Really nice outdoor seating
Jason D.

Stopped in Sunday morning, was pretty busy. Sat right away. Had a miscommunication with the server and host so we sat for awhile lol all good, once we put in our order drinks and food were out in like 5-10 mins. Very fast, I had the biscuits n gravy platter. Comes with two eggs, breakfast meat(I got ham steak). The bowl of biscuits (like 3-4) was a huge portion. Coulda used a slight more gravy but very good overall. The eggs were cooked perfect and the ham steak was really good! Still lots of more options to try so I'll be back soon.

Omg 5 stars for the vegan breakfast options! I've been searching for a place near Disney (that isn't Disney) AND is open before 11 am! I finally found it, Eureka! Seriously though, the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious! We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday morning and enjoyed the heck of out of breakfast. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful day to sit outside

We have been a few times for breakfast. Enjoy the large menu choices and service. Very casual indoor/outdoor seating. Lots going on in Celebration all year round to people watch. This last time Carmen took great care of us. Say Hi! Some favorites are their Celebration platter, omelettes, burritos and pancakes. Enjoy!

Food was good & Marcus (our server) was wonderful. 1st time there but will be back. I got French toast with peanut butter, and friends got the Celebration Benedict. We shared a side order of bacon.

We got Buffalo chicken dip and the fried pickles, and mimosas! All so good. Also got the club which was great. The patio is dog friendly. The steak salad is also. Great! The service was amazing as well. They get you seated so quick! The ambiance is so cute as well inside. Only thing I didn't like is the Mac and cheese. The homemade chips are amazing.

Such a cute addition to Celebration. I love the old school diner feel with the counter and the decor. Speaking of decor, I visited during December when the whole restaurant was taken over by The Grinch, and it was adorable. We stopped in for dinner after experiencing the "snow" in the downtown area. For a table of 2 while it was pretty busy, we were seated right away. The service was quick. The sodas were massive. Fried green beans and Buffalo chicken dip was to start. I really liked the fried green beans and the dipping sauce. For entrees, we ordered the Steakhouse Salad and a Cheeseburger. The salad was fresh. However, the steak was overcooked. It was well. But like really well. Everything else tasted great, and I especially liked the croutons. The burger got good praises.

Decided to eat brunch while we visited celebration town. We got seated outside which was nice because there was a breeze and we also went on 4th of july so we saw them preparing for the event later that night. They were busy. We ordered the patty melt with tater tots and steak bowl. Def was not expecting the steak to be chopped up and not sure what type it is but I did not like it. My bf liked his patty melt though.

Famous Dutch babies - couldn't understand this plate - not tasfull at all

We had the am sandwich it was good, their home fries also good. We made the mistake of ordering the famous Dutch babies - this was awful not sure how to describe it. Service was top notch! Ambiance was cute but restaurant was dirty and we got seat it at the back by restrooms and it was incredible hot- air conditioning wasn't working. I might just need to try more things in their menu but based on today's I wasn't impressed to go back.

Downtown Diner (Celebration, Florida)

So it's been quite awhile since I've been to Downtown Diner. This is my first time eating breakfast, usually I would come for lunch. I am on the fence about coming back, as I was not impressed with the experience this time around. We tried WORLD FAMOUS DUTCH BABIES. It was like trying an interesting omelet with berries and whip cream. We did order the A.M. Sandwich with home fries. That was tasteful. The service was not bad. They sat us down pretty quick. However, I think the experience was not as desirable, as it appears that the back section where they sat us, the A/C was out, during a day when the weather was 94 degrees outside. Additionally, I felt the floor was sticky. The ambiance is designed a like a small town diner. I gave the place lower stars based on my experience this time around.

I've seen this spot appear to open and close a few times since the pandemic era... and it's been a favorite of mine each time! The vibe in here is the perfect cozy, classic diner feel, and they have plenty of options at an affordable price point. They serve all day breakfast, so naturally I went with a classic breakfast spread with a chocolate chip pancake on the side! The meal was what you want out of a diner breakfast - a good variety of options, good portions, and a solid pancake. I enjoyed my meal and so did the rest of my party! They also had a good amount of allergy friendly options for our gluten free friend. Service was friendly and we weren't rushed. I love this location and the food here!

5 Egg Omelette with grits and multigrain toast. Grits thick on top but very watery after the top layer was removed.
Johny M.

My omelet was overcooked and dry but it was good. For a $20 omelet I expected better. The grits were a little watery but delicious. A little thicker would've been better. The service was good. The ambiance fine.

The Dutch babies are the best I've ever had! I love going there! The staff are always great and it's decorated always cool, sometimes they put a theme in there for a while (like Haunted Mansion!).

Went with my family and it was super cute decorated for Christmas. Very attentive staff and the food was good and pretty big portions for a reasonable price. I'll definitely stop by again.

