As much as we've loved our past experiences at the pub, we were so happy to have ended up at Bittersweet. It was our first time there and definitely won't be our last!! We both ordered unique cocktails, a couple of sandwiches, and our waitress talked us into dessert. Everything was amazing! I ordered the Harvest Ham Melt -- Freshly sliced ham, apple slices, cheddar, and honey dijon on cinnamon swirl bread... all warm & toasty with coleslaw + potato chips on the side. My husband ordered the Classic Tex-Mex Wrap -- Grilled Cajun chicken, colby jack cheese, black olives, tomato, and mixed greens. He said it was one of the best lunches he's ever had! The decadent Snickers Cheesecake at the end of our meal was UNBELIEVABLE! Honestly too good to be true, and I highly recommend leaving room for it if you plan a visit here! Restaurant interior is quaint, cozy, full of history, and has a very comfortable & inviting atmosphere. Staff is happy, busy, and skilled at what they all do! They will not be changing the original menu items as they will continue to be made the way they always have been. After some time of deliberating on what to order, we decided to go with the medium Sasquach on jalapeño roll - lamb, corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, jalapeño chees spread, swiss cheese, bacon, garlic mayo, deli mustard, and chipotle mustard. We also added lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion (on her half), banana peppers, and dill pickles. Unfortunately no sweet hotties... I looked at some of the reviews before I walked in, and I must admit they do have a ton of craft beers. They also have some of the local craft soft drinks as well. A decent variety of wines and liquors rounds out the offerings. You can also get hot coffee, tea, cappuccino, frappuccino, and probably some other kind of -ccinos. Soft drinks are available back at the fountain by the coffees. Outside were bags and bags of carrots, apples, corn and sugar beets, all ready for feeding the poor starving deer in the wild. A few gasoline pumps and 4 or 5 truck lanes for diesel. Very limited parking for big-rigs. Really, read the other reviews, as they do a much better job than mine in telling the whole story.
