Was there today for lunch, but looking for a breakfast menu, only a few options available... our server took forever to come by and take any order. Coffee was gross, the breakfast burrito was so oily, dripping even, the food took forever, all the tables around us that arrived after were being served. Club sandwich was missing the bacon aioli and when we asked for it we were told they didn't have any so they didn't put on it. I believe that's something the server should've told us when we ordered to give a chance for us to decide. The first time we went was for breakfast and that was great but won't return after today. Also the burrito made me sick. read more

I loved everything about this place! Our server was super on top of everything and was extremely polite. The vegan options were plenty and my favorite was the crème brûlée oatmeal. Ive never even thought of something like that but it was extremely delicious and I honestly havent stopped thinking about eating it again since! My friend really enjoyed the steak omelette as well. The avocado toast was too simple for the price and it couldve used a more creative recipe but overall the experience was extremely nice! Everything was clean and organized and I definitely would recommend this diner. read more

Great food. Went there for breakfast and it was delicious. Sat outside and had a nice view.

We wanted to try a new place and decided to try Downtown Diner located in Celebrations. Luckily we made reservations online but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table after we arrived. Is it worth the wait? Yes, it is! This diner can be found in the middle of the cute town. It also helped that they had a farmers market in the morning and allowed us to walk around while we waited for our table. Nothing special about the menu but the food was fresh and tasty. I was able to find a Gluten-Free section on the menu and made my choice. Wasn't a big choice selection but enough for me to find something to eat. The staff was extremely friendly and was always ready to refill your coffee when you're running low. I look forward to coming back and trying other options they have on their menu. read more

What a great diner-style restaurant! Outdoor seating options looking across a body of water. Mimosas and coffee. Vegan options including impossible burger skillet. Solid kids options, including Turkey bacon. Such a nice place! read more

In town for a football tournament and we were looking for a great breakfast spot. Downtown Diner exceeded our expectations and does not have the inflated Disney prices. We have now visited on back to back days! The Dutch Pancake is unbelievably delicious. Omelettes are massive and tasty as well! Dave our server was fantastic both days. read more

What a lovely spot in Celebration! I was in town for a car show and Downtown Diner was right in the middle of the action. This place is so adorable and the staff is very fun and attentive. Despite the crowd, service was great and our food came out quickly. The menu here also has all your breakfast favorites and then some! The breakfast burrito and avocado toast did not disappoint. I cannot recommend this cute spot enough! read more

I just want to give a shout out to our server Zoe! She made our dining experience very pleasant. She was helpful and got us everything we wanted and more. I loved how she naturally went above and beyond. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and it was the creamiest grits I've ever had! We will definitely be back because Zoe made our time there so very comfortable. read more

Overall a good experience. Food was good. Diner was clean & service was fast and friendly! We will be back :)

The service was extremely poor. We were a family of 11, including three children and a pregnant mother, deciding whether some of us would stay to eat or leave. Suddenly, the manager approached us, yelling for us to leave. One of our family members explained the situation and mentioned that he had already placed an order, but the manager still demanded we leave, using a disrespectful tone. It made us wonder if this treatment was because he overheard us speaking Spanish (we are from Guatemala and México). read more

Loved the ambiance of this diner in downtown Celebration. The diner displays 1980s & 90s gadgets & movie posters. Outdoor seating offers a nice view of a lake across the street. The menu contains a nice variety of brunch items, including omelets . I chose the shrimp & grits & it was delish. The dish contained large blackened shrimp & a generous mound of grilled onions & chopped green peppers in the center of a bowl of creamy grits. Choice of cheeses was offered to add to the dish ( I chose cheddar). My hubby enjoyed his favorite sandwich-Reuben. And he had a choice of corned beef or pastrami! My adult son chose & gobbled up the featured Dutch Baby Philly Cheesesteak. The diced steak, peppers & onions & cheese sauce is placed in an open-faced round pressed waffle, I think. He ate it like a personal pizza. Loved our waitress! She was very personable & solicitous. Definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed! read more

