Ended up at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino. There's several eateries within walking distance and a Marshall's and a Ross. The people are friendly. I'd visit again if I planned on visiting family near by.

Scared of driving to my house I drove to the bgpd to see if he would stop, HE DIDNT. Was blocking my way, reversing when I reversed , and driving when I did, but I managed to actually go inside their parking garage and talked to officer lopez, (my guess he was just starting his shift) explained that I was scared for my life and wanted to report it but he said there was nothing they could do and it wasn't that serious, claiming "we get girls coming here for that all the time, you're not the first and your not the last," REALLYY!??? shouldn't that be more concerning if it's constantly happening in this town?? And he even had the audacity to say that there was no crime committed, "he would have to shoot up a school for us to look into it" then I told him that he could look at the cameras since we parked in front of the station when he was blocking my way and harassing me, the officer said they didn't have access to them. THEN WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE CAMERAS. My taxes pay your damn salary, get your shit together BGPD, this is why nobody cares for blue lives.

You don't usually plan to spend your day at a sheriff's station, but life in L.A. has a way of…read morethrowing curveballs -- graffiti, broken windows, busted locks. So here I was, filing a vandalism report in a building that feels more like a waiting-room set piece from a crime drama than a "destination." The deputies at the desk? Friendly, professional, no nonsense. They listened, got the report down without making me feel like I was wasting their time, and even cracked a smile -- which, in law enforcement, is worth more than gold. The AC was blasting like salvation, a small mercy on a hot Los Angeles afternoon. The facilities were clean, functional, not glamorous but not neglected either. In a city where everything is either overpriced or falling apart, that alone counts as luxury. Sitting there, you realize stations like this are the real backbone of the city. Not the Hollywood lots, not the skyscrapers downtown. These are the places where everyday Angelenos bring their problems, big and small, hoping for resolution. It's gritty, it's real, and it matters. Cold AC, warm professionalism -- that's all you can ask for. Filing a vandalism report isn't anyone's idea of a good time. But this station made it painless, efficient, and human. Friendly deputies, professional process, and a building that doesn't make you feel worse than when you walked in. In a city of endless contradictions, this was a small moment of competence that actually gave me faith in the system.

It wasn't precisely the exact cost but it was close. I arrived on schedule and it took about 5 minutes to get the finger printing lady to show me into a room to get my prints. It was fairly easy and quick and I was given a receipt and I was on my merry way. The front lobby was clean and open and people were professional. I'd come again to do the Live scan again if needed. Currently they are looking for police officers to fill positions so if you want to move laterally they'll pay you $20k bonus to do it.

Yvonne Llamas was unhelpful and appeared unwilling to assist me from the beginning. Because I needed assistance in Spanish, another employee was initially asked to help, but when Ms. Llamas became involved again, the interaction continued to feel unprofessional and discourteous. I understand that public service employees can be busy and deal with many requests throughout the day, but members of the public deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. A more courteous attitude and a willingness to help would have made a significant difference. I hope management reviews this feedback and continues to emphasize the importance of providing professional, respectful service to everyone who comes in seeking assistance

The incident involved an Asian deputy (identified as Deputy Lang) and a white male deputy (described as approximately 5'7", 200 lbs, with blonde hair and sunglasses). While Deputy Lang conducted himself in a smart, professional, and courteous manner, the conduct of his partner--the blonde male deputy riding in the passenger seat--was entirely unacceptable and fell severely short of the standards expected of the department. My specific grievances regarding the passenger deputy include: Refusal to Identify: When requested, the deputy refused to provide his name and badge number, which is a direct violation of standard department policy regarding public accountability. Negligent Demeanor: The deputy was not wearing his seatbelt either before or after our interaction, demonstrating a blatant disregard for basic safety laws and vehicle codes that he is sworn to enforce. Dismissal of a Serious Threat: I attempted to report a life-threatening situation, to which the deputy dismissively stated that he "did not have time" and told me not to "waste his time." As a tax-paying resident, I expect a basic standard of quality, urgency, and professionalism from public safety officers--especially when life-threatening matters are being reported. The lazy and dismissive attitude displayed by this individual is a liability to the community and a disservice to the professional standards demonstrated by his partner, Deputy Lang. I request that Internal Affairs investigate this matter, identify the passenger deputy assigned to Deputy Lang during this shift, and take appropriate disciplinary action. I look forward to a response detailing how this matter will be addressed.