We had Sarah for our waitress both times. The first night, we had their special the miso salmon, and the rigatoni bolognese. We were offered "regular, bottled, or sparkling" water; we chose bottled, and were served warm water from a carafe style bottle with no ice. Rigatoni was tasty, but the miso salmon was burnt on the outside (inside was cooked well), bok choy was VERY salty from the soy marinade but was fine when paired with the pile of plain white rice (that I think was supposed to be a seasoned rice pilaf?). The second night, we again had the special of fettuccini alfredo with shrimp, and the pepperoni pizza with red sauce. We were offered the same for water - "regular, bottled, or sparkling". We chose "regular" this time and were still served the same carafe-style room temperature water without ice. The pizza was just okay and the crust was super chewy and tough, but the alfredo sauce was broken and the dish was a pile of noodles with clumped parmesan swimming in a lake of butter. The waitress did stop by to ask how everything was, but we had literally just been served our food. I did eat the shrimp, which were cooked nicely. I let our waitress know the sauce was broken and said I didn't want it to be remade as I already ate the shrimp. She reported this to the manager who came over and offered us a free dessert for the mistake. This was nice, but he took forever to come back with the dessert menu, and then never returned to see what dessert we might order, but attended another table right next to us several times while we waited. After 15 minutes waiting for him to even order a dessert and attending the next table 3 times, we ended up flagging down the waitress to ask for our check. Our waitress comped the Alfredo meal, which we greatly appreciated. Our waitress Sarah was a rockstar. She was working pretty much the entire restaurant and I actually heard her say to the staff "Is anyone going to help me here?". I saw her fill beers for guests behind the bar instead of waiting on the bartender. I saw her lead guests to a table with menus instead of the hostess. I also saw the manager and other staff just chilling by the kitchen area, making jokes and laughing, and empty tables needing to be cleared the entire time we were there, while we and other tables waited for just a refill of room-temp water. The restaurant was NOT full or super busy on a Friday night, so that says a lot. Also note, it's in very small type, but this restaurant adds 18% gratuity no matter the order or party size. We added an extra tip for Sarah the first night, but not the second, and I wouldn't be surprised if this restaurant splits that gratuity with the cooks and management who don't deserve it. Five stars for Sarah. One star for the rest.

The room itself was decent, maybe it needs some updating as it looked worn. The bathroom was massive with both a standing shower and a tub to soak in water. Amenities...obviously there's the swimming pool and you also get to use the amenities over at Signia, so that means you can use their lazy river. Shortly after arrival, we noticed what appeared to be blood on the bed comforter. We initially assumed housekeeping would replace the bedding during routine room service, so we did not immediately escalate it. However, after multiple housekeeping visits over approximately two days, the same visibly stained bedding remained on the bed and was never replaced. What upset us most was not just the stain itself, but the fact that housekeeping serviced the room multiple times and still left the bedding in place. This created serious sanitation concerns and made us uncomfortable using the room. We brought the issue to the hotel's attention at checkout and were offered only waived resort fees. We then attempted to resolve the matter through both the property and Hilton Guest Assistance. Despite multiple follow-ups, the final offer from Hilton was only 10,000 Hilton Honors points on a stay that cost approximately 140,000 points. I am posting this because I believe future guests deserve to make informed decisions regarding cleanliness standards and how serious concerns are handled after they are reported. I have attached photos documenting the condition before and after housekeeping service. UPDATE: I want to add that after additional escalation through Hilton's social media support team, Hilton ultimately reviewed the situation more thoroughly and issued a substantial points adjustment that I felt more appropriately reflected the seriousness of the concern. While I still wish the issue had been handled differently initially, I genuinely appreciated finally feeling heard and taken seriously. I think it is only fair to acknowledge that Hilton did ultimately make a meaningful effort to resolve the situation.

One thing I believe in is when a restaurant is consistently packed, that signifies the food is good. Along with other groups of people, I had to wait to be seated, but it wasn't for long. I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. The flavors from the apples was just enough and it was so ooey-gooey good. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed and I received satisfactory service. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant itself is pretty average in terms of decor and could definitely use a refresh, both in seating and overall appearance. Upon first impression, cleanliness was lacking in certain areas, which set the tone a bit. Once seated, a busser took our drink orders, and our server came by shortly after to introduce herself and let us know she'd return to take our order. After ordering, the food came out in about 20 minutes, which was reasonable given how busy they were. Portion sizes were generous, definitely more food than we could finish. However, service became inconsistent as we were attended to by multiple staff members, likely due to the rush. We experienced the longest delays waiting for basics like syrup, drink refills, and utensils after the food had already been delivered. As for the food, it was good but fairly average for a breakfast spot. While everything was prepared well, it lacked the standout flavor you'd expect after nearly an hour wait. Additionally, the women's restroom was noticeably dirty and not well-maintained, which was disappointing and reinforced the overall impression that cleanliness could use more attention.

That makes no sense to me but we were told they were having a hard time getting the fluff so they are moving to just marshmallows and this is across all stores. That drink was the main reason we would visit every time we were in a city that had one of these restaurants. We would also get one of their massive breakfasts to go with the coffees and we liked all the breakfast options. But that drink was the driver so I won't return.
