We got here at 8:10am to obtain a vehicle release form to take back to Vernola's Towing Services so that they can release my car that was stolen a few days ago and it had been recovered around midnight. The lobby was empty and there is a sign to wait for someone to come help since the 911 operators have to answer calls and assist the lobby walk ins. We waited for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile we can hear the conversations and laughter of employees in the room next to the lobby (where the dispatchers are at). That was a bit disappointing since we just needed that release paperwork to get my car. Finally someone came out and asked if we'd been helped. Um no we haven't. So I provided the police report and my DL. 10 minutes later I was handed a paper that literally had my name written on and my DL # and license plate. That's it. That's pretty much the release form lol oh and the signature of the person that handed me the form. We were finally out of there. read more

Every time I come here , there's always long periods of wait time and never anyone to help nor acknowledge or instructions left.

They are the worst police station ever!! Not even in South Los Angeles. They actually do their job over there.I lived in LA for more than 20 years and they always did something. Norwalk Police Station always gives us excuses why they can't come or investigate a crime. Two guys trespassed into my backyard and we called them and showed them the video and had a name and address but they said all they could do was take my statement. They are lazy and unprofessional!! read more

A car hit my mom at Costco parking lot and just to make a report they took 4 hours to arrive we kept calling to get a time or arrival like every hour and everyone is so rude just because is the police they think they can do whatever they want and be rude. read more

The police here absolutely don't care about the city of norwalk. It seems as if they protect the criminals more than the the law abiding citizens. Every time we call them, which is hardly ever, they never help us the way we need them to. They merely brush us off, and what's led me to write this review today results from the lack of interest and aid we received after having a group of guys trespass our property, in which they tried going into our backyard. Actually, the guy was practically in our yard, crawling on our dividing wall. Police didn't do anything. The two officers showed up about twenty minutes later and as we were giving them our statement, with clear video evidence, they interrupted us, saying they had to attend to another emergency. They said they would come back but never did. The thieves are still roaming the streets. My family doesn't feel secure and heard by this police station. read more

If I can rate it 0 stars I would because someone stole my husbands tools they took $4,000 worth in tools alone I called to report it and deputy Alatorre took days just to file the report I provided model numbers and serial numbers then when I found some of the items listed for sale on Facebook marketplace at a pawn shop in Whitter I called the station so they can help me get them back to which they haven't done so and now one of the tools has been soled I called again and said they aren't going to really do anything about it since I didn't provide serial numbers to which I said I did and he said he can hand the report to a deputy but doesn't guarantee anything will be done about it read more

They guys are really friendly here. They came into my house and arrested me in a orderly fashion. The arresting officer was cool and the lady officer inside was super nice, she even told me when my mom arrive at the station.. 10/10 stars. Would definitely recommend this station. read more

Velazquez is so weird and rude...I called and asked a general question and she gave me attitude. So pathetic and unprofessional

Horrible and unlawful woman police officer towed my truck with out any notice. Wasnt given a proper 72 hour notice, truck registration wasn't passed 6 months, wasn't parked in front of a drive way or fire hydrant. Coo pretty much towed it in a power trip. When I questioned her she threaten to arrest me. Such a rookie cop you can tell. She was upset because I knew my rights. Worst part about it I kept calling the sherif station and they hung up on me 5 times in a row. WAY TO PROTECT AND SERVE. No wonder why so many people have a negative view of policemen, they abuse their power. Sad our tax dollars are going to waste read more

luckyly, I rarely have had to use them, there was a party by me on a Monday night. they kept going past 12.30 am. I called numerous times and got hung up on and told by a Deputy that Norwalk does not have a noise ordiance that he was aware of. so apparently it's party time in the city and you can make all the noise you want. ridiculous. I did see them come out once, but it did not stop the party goers. read more

The lady on the phone who is the responder is very rude. I told her that there were fireworks and disturbances in my neighborhood that were going off like crazy and they don't do anything about it. Horrible. As I was on my way to morning Bible study I got a citation. I stopped. I seen the officer, there was no other cars or even pedestrians around and I still got a ticket. I'm so behind on bills and as a family of 3 were struggling to get by and cannot afford this 250 dollar ticket. Or the 60 bucks for traffic school because we already can barely afford our car insurance as it is. But hey as long as people can shoot up fentanyl and smoke meth out in the open all along pioneer Blvd it's all good. I am always calling reporting the homeless and they never show up. The sheriff department is ran by evil wicked men and women. read more

I hope you're proud of yourselves towing a single parents vehicle, one with a disabled child as well. A simple citation would have been enough. I was only parked there one hour, you people and this entire state must be money hungry and greedy as heck. Why not steal from the rich people? Oh wait..you do that already. I saw here how you treat people, not just me, the other people in there as well. Shady as heck, I hope you enjoy the money you stole from me and the 6 other people there who were also towed. Hey more power and money to you. During the 2.5 hours I was there waiting to be helped, I saw several deliveries, 10 boxes of pizza, cold stone creamery and pastries, wonder who pays for that? Must be nice. read more

Soooo bad so bad went in to file a report and when I got there people were saying they were there for hooours and no one was helping them. They would get a zero if that was a rating. I can't tell you how many times I've called for a noise complaint or loud parties. They say they'll get a unit out there. But they never do. And when you call, they make you seem like you're an inconvenience and that they don't want to be bothered. And then they turn it around on you as if you're the problem. Maldonado, the supervisor of the front desk, is very condescending and lacks empathy. We had an Incident last night someone was running on my roof. I heard it so did my husband. We called 911 to report it. Sheriff department acted quickly we had about 6 sheriffs s and a helicopter to check. We were very happy and blessed with their quick service. I really don't like to call and bother them because of all the unrest about police officers. But I am so ever grateful for them. I ask God to protect them in doing their job. Thank you very much. read more

