We were at a four star until we were met with the rudest customer service from the girl handing out our ice cream. Line was pretty long in the drive thru, but it went quickly. Went here yesterday to buy a birthday cake. None of the cakes were labeled and when I asked what flavor the cake was, three different employees all told me they didn't handle cakes and had no idea. One did say it was probably vanilla and chocolate. I ended up buying it anyway, big mistake. The cake tasted terrible. It was all chocolate but didn't really taste like anything, just sweet. It also tasted like it was old, it had ice chunks on the top of it and just wasn't good. I only went to this store since I was in the area. I will go back to 67th and Deer Valley in the future. We ordered a mint brownie and a strawberry chocolate blizzard we got two strawberry blizzards but one had one pump of green mint on top kind of swirled in like you realized you made a mistake but instead of fixing it just screwed it up more. Worst customer service. They have a bunch of teenagers working here who appear to hate their job. The young man working the drive through today actually gave me attitude when I asked if they have lids. He said "you didn't AAAASK for a lid so no I didn't GIVE you a lid." Hmm weird cause I'm in the drive through with three items, you would think they would ASSUME you need a lid and a bag like normal Dairy Queens do. Also, there is a very big difference between you don't CARRY something anymore vs not knowing HOW to make something. I asked for a mudpie blizzard. Every DQ I've ever been to knows what that is and knows how to make it (it's the only thing I get). Apparently DQ doesn't carry this anymore... which is also funny because once I left this awful location and went to the one I normally go to, it was a miracle that DQ carries the mudpie blizzard! So when ordering a small Blizzard, the person at the drive through passively mentioned, there's a special on the window for $2.99 you can get a medium blizzard. I didn't have the stomach to eat a medium blizzard since we just had lunch, so I stuck with the small one. The guy said, "Ok, I'll have your total for you at the window." However, when we paid, the small blizzard ended up costing close to $4, which was more than the medium blizzard. We had no idea. It was just funny, because I would've gotten the medium blizzard if I'd known it'd be cheaper than the small. The guy taking our order didn't really push or make the suggestion though, so we were a bit disappointed. I get it, it's our loss for not really paying attention, but I'm used to people like at the movie theater that mention how getting the larger popcorn is a better deal. I guess I take those popcorn people for granted! Stopped in for ice cream with the family after spending the morning and afternoon at the Science Center. We had a couple free soft serve ice cream vouchers were received from an event at the library. The counter clerk was missing when we first arrived and the drive through lady had to yell for him, but once he came up front he took great care of us and had our ice creams out to us relatively fast. My girls each had a regular soft serve twist cone and my hubby had a brownie blizzard and I had the s'mores blizzard. I personally found the s'mores blizzard to be TOO sweet, but that is my personal preference. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream and my girls got to eat some of mine. The inside looked a little on the rundown side and could use a good cleaning. We may or may not be back, honestly depends on if it is convenient or not. Unfortunately, this is the closest Dairy Queen to where I live. Drive thru lines are long and slow, more times than not there is a sign on the menu telling you what ingredients they are " Out of". For example I have seen " No milkshakes, Out of Milk." How do you run out of milk? Aren't milkshakes one of your biggest selling items? And there is a Walmart in the same parking lot...just go buy some milk. If you happen to venture into the store wear something over your nose to protect you from the smell of sewerage in the place. Bathrooms are filthy and lobby isn't much better. My advise never use the mobile app. Twice went inside to pickup my order, (big mistake going inside) only to find out there were out of at least one ingredient to make it... Walked away without any product but still was charged $9.00. The quality of milkshakes and blizzards is underwhelming to say the least. read more

This location is fortunate to have an outstanding manager, April!! She is personable, fun and energetic!! A recent and outstanding new addition is Nicole (also personable, fun and energetic)!! These two gals made our visit a fun and memorable one, for sure!! They engaged with my 8 year old kid and he had fun with them and was loving the attention from the two gals!! They are certainly an asset to this location and my kiddo wants to go back soon!!! Of course, on a side note, you can get some yummy goodies here too!! read more
