They charged me close to $400 in labor for fluid changes. Take a look at the itemized receipt attached. Either they charge you the second they put your car on the lift until you pick it up or does it really take them half a day at $100/hr to do engine fluid changes? Either way there was no explanation for their labor cost and I will not go there again. Positive note - They are extremely friendly and well-spoken. A typical call between Rick and I goes something like "Blah blah blah car stuff and information I should probably know about" and I say, "okay whatever is best!". That is the type of interaction where I could get scammed to an insane extent but Rick always has my back. I've dropped by car off many times when there was an engine light on or I just did not feel comfortable driving it, and it is typically repaired within the same day (and if not, within 2 days MAX). My boyfriend who worked as a mechanic eventually ran the numbers and said that Rick does really good work and is very honest and prices it reasonably. Through out the years, I've gotten the starter replaced, frequent oil changes, and my inspection. There has NEVER been an issue with Rick or his work.  As someone who could really only tell the difference between an SUV and sedan and poured coolant in my power steering the one time I tried to work on my own car (which shows how inexperienced I am and trust me, I've tried learning. Cars don't work well with my brain), Rick has always provided the absolute best work. I am located in Philadelphia at the moment, and I still will drive to Rick's just so I can support the business and go to someone I trust. I highly recommend!
