Located in the Cheongdam food hall. We got a late dinner here and my son and I decided to try this place. The young guy who helped was nice. Ordered a truffle steak dip sandwich with truffle fries and Prime beef bulgogi sandwich. Everything was delicious. FLavors were on point and the truffle fries were good but we have had better. Overall good place to eat and prices are decent. There are lots of seating all over the food hall.

Very unexpected surprise! Came here originally for the curry next to this booth but decided last minute that I wanted a burger. I ordered the Umami Burger with a side of onion rings, no drink. It came out in a reasonable time and the presentation was cool. I like the stamp on top of the bun. Makes it look fancy! The burger was cooked a perfect med/well. At first bite, I was expecting mediocre but to my delight, it was AMAZING! I was planning on just eating half but ended up enjoying every morsel of this delicious burger. The onion rings were cooked perfectly as well. Love the crunch and it didn't taste greasy. Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely be back for another burger or possibly try another item on the menu.

This tasty eatery is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall and offers a variety of delectable sandwiches, burgers, and appetizers. Being that it was our first time trying this place out, the cashier was very helpful when ordering our food. We decided on the Downtowner Cheeseburger, the White Truffle Steak Dip, and a cheese sauce on the side to dip our fries in. The burger and steak dip was packed with flavor, cooked very well, and paired perfectly with the seasoned fries. The nacho cheese sauce was so good, we couldn't stop dipping our fries in it. The au jus was a tad bit on the salty side for my liking, but I actually preferred eating the sandwich without it. The food's reasonably priced, portion-sizes were plentiful, and our bellies left happy and full.

Came here to pick up a quick dinner after work on 1/31 during their soft opening period (opened since 1/26) where they're offering 30% off the entire menu. Downtowner is the "newest" addition to Cheongdam Food Hall, replacing Tacos by Carmen and Jose. Originally, i wanted to try the SHRIMP BURGER but the cashier girl said they did NOT have that, nor the B.L.T.U. Burger. Ended opting for the ITALIAN STALLION and the TRUFFLE STEAK DIP. The ITALIAN STALLION includes ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, onion, vinaigrette, italian spices in a sub. uh idk what i was expecting, but its def just a normal italian styled sandwich. oops. If you like ordering italian sandwiches at sub places, this is it. The TRUFFLE STEAK DIP includes ribeye, provolone, truffled onions and mushrooms, giardiniera, horseradish aioli, sauce, in a warm sub. This one is a little more promising. warm chopped ribeye with melty provolone, truffled onions and mushrooms with a horseradish aioli. very creamy and delicious. The giardiniera adds a nice crunch to it all and pickled flavor. Honestly, the side "dip" sauce is not really needed. Wished there was more onions and mushrooms as i love those two items in general. This makes me want to try their PHILLY CHEESESTEAK. It took quite a while to receive my 2 sandwiches. Considering one was cold (cuts), it was a bit weird. --------------------- Came again for a quick dinner on their opening week (02/03) and they still have the "soft opening 30% off" deal. Again, they did NOT have the SHRIMP BURGER, so I tried the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK this time, while my friend got MUTANT CHICKEN. The PHILLY CHEESESTEAK includes sliced ribeye steak, melted american, grilled onions in a warm sub. Tasted similar to the previous TRUFFLE STEAK DIP but i may actually prefer the that over the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK. similar/same meat. the TRUFFLE STEAK DIP was more creamy with the provolone PLUS the aioli. The PHILLY CHEESESTEAK needed more cheese. Also, the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK was DRIPPING in oil. The ends of the bread was a bit hard too somehow. Overall, the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK was ok. Definitely not the best in town. My friend had got the MUTANT CHICKEN which includes chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, cheddar, fries, buffalo hot sauce, blue cheese in a sub. She got bored of it pretty fast so I ended up finishing it for her. All you really taste is the buffalo hot sauce with a small amount of blue cheese creeping in the back. (im not a fan of blue cheese so at least it wasn't overpowering to me). This felt like a meal in a sub. You have the mozzarella stick appetizer, chicken finger and fries entree, all in a sandwich. Definitely didn't notice the cheddar in it. Even the mozzarella sticks was kind of un-noticable as well. Overall, flavor of the sandwiches was not bad. Worth the original price? No. Worth the price with the 30% off? Maybe. Size of the sandwiches are on the smaller end. Kind of hard to justify the price when the sandwich is smaller than most places for same (30% off) or cheaper.

Absolutely iconic! Fun concept and overall delicious. That Soho Umami Burger had me in a chokehold! This place is not for the neat eaters; you're meant to be licking your fingers after every bite. Recommend: Soho Umami Burger, Downtowner Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Animal Fries & Korean Fried Chicken Wings. Service is on point. This restaurant is inside of a food hall so there's little to expect since space is limited however it accommodates every taste bud. Came over to the food hall to try the Downtowner because my husband just raves about this place. And now I can see why. It was soooo freaking GOOD! We split the Umami Burger and the Animal Style Fries. The burger quite literally just melts in your mouth. Seriously, if you are wondering what kind of adventures to get into today, GO TRY THIS PLACE!!!

Great burger! The young lady working is very nice and helpful. I got the cheeseburger with fries. It was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and meat was tasty. Special sauce was yummy. They opened up just yesterday, and it's 30% off everything for their soft opening. I didn't get to order before they closed, but the food smelled great. Gotta come back to actually try. Friendly guy at the front who was totally willing to go over the whole menu with me despite being closed. They said that the LV Smash sandwich and O.G. Champion burger are must tries. The seating area is shared with the rest of the food hall, which is bright, clean, and spacious. You can always share a burger and some poke or katsu from one of the other establishments if you're unsure of what to get!

