The person who answered the phone seemed dismissive and had an attitude when I was simply trying to report a concern and ask for assistance. When an officer responded, I experienced a similar attitude, which only added more stress to an already frustrating situation. Residents reach out to the police during stressful moments because they need help or guidance. Feeling brushed off or spoken to disrespectfully only makes those situations more difficult. A little patience and professionalism would go a long way in helping the community feel supported. I hope the department takes feedback like this seriously and works toward improving how calls from the public are handled. The community deserves to feel heard and treated with respect when reaching out for assistance.

Genuinely felt so disrespected because I can hear them all behind that room laughing and answering calls but no one could come out and tell me to come back or that it would be a while. I genuinely felt like they purposely didn't help me so that I would just leave. They made me feel like they invalidated my words because it wasn't "severe" to them. The man basically had the same kind of report to file too which made no sense as to why no one even bothered to speak to me. This made me feel so disrespected as I was in a vulnerable and emotional state and worked up the courage to even go in and report because ofc we all know the police never do anything but hey i decided to give them a break. The officer arrived and he got the information needed & we sent him the pictures of the car that committed the hit and run on us. My husband (slightly intoxicated), sister in law, & I were on our way to dinner before the hit & run & I offered to drive since I was sober. The officer never once followed up with me if he needed any more information, we still don't know what happened to the hit & run driver. Now on 10/20/2023 I received a citation, court summons, and proof of service via mail. Officer Jorge Lopez Badge #23193 committed perjury by signing a form stating that reads "On 5/28/2023, I served this notice of correction" on the proof of service form that he signed. I did not receive a citation or notice on 5/28/2023. I called you guys for HELP!

It wasn't precisely the exact cost but it was close. I arrived on schedule and it took about 5 minutes to get the finger printing lady to show me into a room to get my prints. It was fairly easy and quick and I was given a receipt and I was on my merry way. The front lobby was clean and open and people were professional. I'd come again to do the Live scan again if needed. Currently they are looking for police officers to fill positions so if you want to move laterally they'll pay you $20k bonus to do it.

Meanwhile we can hear the conversations and laughter of employees in the room next to the lobby (where the dispatchers are at). That was a bit disappointing since we just needed that release paperwork to get my car. Finally someone came out and asked if we'd been helped. Um no we haven't. So I provided the police report and my DL. 10 minutes later I was handed a paper that literally had my name written on and my DL # and license plate. That's it.
