Front Street Coffeehouse was one of my favorite coffee stops in Salem, Massachusetts. Located in…read morethe heart of downtown, this cozy café has been part of the community since 1996 and is known as "Salem's Living Room." After visiting, I understand why. I ordered an iced decaf coconut flavor oat milk latte, and it was absolutely delicious. When the coconut flavoring ran out just before I ordered , the staff happily went to the back and opened a new bottle so they could make exactly what I requested. They were fun, friendly, and seemed happy to help. That small act of care made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The latte itself was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly cold, exactly what I needed while walking around Salem on a steamy summer day. Front Street serves Jim's Organic Coffee, and the quality came through in every sip. I also loved the coffeehouse's cozy, lived-in atmosphere and its visible LGBTQ inclusivity. It felt like a place created for community: warm, expressive, relaxed, and welcoming to everyone. That matters to me just as much as a great cup of coffee. Delicious coffee, joyful service, and wonderfully inclusive energy made this a five-star experience. I cannot wait to return.

The coffee was ok. The bagel sandwich was a grab and go item. The coffee house was very busy with people staying and taking to go items. The staff were friendly.

Crave, is a super cute bakery and cafe in Salem. It's been blowing up on social media lately…read moreand...actually lives up to the hype! The space is spotless, charming, and runs with surprising efficiency despite how busy it gets. The staff members were super pleasant, patient, and well-organized--honestly, the only slight drawback of the visit was a few impatient customers in line, but the team handled the crowd seamlessly. The food and drinks completely steal the show. The breakfast sandwiches are the absolute all-stars of the menu; their gluten-free cheese and herb bread was mind-blowingly flavorful and easily some of the best gluten-free bread around. On the sweet side, the chocolate chip cookie hit that perfect balance between a crisp edge and a chewy center, and the stuffed croissants were wonderfully light and flaky. Paired with a rich pumpkin spice cold brew and a perfectly balanced maple spice latte, everything we tried hit the mark. It's a absolute must-visit for top-tier coffee and breakfast in Salem! Definitely will be back!

I had to wait outside for a bit until people walked out so I can wait in line inside. But I'd say it was worth it. Ordered a Crave Latte, blueberry scone, and a fruity pebbles cereal bar. Service was quick, and the Latte had the perfect balance. Not overly sweet.
