The big food festival that happens every week is what initially brought me to the Row and there is so much to discover there. I also often come here to charge my Tesla ~ charging on Level 5. The Row opened almost 10 years ago on the edge of Arts District and is spread across 30 acres. As mentioned with the charging, they do have a parking garage which is really nice when coming here. And it's a nice garage, well kept and clean, free for 2 hours with validation. You never need to worry about parking when you come here! Like much of Arts District, it's kind of industrial chic vibes. It's an open-air spot with just lovely landscaping and seating all around. There are some excellent food options like Pikunico and Hayato, as well as Go Get Em Tiger for coffee needs. Very cool stores including concept spots and trendy clothing shops. And i'm def getting my next tattoo at Nonfromseoul. Aside from the brick & mortar shops and restaurants and weekly Sunday Smorgasburg, I've been to some other smaller cultural fests & pop ups here. It's always trendy and cute at ROW DTLA!

That being said, ROW DTLA is a dreamscape when it comes to filming content and just catching city vibes in a safe space. Located near the Arts District this space of buildings used to be utilized for the textile industry. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward. Good for a short stay or half a day, if you're looking for things to do in LA proper, ROW DTLA is worth your drive.

It is somewhat smaller than other outlets, but they do have all the popular stores that everyone knows about. I went into Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, and under Armour. They had really good prices and really nice things that actually I couldn't believe were on sale now. I do like that. It's easy to find the stores and you don't get lost like other outlets it's easy to park and they have a nice food court with variety. I do recommend here if you want to shop or grab a bite to eat or if you're in the area, they do have decent prices and good quality clothing with good name brand stores. When I found out, I said I am going to go and see her. I am glad that I did, and we were happy to see each other. So today practically all day, we spent some time together at this lovely, clean mall that is surrounded by so many great stores and eateries. There are probably over 130 stores and places to eat inside and outside the mall. Let me not forget to tell you, some of the restrooms that we used were SPOTLESS CLEAN!!! They have different stores such as Disney, Nike Factory Store, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Michael Kors, Guess, BOSS Outlet, Beauty and Specialty Stores, Tommy Hilfiger (one of my favorite designers & brands). Converse Factory Outlet, & Gap. Just to name a few. They have vending machines available with snacks and drinks. Also, a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Free parking and close to the I-5 freeway. We went to Gap and Converse, and I bought me 2 pairs of tennis shoes. Get one, and the other one was 50% off. Fantastic deal. From Gap, I got a nice, long, black jacket. Thin material and very comfortable. They also had clean dressing rooms at Gap. Every item has its own value and price. Both stores that we went to had great employees who were eager to help us. Customer service was above and beyond our expectations. We even had lunch at Panda Express. The list can go on and on and on. It has been like 7 years I haven't seen my friend. She used to live here, we used to work together, and then she relocated back to Florida to help her parents. While it was great to see only two empty storefronts, most businesses sell overpriced to super overpriced products to stay afloat. The mall is dated-looking, with a defunct water fountain, but the open second floor bathed in natural sunlight gives off soothing, chill vibes. The food court has about 9 places, mostly Korean but also a Vietnamese and Japanese katsu options. We ate fresh bi bim naeng myun (very chewy buckwheat noodles), ja jang myun (chewy noodles with black bean sauce and a nice amount of minced beef or pork), and fish cake on a skewer. Some places charge for a to go container and the cranky employee at the naeng myun place (the name's only in Korean, Kang San Myun Ok, refused to sell me to go in separate containers. Excuse me for wanting to separate the chewy noodles from the broth, as the noodles will lose elasticity from a long drive. The food court had many televisions broadcasting a World Cup match. There eating area is spacious with tables are cleared and wiped quickly. The outdoor dining are was closed the day we went. The supermarket is huge, organized and has the viral fruit-shaped ice cream that I adore, for $4.99 each. There's a Cake House bakery with mildly sweet Asian pastries and hot beverages. Their cakes are very expensive and beautiful. Cake slices are also sold. The mall has women's clothes, skin care, a bank, bookstore, children's toys, handbags and jewelry, and knick-knacks or collectibles. There's even a flower shop on a parking level right by the supermarket entrance. We were surprised to spend about 4 hours there. It's easy to spend a lot of time here as the parking is free! I will be back for the food and accessories in support of Korean-owned businesses.

There's an area where you can see about 3 floors of stores. I think the overall look of this mall is very pleasant and modern. There was also a recent pop up related to Pokemon in the middle of the mall which I think is really cool. I think there's a good amount of restrooms to find. Parking is free and there's lights to show if there's any open spots. I think one evening it was super dark and I was shocked that there wasn't any lighting and I found that to be pretty dangerous, but hopefully it's just because of the changing times of day. It's very family friendly and a good child playground, and also close by the 405 freeway which is very handy. Every time I'm here, I'm on a limited time to shop and browse!!!
