though. We'll see what happens. Again, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location (140 Park Ave) in the future for imaging services.

I eventually called my Dr. and he called back to give me results. PS. I still see nothing in my "portal" and the girl said it will be uploaded . LOLOLOL. Sad that people who have jobs can't handle them. Thank goodness I go for most of my care at RWJ Barnabas as they know what they're doing . Sad sad sad world we live in today. If you don't advocate for yourself , you're basically well you know.......

But if you want the short version, I do not trust their front office. They are incapable of managing appointments correctly and information. Their computer system always has a tendency to go down. Also, they confirmed my SOCIAL SECURITY info by reading it to me WITHOUT asking me to confirming the last 4 digits. Medical offices need to ask the patient for the last four confirm. NOT read it out on the phone!!! Very unprofessional and very risky for identity theft!!! Anyways, I originally made an appointment to see Dr. Ring. Went through all the steps on the phone to provide background info, insurance, etc in order to get the appointment. Great! A few days later, I received a packet in the mail to fill out. Awesome! This should save me time the day of the appointment. The day after that, I get a call the front desk receptionist saying that my ORIGINAL appointment date is no longer available, however, I could come at a NEW date to see the other doctor. That's fine. The next day, I get a call AGAIN from the same front desk receptionist saying "something" had happened to their computer system and they needed to get all my info again. This was odd. But, ok. I spend another 30 minutes providing the SAME information again. Then she said that my appointment was for the ORIGINAL date. And, I said that she just called me yesterday to change my appointment to the NEW date. Oh, on top of that, she asked if I was on "Medicare." I had gone through all my information, so I'm not sure where she got that fact from. The week of my appointment, I get yet again ANOTHER call from the same front desk receptionist. This time, she needed to confirm my Social Security number, so she read it to me. No medical professional does that over the phone. On top of that, she asked if my appointment was to come in for a circumcision. Seriously, WTF. I don't know how that even got into their system. At this point, I said forget it. Cancel my appointment, you don't need my information (as the computer system seems to go down often and you read out my info freely on the phone instead of asking for confirmation) and if I do see the doctor, I may not even get the service that I needed. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION.

This review is not a reflection on the actual doctors working there -- whom I, likely, will never meet now. They may all be exceptional medical professionals -- indeed, some have stellar professional reviews on other sites. My complaint is about the BUSINESS side of the establishment. I just tried to make an appointment -- after about 10 minutes on hold, with the robot urging me to "leave a message instead of waiting" every minute -- I got to speak to a live (if drowsy) woman. I told her, I need an appointment -- and that I'll be a new patient. She asked my name, DOB, insurance-provider, address -- and only THEN told me, there is "no availability until June" (five weeks). With the stone making moves in my kidney already, I cannot wait this long... If the 4 or so doctors sharing this same address and phone-number in Westfield are all so busy, great for them! But why not have your phone-robot advise callers, that there is no availability for over a month ahead? And why ask me my name and all the other attributes, if I can't be seen any time soon anyway?