Location location location. The Steiner located right on the lake and Celebration is a great place to grab a hefty breakfast. Their skillet breakfast are killer, however, if I had to leave, a recommendation is to offer some sort of bread/biscuit. Even so it's far more than anyone can eat in one sitting and so I always take it back home and heat it up for 2 to 3 more breakfast - - you get that much. What makes this desired destination are really the staff from the hostess seating you to every waiter/waitress. Each time I have enjoyed a delicious breakfast I leave making a friend. If you're in the area, make sure you check it out and afterward had across the street to sit in one of the rockers under a canvas umbrella, and just taking the sights to relax and unwind. Oh and there's a quaint, Starbucks diagonally if you need a latte or cappuccino to walk the rest of the downtown area. read more

Downtown Diner Celebration - Pastrami Reuben $15. Normally we have Sunday Brunch with an egg entree. Today I tried one of the regular menu sandwiches. On more than a half dozen visits they always hit a home run. The reuben was a really bad strikeout. If NYC's Katz Deli/Restaurant is a "10", this diner's reuben rates barely a "1". I'm going to guess about 2 oz of meat, but I'm not sure it was meat. Pastrami is deep red and juicy. Their meat was gray and tasteless. I can only guess that they oversteamed the meat to heat it up and it got ruined. Cheese was a processed Swiss and not the real thing. Bread was a sopping mess because they failed to drain the juice from the sauerkraut first and the overdone sauce masked the taste of the sandwich. By coincidence we later passed by NY Bagels on the next corner. Their pastrami sandwich cost a bit more, but it has over 11 oz of meat. No comparison. Don't avoid the Downtown Diner, but run hard and fast from their Reuben Sandwich. read more

I gave the diner 3 stars because of the atmosphere and view. The only diner choice in celebration. I have the Chicken and biscuits and I must say the chicken is exceptionally dry, not edible, and the biscuits are hard. My husband and I only get one evening a week to share a nice "date night." Friday night, we tried a new place, Downtown Diner in Celebration. It was a great choice. The food and service were fantastic. The portion size will not disappoint you, trust me, you will not be leaving hungry unless you decide to have water only. We will be back and look forward to trying another great item on the menu. Be sure to ask about the daily specials. A Philly is not like any other Philly sandwich you had before. So many great choices that you will have to go back several times to find the dish you love most. Matt was our server and was very tentative and ensured we were satisfied with all our food and service. Love Love! read more

We had a great experience at Downtown Diner. Our server, Javon, was excellent!! He was very personable and friendly. It was fun to watch him interact with his customers. He was attentive and on top of everything we needed. More servers need to be like Javon. The food and coffee were delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and staff made you feel welcome. Definitely would recommend Downtown Diner!!! read more

This diner is the best breakfast place in the Orlando area. I had avocado toast & my husband had the country skillet. Both were excellent. The best part is it is in downtown Celebration. Very quiet & no crowds or waiting on a table. We loved it so much we took our friends there the next morning & we had the same thing to eat again. Service was great. Very friendly & food came out right on time. It's a little out of the way but well worth it. read more

This restaurant did use to be better. The food is hit or miss these days. I don't love the decor now and the food always somehow wrong. I don't ask for much no sausage sub potato. The staff is always wonderful and fixes it. ‍ Also, the grits are sweet. I get it people from different areas like different things but..what if I was diabetic. It had sugar in it. It's a lovely restaurant with lots of options for everyone. They have lots Gluten Free and Vegan options which is a big deal for a breakfast/brunch/lunch place. But the service is hit or miss and when there is an event they can't handle it. It seems they also got a lot of new staff which is a bummer cause I loved some of the other people and I didn't see one of them when we dined there today. I hate to give this a 4/5 because honestly it's one of my favorite restaurants and I love taking people here. But the last few times I have whether there is an event or not the food isn't always great but the service is always great and they fix whatever might be wrong. I do love the 80's and the Saved By the Bell/Back to the Future 2 in diner decor they are doing. I just honestly grew up in the 80's-90's so for it to be Vintage now just makes me sad. Plus, 50-60's is my favorite time period. Please check this place out it is a gem in a sea of mediocre restaurants near the Kissimee/Celebration area. read more

