4++ open air concept houses some of the most respected and well known restaurants and food concepts in Los Angeles. I've been here multiple times now. By virtue having a few of the most popular restaurants in LA as well as Smorgasburg on Sundays, there is a large selection of food and eateries to experience. And also just want to know that the restaurants that have the Michelin stars here don't get their stars for not having good service. Because of the different levels of places here, there are places that fit everyone's budget as well as places where you go to splurge. I've been to Smorgasburg of course as well as Kato, Hayato, and Pizzeria Bianco among other spots and a big fan of all of them. My grip is that it is kind of on its own little island where you have to make this place a destination vs being integrated in to other popular areas in the city. There's a parking lot here that seems great but other times I've been here of Ashley parked on the street a few times to avoid the large crowds. And I was feeling particularly cheap. I will say, though if you decide to park out of the lot at night just make sure you feel safe. Thee is security that walks around, but it's also in a more industrial neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles.

** parking garage only** Huuge parking garage, weirdly empty. Honestly not much here except boutique shops in a maze. The bathrooms are clean and its gated. I wish they made better use of the real estate here, it'd be a really good place for shops/ coffee places or small unique concepts. They do have some cute boutiques but prices do be expensive and needs more food options. The parking garage is clean, well lit, the surrounding streets outside are a bit sketchy, but less than before. Security staff were super nice.

Came to The ROW for the DoorDash Pop-Up and Smorgasburg and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ROW kind of looks like what most people expect DTLA to feel like before actually visiting : clean, stylish, and industrial-chic. It's right next to the Arts District, so there's a cool creative vibe to the area. Had a lot of fun here! Bonus points for the 2 hours of free parking, which is rare for LA. There are a few cafes and shops around, but to be honest, it doesn't get much foot traffic except on Sundays. Most of the time (Monday through Saturday), it feels pretty empty. Still, definitely worth checking out if there's an event happening!

This was a fun converted industrial site (I think) that has multiple shops and eateries. To be fair we were there for Pizzeria Bianco but liked the whole area. Lots of retail shops and eateries abound and its a pleasant stroll through the area. There was ample parking and the area was clean. Did I mention Bianco?

huge parking structure free the first two hours.. where else in LA??

ROW DTLA feels like an oasis city within of LA! It is clean, safe, & well manicured- such a welcome retreat in the downtown area. So much to shop & eat. Honorable mention to the crave worthy chicken at Pikunico & adorable cardigans at Things Between. Add this to your LA itinerary- especially if there's a fun event hosted at ROW that weekend!

This place is kinda hard to find even though it's so large. Parking is good though, free for the first two hours and there's plenty of it. There's lots of shops in this little out door mall and a couple restaurants as well. I'm we heard about a pop up that was happening here. It was a grand opening of a new clothing store called Things Between so we decided to check it out. They had complementary drinks like iced tea and water. They also had complementary coffee and matcha! Such a fun treat while shopping. It was also Mother's Day weekend for they had lots of fun activities for families to enjoy. Overall it was a very pleasant shopping experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. Check out Things Between if yo tie in the area.

Today was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect. I know creators who come here to take pictures of themselves or products so I wanted to check it out. I was here actually for an event today, but was early so decided to explore. Ended up at a coffee shop and browsed at different shops. There's a huge selection of small shops. Places to sit and eat outside or drink a coffee and chat. It was very peaceful. DTLA does get a bad wrap, but this location is honestly so beautiful and peaceful. I definitely recommend. Security staff was very sweet and I loved the coffee shop I went to!

The row is a great place to visit in downtown LA if you know that there's an event that's happening with its borders. There are always things that are happening here - I've seen sample sales and promotional events for certain brands here. My primary reason for coming here are the amazing food options here. There is some restaurants here with serious rep including Kato (1 michelin star), Hayato (2 michelin star), Pizzeria Bianco (featured on Netflix' Chef Table: Pizza). Note: don't try to go to those places without a reservation. You could get decent coffee at Go Get Em Tiger, they have a nice craft liquor store here, and I also feel that the restaurant Pikunico is a hidden gem - their Japanese fried chicken sandwiches are amazing! On Sundays from 10-4, you can find Smorgasburg LA, which is a great daytime food market. The Sunday food market here often has specific themes and you should check online to see what's going on. I don't come here on random days - it's always for some specific purpose; however, it's a fun place to go, parking is covered for 2 hours on the weekend, and there are some places here that are really worth visiting.

We spent a chill afternoon here... shopped at Hightide (fun knick-knacks/clothing items from Japan), ate at Pikunico (Japanese fried chicken joint), hubby got chai and we window-shopped and enjoyed the sun & breeze... plenty of places to sit & relax :). 2hrs free parking also. def recommend for a laid-back hang w friends or your partner :)

Never been here before but I was going to a Chainfest Food Festival event and it was perfect space for it. It was outdoors. The only bad thing was the parking. It was a little crazy getting in the structure and very tight space as you go up and it winds up too so my friend has a stickshift Jeep and it was a bit scary since it was back-to-back cars. But i'm just glad it was covered parking since it was so hot that day. I know they're having a christmas market there so I definitely want to try that out.

