Great service at the Dairy Queen on Chambers and Iliff. I went in with the intention of getting a banana split and got something much better than I expected. It was still a banana split, but with chocolate ice cream, caramel, hot fudge, and strawberry sauce with a perfectly sliced banana down the middle. To top it off the Dairy Queen employee through on whipped cream and pecans. It blew me away. The restaurant was pretty clean. It's been there for years. I think I've only ever been inside this location one other time over a decade ago. Dairy Queen ice cream has always made me happy. I hope that they never close it. It's a staple of my childhood in the summer. read more

Went yesterday for a cone and I had the worst experience ever. The girl who was getting me an ice cream cone licked her fingers while holding my vanilla cone on her hand. Totally disgusting!!! Most of the ice cream scoopers look mucky. No sanitation or whatsoever here. I won't never go back again. Save your money and find a clean location. I don't recommend this one at all. read more

Blizzards when it's a blizzard? Only in Colorado. Even though it's mostly teenagers and high school students that run this place, I have always left satisfied. The customer service is great majority of the time whether it's 12 p.m. or 9 p.m. Everything I have ever ordered here has been a 10/10 and is made very well. I have been a customer at this location for at least 20 years and have always loved stopping in after my sports games or to fulfill my sweet tooth. Oreo blizzards for the win! read more

I love the brand but this location is extremely dirty. The lady working at 04.16.2022 1pm shift was wiping her sweat and her hands to her shirt. I was there with my wife and we already paid and didn't want to discourage the lady but our experience was extremely discussing. We paid $12 for ice creams but couldn't even eat them. I just downloaded the Dairy Queen app a couple of days ago. I had hopes of coupons because I've had a hankering for ice cream lately, not gonna lie. It offered me a $1.99 milkshake through the end of the month, so why not?! I went today on my way home from doing an errand. Most locations don't offer online ordering, so I went with this location because it did. The in App ordering was a little convoluted, but I did it anyway. Your order is shown as pending and your card isn't charged until after you arrive at the location and check in. Only then do they start making your order. That is fine for a milkshake but seems less than ideal depending on what you get. I don't think you can schedule your order which is a nice option, but maybe I just missed that function in my zest for ice cream. It doesn't look like your order has gone through exactly, so I drove in that direction anhoped for the best. There is also no drive thru. I didn't realize until I got there that Orange Julius is also owned by them and it's a combo branded establishment. I pulled into a parking spot, checked in via the app, and a nice mask wearing employee brought my shake to my car window within minutes. It was a painless pick up. I never went in the restaurant, but it's a pretty dated and nondescript plaza. I got a small peanut butter shake which is normally $3.39 but was $1.99 with my App coupon ($2.15 including tax.) I'm not a huge peanut butter person normally but I was really hungry and it was the highest in calories of the shake choices. I felt like I should give something I don't normally go for a try. It was good! I wish there was a little more milkshake, I did feel like the top third was just whip cream kind of filling up a not totally full cup. Or I just should have gone for a medium. *shoulder shrug* It was a perfectly average experience, what one would expect from a Dairy Queen I think. read more

Ordered an premium strawberry banana drink. Server accidentally have it to the wrong customer and I was left with that customer's drink. So now I had to wait as they made my drink. I asked what were they going to do with the incorrect drink. One server said I could have it for my inconvenience. While it was in my hand another server took it from me and stated I couldn't have it. Manager said it was against policy. I asked if there could be anything for my inconvenience, he said no. My family will now become loyal customers of Baskin Robbins. read more

Mission: Blizzard This ill-fated journey started when we realized there was no drive-through, but felt compelled by the insatiable desire for cookie dough, chocolate and peanut butter. So, we did what our parents did back in their day; we got out of the car and walked inside. Upon opening the door and almost having one foot inside, the gentleman at the cash register bellowed out, "Hi Folks, what can I get for you!?" In a forced-polite manner, that would have impressed the pants off of his employer. When we said we needed a minute to decide from the many delicious options, the gentleman decided that was the exact right moment to hang his head. Probably from exhaustion, he was already leaning on the counter exhibiting that he was tired (which makes sense, as his sloppy button down and slightly progressed age in a sea of teen spirit and polos indicated that he was the man in charge, which must be exhausting). One we made our selections, placed our order and paid, the entertainment continued. Mr. Manager turns to his two teenage understudies (young ladies trying to figure out the art of cone making), first taunting them for not having the appropriate skills to make a mile high swirl, then yelling in an authoritative manner, "There's hair everywhere! It's disgusting!" Our mission was close to its end, the deliverables were almost in hand, we could almost taste the ice cream mix that Mr. Manager had just carried out in a giant, 25 gallon bag, and tossed into the machine. A questionable fellow appeared from the depths of the kitchen, as if walking onto a stage at a rap concert, and said in an impress-a-teenager tone, "we got a mini cookie dough and medium royal something." Do not go to this store. I came to take my family to get some Blizzards. I asked for a heath bar and a cookie dough. My son has some allergies and we understand we have possible cross contamination. but before we left we asked which one was cookie dough. and Staff stated which one it was. obvious I would not be writing this if that was what I received. called the store to let them know what they have done and they place the blame on myself and they then proceeded to say there is posted signs for cross contamination and too bad. I get that there is possible contamination, but when you as a company tell me what I was served was all together incorrect. This store lost a 20+ year customer. read more

Great little shop and very accommodating. I have only gotten ice cream but it is fresh. The tables, floors and restrooms are always clean. I am giving it four stars because I have yet to try the hot food side of the menu. All the soft serve and Orange Julius is great.! read more

Came here to treat my whole family to ice cream placed a large order got home and my blizzard was made incorrectly.. I ordered the French silk pie blizzard which I order every time I come here which is suppose to come with dark chocolate pieces and pie crust pieces.. I get home to find my blizzard has the dark chocolate pieces and brownie chunks.. Not a huge deal so I went back and told the girl who then tried to charge my for more money for brownie pieces to fix it.. I explained to her that I did not want brownie pieces in my blizzard I just wanted the chocolate chunks and pie crusts that is what is actually suppose to come in my blizzard.. She said she understood and then had it remade.. I get home after my second trip to find that my blizzard was made wrong yet again.. At this point I was a little annoyed so I called the manager who didn't see, to take me very seriously at all she asked the girl who made it while I was on the phone what she put in it then explained to her that brownies do not go in the French silk pie blizzard.. The manager then told me to come back and she would have one made when I got there.. On my drive back I thought to myself why would I want them to make it while I'm not there.. After they took it as a joke on the phone.. So they can spit in it? I don't think so.. After I had to come back for a third time I finally just asked for my money back. Manager was not apologetic and showed no empathy she acted like it was my fault that her employees don't know what ingredients go in what blizzards..