We went on a Sunday and there was a farmers market/art fest happening in the streets, all the waitstaff we're dressed in medieval costumes and looked like they were having a good time. I had the Oink Oinkhe Omlet which had Bacon, Ham, Sausage and mushrooms, It was very tasty. The American cheese in the middle gave it even more flavor. The Wife ordered the the "Egg"celent Choice with 2 eggs Bacon, sausage, toast and tator tots, also very tasty. Only issue, I asked a waitress to grab our waitress before she made our drink so I can make a change, the waitress didn't come until she brought our drinks. She said once she poured a cranberry juice she can't return it so she has to charge for it but she can still bring my wife her milkshake in addition to the cranberry juice that ordered for her, the milkshakes were also good but I think they should have a more customers friendly policy on things like this. read more

Not our first visit and this was not the best. We sat quite long before being acknowledged by our server. Food was good but service was lacking. Our server spent his time chatting with someone sitting at the counter instead of checking on his tables. read more

Great food and staff was very nice. It's themed to the 80s inside and I really enjoyed that

Great breakfast place. Staff friendly and helpful. I have an apple/cinnamon Dutch Baby. The shell was cooked perfectly with great tasting filling. The side of bacon was thick and crispy just the way I like it. My wife had a bacon/sausage quesadilla. She enjoyed so much she made a copy for breakfast today. Parking is tuff. read more

This place is a hidden gem in downtown celebration. We came on a Wednesday morning. Quick seating, very nice waitress named Alice and the food was good. Only complaint was that the tater tots and home fries were not fresh at all. Borderline cold, probably sitting already cooked for a minute and then served. But my omelette was definitely made fresh to order. Veggie omelette was good and avocado toast was even better. They add some sort of lemon zest to the avocado and that made it ssoooo delicious. 100% recommend read more

Excellent breakfast!!! Had meat omelette was enormous. Mrs had veggie omelet with bacon inside. Waitress was excellent! Highly recommend

Dined at this sorry restaurant multiple times in hopes of having at least one good experience, since we lived in the town of Celebration. It was poor every time. Burgers, fries, and sausage are cooked from frozen and have no flavor. Our typical seating experience went something like 30 minute wait; followed by 20 minutes seated before somebody brings a menu and greets us; followed by waiting 30 more minutes for food to arrive after ordering. Food was usually cold or luke warm at best and, again, flavorless. Milkshakes look amazing and taste great, but they come in very thick shake glasses so you only get a few sips before your $5+ milkshake is gone. Won't be giving this place another chance. read more

Great place! I loved the view, the service and the food. Everything we tried was amazing. The waiter was helpful at the moment of ordering the food. I loved that they had gluten free options and vegan. the decorations were amazing, and the place had a good vibe! 100% recommend this place read more

We went today for breakfast. We live 3 minutes walking distance and always wanted to have a meal there. Unfortunately the receptionist and her manager did not allow us because we had our Service Dog with us and they forced us to seat where there was another dog. Despite our pet is a certified Service Dog, the two together were not working well. We asked to move for another table and she said in a rude way that we could not forcing us to leave the restaurant. I was disappointed in my visit here. I love diners and the ambiance said diner but the food and service didn't. The waiter ignored us most of the time as it was a down time with only a couple of customers there. The pastrami tasted good but the potato salad had a different taste and a brown color. It wasn't a bad taste it's just not what I expect from diner food. It's in an upscale area and would do well if not for diner name read more