Row Row Row your ROW gently downtown and street. Located on Alameda & 7th Street is this massive stretch of eat, play, shop and experience you won't want to miss... A blend of DTLA, NYC and a sprinkle of Chicago all rolled into one, not to mention featuring some amazing stores like APT 4B, Arcade, Joybird, Jonny Cota and Maum to name a few. Dublab & In Sheep's Clothing HiFi being one of a handful open all seven days of the week and a must stop in, any day of the week! It's a record store of music, books, clothing, and hi-fi equipment as well as some seriously cool accessories. It's very bright and open like so many of the places at row... Especially their... Open air spaces for tasting events, weekly farmer's market and of course LA's Sunday Funday Smorgasburg! Most days you can partake in some fun bites or sips at Sweetgreen, Pane Bianco (sandwich shop), Pizzeria Bianco, Pikunico (Japanese fast casual, comfort noms), Kato (Taiwanese), a seriously impressive list of stores to explore. Flask & Field being a guilty pleasure. I'm usually on the metro when downtown so I can control my impulse buying is that super cool wine & more spot. Definitely stop in! Note: they do tastings... including tequila O.O... I'll take one more tequila in that case lol. You can enjoy desserts (Cafe Dulce), make your body hurt good (Athletic Club, Coreology) and elevate your self care (Eddies, Powder Beauty nail care, Nova Arts, plus The Things We Do beauty concept bar). Also Pop Ups! Definitely a collection of culture and community that just happens to be a mall. Easy parking in their multi-level parking structure w/ access from 10 AM to 10 PM daily for your ROW adventures.

I don't think I go out of my way to visit the Grove, considering the distance and the difficulty of getting parking. Huge crowds, have to pay for parking, and even if you walk farther away, it's a risk to get towed and there's metered parking too that hit a 2 hour maximum, at least the last time I went there. Aside from accidentally wandering in here or being here for a specific event (seeing Yoshiki over a decade ago or the 20th anniversary Rilakkuma pop up, which was absolutely fisted with people), I've only wandered here on accident when hanging out with friends elsewhere. There's a good number of shops and eateries though, especially since it sort of shares the space/is right next to the Farmer's Market (great open area to go shop and to go dine). Large overlap of the same shops and eateries as the Americana, but there's things there that we don't have in Glendale. Lot of higher end businesses. Big fan of the La La Land Kind Cafe and what they do, their drinks, and their aesthetic. It's not a bad outdoors mall, considering how "fancy" it is, the fact that it's outside in the California sunshine, and the fountain with the Bellagio style musical water shows, but just know that the parking can get hideous.

Parking - One of the dealbreakers in my opinion. Especially during peak hours, it can feel like a maze here, you'll find that it's very easily to get lost here. Worse part is that parking is NOT FREE. However, there's parking validation but only specific stores. They don't tell you or list what stores give validation but even then, it's not for the whole duration and only for a specific time frame. A bit frustrating to deal with overall. However, there's plenty of good sides of the mall. The shops here are great, there's most of the stores that you'll find when it comes to luxury, and higher end shops. Ranges from Apple, Lucid, Tesla, Dyson, lululemon, Therabody, etc. The vibe here is very modern, lights up very nicely since it's a outdoor mall. It's very pretty here during the holidays, my wife and I came during Christmas to see all the holiday lights, Christmas Carols, and artificial snow, which turned out to our favorites. It was such a romantic and chill vibe, very cool to see this yearly. They often has collaboration events here such as these events, so be on the lookout for that. Food here is decent, over the years, they've added plenty of popular spots like Chick Fila, Shake Shack, but the staples here are most certainly Din Tai Fung, HaiDiLao Hot pot, Ramen Nagi, and plenty of other notable spots. I would say, they're all worthy to check out, just haven't had time to check them all out yet. Directory online and in person is very informative as well for the restaurants. Drinks wise, there's bars around the mall, but inside the mall, my go to here is Chagee Tea and Wushiland, both solid boba spots, Chagee of course is more trendy at the moment though. Very popular regardless. There's also Blue Bottle Coffee which I find very underrated. I absolutely love their Cascara Fizz, very much a soda like drink, definitely worth checking out as well.

I remember first coming here in 2003. They felt like true outlet stores, with heavily discounted merchandise. Today, it feels like a regular-priced mall. And many items are not cheap. For example, I was interested in a pair of jeans, but checked online, and Macy's was cheaper with their current sale! Several places had buy one, get one 50% off, so 25% off total, which you can find at a regular mall. There also used to be a larger variety of stores, especially in housewares. I would say 80% of the stores are now clothing or shoes. There is a Disney Outlet for toys, Samsonite for luggage, and Vitamin World. There are, of course, sunglasses. The food court is OK, but it gets very busy on the weekends. The only real sit-down restaurant is Ruby's. One thing to know: the cell phone reception is REALLY bad! Several locations have free wi-fi for customers, but I found a few required a password. Another not-so-smart thing is that the bathrooms near the food court have only 3 single-use bathrooms! There are larger ones towards the middle of the mall. But near a food court? Come on guys.

I even know the history of all the stores that have been there for a long time, as well as the ones that have closed over the years. I usually come here to shop for cosmetics and clothes, and I often have lunch or dinner here while shopping. With Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Nordstrom nearby at the Americana -- which I always end up visiting too since it's right across the street -- this area is truly a one-stop shopping place. Since I've shopped at many of the cosmetics and clothing stores here over the years, a lot of the sales associates let me know in advance by email or text about pre-sale events and gift-with-purchase promotions. However, last Sunday, April 26th, I came here shopping with my mother, and she lost her Gucci sunglasses. She went back today to look for them, but sadly, they were not in the lost and found. She probably misplaced them while trying on clothes in a fitting room. Actually, I also lost my Chanel sunglasses here twice a long time ago, and I still remember how upset I was back then. Since this mall gets very crowded, especially on weekends, I think things like this can happen more easily. One of the biggest advantages of Glendale Galleria is that parking is free. And because there are so many different stores all in one place, it's very convenient for one-stop shopping. But one downside is that whenever I call Macy's, it's incredibly hard to get connected to the individual departments. I really wish it was easier to get through to their customer service on the phone. Also, at some point, they got rid of the toilet seat covers in the restrooms near the Food Court, which I think is a huge downside.
