After talking it over with my husband, I decided I am not now and never intend to be a professional photographer....I am a total point and click kinda girl. The Nikon was a great deal for the price. One of the guys had to go and buy AA batteries so I could check it out. We also saw a fairly recent HP Pavilion laptop with Beats audio for less than half the new price in new condition. I asked them if they could cut me a deal if I bought both...a deal was made. They also threw in "The Breakfast Club" in blue ray. I can't really believe it is the 25th anniversary edition, but it claims it is. :)

Very poor experience I went in here to sell a couple of rings and The guy looked at the rings for…read moretwo seconds and turned around and told me what they apparently were worth he said he will give me 100 for my 300$ ring and that my other ring which was white gold with small diamonds was worth 1$ and said they were not real diamonds and the ring was silver when I know it wasn't because I had the receipt for that ring so he proceeds to tell me that it's fake and turns around to grab a gem identifier and the gem pro was very clearly broken because it said it was three different types of materials and continued to change colors so he then tried to tell me that the ring was three different types of material lol and he grabs one of his 250.00 priced real diamond rings out of the draw to prove that mine wasn't real and it identified the diamond as a moissanite and he clearly had it labeled as a diamond and when I tried to negotiate the price of the 300$ ring he said that there's no point in negotiating that's his final price guys something is definitely fishy about this business do not buy from here and if you already have I would go to another jeweler to confirm the authenticity of your purchase

I have a very heavy silver men's bracelet with links. I needed the clasp repaired. I brought the…read morebracelet to a jeweler in Fairfield and was told it would cost $325 for the repair because it was Italian silver, and that very few people work with silver jewelry, and it would take several weeks. I was shocked being I paid that price when I purchased it 20 years prior. He said, very few people work with silver jewelry, and it would take several weeks. I certainly was not going to have him repair it. I've had gold items repaired for much less. I was in Stratford and saw MJs, I figured I would get a price on the repair. They were very friendly and accommodating. I expected that I would have been given an estimate that was equivalent to the prior jeweler (I assumed he was being HONEST with me). They took one look at the bracelet and said it would cost $35 and they would only need two days. The repair was pretty extensive; the clasp and the link were worn and needed to be seemed and rebuilt structurally. That price brought a huge smile to my face. I was so happy there are some honest people still out there, that was so reassuring, (Obviously. I was pretty upset with the prior Jewler, he simply was stealing my money). The repair was amazing and showed a high level of skill and craftsmanship. It literally looked brand new. Obviously, don't waste your time and money with any other jewelers. If you're looking for an honest and friendly jeweler, a laid-back family atmosphere, fast repair, and great customer service. Look no further. Bill S.

Andrew was straightforward, answered all my questions, and I felt absolutely no sales pressure. The shop itself is very professional and welcoming--definitely not like visiting a pawnshop. Andrew was transparent about how they determine evaluations and took the time to explain everything patiently. In the end, I felt I received a fair price for the coins I sold. I had looked into selling on eBay, but after fees and other costs, there really isn't much left for the seller--so this was a much better option. The only minor downside was the parking. The lot is angled, and I had some trouble getting out because an oversized truck was parked nearby. I ended up backing out without issue, but fair warning for anyone who isn't great at parking! Overall, a professional, honest, and smooth experience--I'd highly recommend.
