I love it's not that huge of a mall but they have just enough. Many selections to choose from and good service in certain stores. I feel that that the stores had many things that I did want and to look at! It was pretty busy for a Saturday but found parking. They also have a Buffalo Wild Wings here and other eating options. Good department stores too like JCPenney. -Marshay D.

Very disappointed with Stonewood Center…read more A week ago, my son took his family to Stonewood Center to enjoy a circus that was parked on the mall property. Unfortunately, while his vehicle was parked in the Stonewood parking lot, someone stole the tailgate from his vehicle. I honestly couldn't believe this could happen. My son works very hard for the things he has, and he was simply trying to enjoy a fun day with his family. Having his property stolen was extremely upsetting and completely ruined what should have been a nice family outing. This experience also made me question the overall security at Stonewood. I have noticed that security is often difficult to find, and when they are around, they don't always seem attentive. There have also been incidents of theft inside the mall, which makes me feel that more needs to be done to protect customers and their property. The restrooms are often dirty, and sometimes they are closed. There are also times when you see homeless people inside, and honestly, the overall atmosphere just doesn't feel comfortable or safe. It feels like you go in, get what you need, and leave as quickly as possible. I really think Stonewood Center needs to take these concerns seriously and improve security, cleanliness, and the overall environment for its customers. After what happened to my son and his family, I personally will not be returning to Stonewood Center. It's unfortunate because families should be able to enjoy a place like this without worrying about their safety or belongings.

The 2016 YELP 500, Review #135:…read more I created this entry/entity so that those who are traveling to the area, like myself, can easily figure out everything that is in this shopping center through one entry on Yelp. This helps out a lot when you have a whole bunch of people not from the area and you, perhaps, just come out of the movies. No one is ready to go home yet and everyone is hungry. The first thing you want is to know where to go. The last thing you want to do is Click 50 different places when you don't know the neighborhood. This could lead to frustration if everybody can't get what they want. Now enter the Downey Gateway Yelp entry. Once you read up on it and look at the pictures, you will realize that this place is pretty loaded with variety. From Burgers to Pizza. From Cajun food to sushi and even hummus. From fish to healthy grilled foods and there is even. Something dedicated to your sweet tooth for dessert (or anytime) - a frozen yogurt shop! Oh and we can't forget the other businesses that are not food related, such as Financial Partners, Adalies, Vanity, Allure & CrossFit. So I sincerely hope the Downey Gateway offers everyone something that they love. Sincerely, A guy from Florida that loves this place.

Plus a Crocs with a huge selection of charms and themed shoes inspired by movies and popular culture. The other department store is Macy's, a more upscale looking one. The Nordstrom jewelry salespeople do a great job of continuing to chat in a large group as customers shop. The handbag associate on the other hand was excellent and helpful. I also was surprised to see Aeropostale and Cotton On. I thought the former had gone out of business. My only complaint is the food court. Why is it tucked away in a corner down a separate wing? And I wish the crepe place also made savory ones.

This outlet actually has improved in my opinion and has really good stores with great deals. It is somewhat smaller than other outlets, but they do have all the popular stores that everyone knows about. I went into Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, and under Armour. They had really good prices and really nice things that actually I couldn't believe were on sale now. I do like that. It's easy to find the stores and you don't get lost like other outlets it's easy to park and they have a nice food court with variety. I do recommend here if you want to shop or grab a bite to eat or if you're in the area, they do have decent prices and good quality clothing with good name brand stores. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area again. -Marshay D.

I have been to Citadel Outlets probably like 30 years ago…read more My friend was visiting from Tampa, Florida and staying at the Double Tree Hilton, which is inside Citadel. When I found out, I said I am going to go and see her. I am glad that I did, and we were happy to see each other. So today practically all day, we spent some time together at this lovely, clean mall that is surrounded by so many great stores and eateries. There are probably over 130 stores and places to eat inside and outside the mall. Let me not forget to tell you, some of the restrooms that we used were SPOTLESS CLEAN!!! They have different stores such as Disney, Nike Factory Store, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Michael Kors, Guess, BOSS Outlet, Beauty and Specialty Stores, Tommy Hilfiger (one of my favorite designers & brands). Converse Factory Outlet, & Gap. Just to name a few. They have vending machines available with snacks and drinks. Also, a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Free parking and close to the I-5 freeway. We went to Gap and Converse, and I bought me 2 pairs of tennis shoes. Get one, and the other one was 50% off. Fantastic deal. From Gap, I got a nice, long, black jacket. Thin material and very comfortable. They also had clean dressing rooms at Gap. Every item has its own value and price. Both stores that we went to had great employees who were eager to help us. Customer service was above and beyond our expectations. We even had lunch at Panda Express. The list can go on and on and on. It has been like 7 years I haven't seen my friend. She used to live here, we used to work together, and then she relocated back to Florida to help her parents. It was a great outing, the only thing was that there was construction going on around the mall. Maybe they are building more businesses? Thank you all for everything. Always be & stay consistent!!

This Walmart, though, always has a trash whirling around in the parking lot. There are plenty of other stores and restaurants here mainly geared towards families. For the longest time, the parking spots really irked me - particularly those near Blaze, etc. Jaime G. recently posted some pictures saying they repainted the lines to make them larger, but I had to see it to believe it. Sure enough, they have three painted the lines as of 9/15/15! Everyone in South Gate drives a big gnarly truck or an SUV... or they just can't park period, so it was getting pretty frustrating. THANK YOU whoever made the final decision on getting it fixed. Security is usually driving around in a golf cart if you need assistance.
