The owner quickly surveyed my ring and proceeded to tell me how much it was worth to me in cash value? No questions were asked about the history or how much it cost originally? I personally thought it was worth a little more but honestly I just wanted to get rid of it.

They had all kinds of things from exercise machines, to toaster ovens, lawn mowers, apple watches, even quesadilla makers . We found a whole line up of sanders and the man working the counter was very friendly and asked if we had been there before. The sander was listed for 24 dollars but he lowered it to 20 without us even asking for a price reduction. I would come back here if I was in the Bridgeport area again.

I have a very heavy silver men's bracelet with links. I needed the clasp repaired. I brought the…read morebracelet to a jeweler in Fairfield and was told it would cost $325 for the repair because it was Italian silver, and that very few people work with silver jewelry, and it would take several weeks. I was shocked being I paid that price when I purchased it 20 years prior. He said, very few people work with silver jewelry, and it would take several weeks. I certainly was not going to have him repair it. I've had gold items repaired for much less. I was in Stratford and saw MJs, I figured I would get a price on the repair. They were very friendly and accommodating. I expected that I would have been given an estimate that was equivalent to the prior jeweler (I assumed he was being HONEST with me). They took one look at the bracelet and said it would cost $35 and they would only need two days. The repair was pretty extensive; the clasp and the link were worn and needed to be seemed and rebuilt structurally. That price brought a huge smile to my face. I was so happy there are some honest people still out there, that was so reassuring, (Obviously. I was pretty upset with the prior Jewler, he simply was stealing my money). The repair was amazing and showed a high level of skill and craftsmanship. It literally looked brand new. Obviously, don't waste your time and money with any other jewelers. If you're looking for an honest and friendly jeweler, a laid-back family atmosphere, fast repair, and great customer service. Look no further. Bill S.

My experience with this company, specifically Andrew, started with an email where I sent over my…read moreinventory spreadsheet, followed by a call. Andrew was straightforward, answered all my questions, and I felt absolutely no sales pressure. The shop itself is very professional and welcoming--definitely not like visiting a pawnshop. Andrew was transparent about how they determine evaluations and took the time to explain everything patiently. In the end, I felt I received a fair price for the coins I sold. I had looked into selling on eBay, but after fees and other costs, there really isn't much left for the seller--so this was a much better option. The only minor downside was the parking. The lot is angled, and I had some trouble getting out because an oversized truck was parked nearby. I ended up backing out without issue, but fair warning for anyone who isn't great at parking! Overall, a professional, honest, and smooth experience--I'd highly recommend.
