Jasmine gives awesome service! I appreciate the positive attitude she has whenever I go in. The whole team is a joy but she stands out! She did my safety check today. My license plate cover was old, cloudy and scratch so she couldn't read it very well and it need to come off. Instead of sending me away to do it myself she patiently (in the rain) unscrewed the cover and fix it for me. I know it's a small thing and maybe it is her job but I appreciated her kindness. read more

Highly Recommended! Do not hesitate by the old look of their station, these guys are very professional, kind & honest. They let me slide in for an oil change, just 1 hour before the station closes, and got the work done in about 40 min. costed me around $40. I got detailed explanations of recommended service- why and how (even taught me the DIY option) directly from the mechanic who took care of my vehicle. He was very kind to the point I, who with a very few mechanic vocabulary & aren't so familiar with vehicles, could understand the whole conversation. I switched from Lex, very satisfied. read more

This is the shop of a hardworking, fair and reasonable, honest man--- KEITH. He went out of his way to help me prepare my car for shipment back to the mainland. I could not be on island. And, I asked him to do a complete 60K checkup, plus drive my car for many weeks to make sure everything was in order before putting her on the ship. And, during the summer hurricane season, he even kept my car safe inside the shop. For twenty years I have been having my car filled up and maintained by Keith..... Will miss the trust I had of him now that I must build a relationship with another mechanic. Its not easy thing to replicate. Keith is one of a kind. read more

I've been going here for about 8 years, give or take. I was so happy with my first experience. They were honest and straight forward, fees were reasonable, and the mechanics communicated everything really well and really respectfully. I've been getting all my regular service/maintenance and repairs there ever since, with the exception of once when they referred me out for one major job. Prior to that I did all my own oil changes and basic work but they take such good care of my car and me as a customer, that it's easier to have them take care of everything. Since then, all of my family members in town have started going there regularly too. read more

No public restrooms no service from me. The area around this station reeks . Maybe the employees are great. I for one will never know as restrooms are necessary and the lack of them only tells me the true nature of this establishment. Especially in a town needing tourism $$. read more

Anyone in the Hilo area; take it from a forensic engineer that worked on car & truck chassis in Detroit, Keith runs the shop in a work-man/woman like professional Team. They've a nice chair outside, they are prompt, but a good safety check and realignment of the front end & rear end, and the steering wheel, takes time so bring a book. Get thirsty? Chevron Downtown Hilo has both Pepsi and Coke machines, 75 cents a can. Get hungry? Micky-D is kitty corner and Pineapples is down the street. Can't comment about part prices, didn't need any, just an alignment. But the alignment was at a Mainland price, surprisingly low for Hawaii. Give your soda can to Keith for recycling, no bin the day I was there. read more

Went to get my headlight bulb changed. Called in and got an appointment set up. Workers there are very friendly and helpful.Had to wait a few minutes because what I needed was out of stock but they called in an order and in a few minutes bulb was delivered :). Awesome service and will be making this my go to repair shop. 5 big stars to Keith, Jasmine and another worker who sorry didn't get your name but you all were great. Went in for safety checks on cars shipped from mainland. Employees were great, very friendly. BUT the owner/manager was horrible. Very, very rude for no reason. We had an appointment, all the required documents, and didn't ask for any special treatment. She was clearly pissed that she had to come out of her back office to do the safety check. This was the second time we had to come in because cars shipped in need the safety check first and then you return for the sticker after you get the plates from the DMV. The employees were great the first time. So nice and friendly that I recommended them to a friend. But when we returned for sticker, the owner was so rude, shoving our papers at us and talking to us like we were little children that had been misbehaving. Her level of rudeness was shocking. I will look for "new ownership" signs before I ever return. read more