This place was too short lived. As of 12/19/2025, Eki Ramen has already taken over their space. Heard Downtowner closed a few weeks ago. So sad. They had a great mushroom burger as well as chicken burger. The fries were delicious. Crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside. Perfect seasoning too. Please open another location in Vegas. read more

They also run some great deals: - Buy 3 sandwiches or burgers, get 1 FREE - First customer of the day gets a free drink + appetizer Here's what I ordered: * Smokin Supreme Sandwich - stacked with pastrami, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, bacon + honey BBQ sauce (a total flavor bomb) * Dip N' Bite Burger - comes with a truffle + cheese dipping sauce, so indulgent * Wings - tried the hot honey + parmesan garlic, both solid but I personally loved the hot honey more. We love this place! The burgers were always fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The animal fries were amazing, too. The service was consistently great. yes, you had to wait a bit for your food, but it always came out piping hot and absolutely worth it. We're really hoping they open a new location soon. Tried their Soho Umami burger and it was delicious. The buttery bun, the juicy patty, the unctuous mozzarella, and the fried onion straws really worked well. But the richness of the burger needed some acidic relief, like pickles, or even better kimchi. I came for the burger, but the animal fries stole the show. Perfectly cooked fries topped with bulgogi and a cheese sauce - it was probably the best loaded fries I've had. I was the first customer of the day, so I got these animal fries and drink for free! What a bonus. For $15 total, I couldn't even finish it all and took some of the fries to go. The service from the young lady at the counter was excellent. read more

Great menu of sandwiches and burgers... many with an Asian twist. I had the 85 degree Slow Pork Galbi... it was delicious. Really rich and decadent pork balanced with peppers and onions on a brioche. Really good. The guy behind the counter was helpful and friendly... pretty great place. read more

I was very excited for the idea of a pastrami burger only to find a Mickey Mouse sized piece of pastrami. The pictures should speak for themselves. I kinda expect as much from the shared kitchen. Had their buffalo chicken cheese fries for $5.99. Portions were generous with good amount of chicken. They put buffalo sauce and I think ranch. My one complaint is they forgot to put cheese or they put so little that I couldn't see it or taste it. I'll come back and try their Philly cheese fries next time. read more

The service and ambiance is great. The food is lacking. I think the management is trying to go for the "unhealthy, gluttonous" angle here, but personally it's not for me. Taking these sandwiches home and unwrapping them, having my hands drenched in sauce... it's unique, but is it a pleasant experience? The pork galbi is an interesting idea but impossible to chew piece by piece. One bite and you're resigned to pulling out the whole thing. I like the idea of embracing an Asian-American fusion approach, I just think the execution is sloppy - literally. I come here anyways when I'm craving burgers a step above McDonalds but am too lazy to drive to a place like In & Out. I am no expert in food industry, but I think focusing on quality, removing some of the frozen stuff and sizing the menu down, and replacing the buns that are currently used for the burgers (have you seen some of these pictures!) would be a good start. Heck, maybe even the sub bread - seems small. It feels like one of those places that offer a billion options but only the seasoned fries are truly great. read more

After enjoying our food for a bit, a group sat next to us consisting of 2 women and 2 very young toddlers. I knew it was going to be bad by the way the toddler wandered around the few tables across the aisle, ultimately blocking our server from bringing us our food for a bit. The baby then began to scream its head off and did not stop as the ladies tried to quiet it down. I did not say anything to them as I know it is an embarrassing situation to be in to have a stranger critique your parenting style. We finished up the meal (the baby was still screaming at this point) and when our server noticed we had been giving each other That Look™, she came back and the first thing she said was "I'm so sorry about that," and offered to move us to the enclosed dining area to enjoy our dessert and escape the ruckus. The manager then offered us 2 more mimosas as an apology for being sat next to a loud table. Overall, the food was delicious, the was atmosphere nice, and the staff did a wonderful job controlling a situation without humiliating the guests who had caused it. One thing of note is that, as I'm sure this is meant to be a more casual dining experience, you should not be expecting super fast service. This is a place to enjoy the breeze and freshly prepared food, so there is more of a relaxed attitude. If you're into that and aren't in a rush to leave, I would absolutely recommend this cafe.

I was genuinely excited to try Downtowner, especially after hearing it's a famous burger chain from Korea. Sadly, the experience didn't live up to the hype. I ordered the Triple Bleu Cheese Burger and the Soho Umami Burger to sample a variety, but both missed the mark. The Triple Bleu Cheese sounded rich and bold but ended up tasting more sweet than savory, and the bleu cheese flavor was faint. The Soho Umami Burger had a nice presentation, but the flavor just didn't come together--it lacked depth and balance. The fries were also a letdown--bland and in serious need of salt. For the price point, I expected something far more refined or at least memorable, but the quality didn't justify the cost. I couldn't even finish my burger, which says a lot. On top of that, parking is tricky, and finding a seat once inside the Cheongdam Food Hall plaza especially for bigger groups on weekends can be frustrating. Between the difficult logistics and underwhelming food, I can't see myself coming back. I truly hope they take a step back and do some quality control because the concept has potential. But as it stands right now, this just isn't it. If you're craving a great burger in Vegas, there are definitely better options nearby for both taste and value. read more

Brianna so amazing. Best service in the entirety of cheongdam. Better than Martin Liang. She should get a raise tbh, she works so hard and I see her working at all the stores. She also just gave me free corn chips and they were really good idk if she's allowed to do that tho. read more

The Downtowner food menu is huge and there are plenty of unique mixes. I had the mutant chicken, which was delicious. The cashier, Brianna, was super friendly and helped explain the food items to me. The design of the place is nice as well. read more