To whom it may concern,  On August 30th around 10pm, deputy B. Lopez came to my building in response to a vandalism call that my apartment security made against Bryan Sampson.  My husband and I made a report with deputy B. Lopez stating everything that occurred that night of the incident. We thought that a report was made and a warrant was placed on the suspect, however when we looked online to see if the suspect was arrested we discovered that his charges were for kidnapping.  There were no indications of any vandalism charges.  We decided to contact the Norwalk sheriff station to ensure that the charges were placed against the suspect. We soon discovered that the report number deputy B. Lopez provided to us was never filed, and there are no records of the incident. (Report : 918-12989-0455-263). I was then transferred to deputy Rodriguez voicemail.  To know that we're not protected by the Norwalk sheriff's Station, brought us so much fear and anxiety knowing that Deputy B. Lopez did not do his do diligence to serve and protect us. We have been looking over our shoulders ever since the night of the incident Living in fear, which is no way that any tax paying citizen should live.  In conclusion, we look forward to your feedback in how situations like this will be prevented in the future. It is not fair to society if officers can pick and chose which reports they decide to file. Thank you for your time and consideration. read more

Beware of deputy Bendezu On 8/27/19 I did a u turn into the 7/11 on Leffingwell and Valley View deputy bendezu was behind me when I did the u turn @ no point did he turn on his lights, when I drove into the 7/11 I didn't see him go right behind me,as I was getting out to put gas he decides to turn on his lights @ that point I was @ the rear of my car then he rushes up to me saying "what are you doing" I told him I'm putting gas @ no point did I react aggressively nor did I act like I was going to run, bendezu then puts me in cuffs and says I'm detaining you for speeding. I told him "get your supervisor out here" bendezu then says it doesn't work that way,I had to ask 3-5 times for his supervisor, then he puts me in his car then clearly calls for back up not for his supervisor but back up 10 deputy's later finally his supervisor gets there, so bendezu sites me for illegal lane change, speeding, tint and no insurance wich I clearly have in my wallet but how can I show it when cuffed. bendezu told his sergeant that he cuffed me for a legal knife I had on me when I told him I had it,I was wearing a long shirt clearly covering the knife clipped to my pocket I told his sergeant in front of bendezu and 6 deputies that bendezu clearly just cuffed me for speeding and the way he handled the situation was uncalled for,I clearly told the sergeant that bendezu needed to be re trained and that was going to talk to an attorney because he clearly violated my rights, also not that it will matter I would file two complaints against bendezu with the department and attorney general. Again beware of deputy bendezu as he will cuff you for no reason but simply a traffic stop then will cry wolf by calling for back up wasting everyone's time. read more

They don't do much when you call for a matter but when it comes to a street sweeping ticket the whole department is here such a shame and here I am paying taxes for there wages and spending the night on my front yard with my gun protecting my own property since no one response at the time of the matter even several hours at time fml hopefully they don't put me behind bars for doing their job .family is first for me read more

Worst ever, so thanks to 2 officers and Deputy Supervisor Moreno 11/19/19 a neighbor of ours was delivered our package, we find out and approached today with open package returned and 2 items missing and MY MOTHERS NAME ON IT, returned the other 2 after approaching neighbor after 15 minutes of officers harassed my mother as if she's a lair and needed proof she purchased the 4, so in the end they say she didn't steel it it was deleievered in her address, so guys we can start keeping and opening packages that don't have our name on it as long as it has our address! I've been here twice for information only and have encountered approachable staff. I like that they have two parking spaces in front available to meet people you sell something to like on offerup or letgo. I'm sure the station is nice and clean, but the young lady that works at the call service is rude and lazy and needs to be replaced with someone else who is more prompt in answering the phone line and is more professional. Obviously the lady that is already there doesn't want to be there, and doesn't want to be working Friday nights at 11pm. Please hire someone else. I called the station and it took at least 45 minutes for officers to get on-scene. Like...seriously? Not only this, but I had to call 3 times before the lady actually said: "Oh yah, um...okay, thank you. What was the address again?" #1: Shouldn't you have the location already? #2: Why do I have to Google the address? #3: Stop Facebook stalking your friends and do your job. read more

Everything you have heard is true. Norwalk Sheriff's Station has the worse customer service ever. I called for a loud party on my block and they said it would take about 3 hours for an available unit to stop by. They are a joke!!! The people here are so twisted. My car got towed for not having my smog check done even though I paid for my registration. No matter the situation, my car got towed and they were telling me to pay this and that, and was given false information! I followed instruction on how to get my car back from the tow and despite driving all around they were missing key information that the tow company needed! They didnt want to give me my car back because of the rookie officer who didnt know what he was saying! So I'm here driving back and fourth on my only day off trying to get my car. They're so smart on how to get your money. They also have an attitude too! They dont give a damn about justice or the people. I used to respect cops but now I understand people. read more

i just want to say people should be thankful for our sheriff's dept in norwalk. the way people have treated all law enforcement officers is just awful. i blame all these liberal democrats that are destroying america . and our radical news media that won't stick up for all our police officers all over america. it is shameful that all these dirt bags have more rights than our police officers that are trying to protect the citizens. it is a wonder that any police officer wants to be one in this awful society of today. if a sheriff seems to be unfriendly it is because of the actions the public takes on. their is no respect at all for any police officer. and they have to take the crap you low life people hand out. so if you want help from our sheriffs dept show some kindness and respect first before you come in and start your shit. your lucky to even ave a sheriff's dept you can come to or call in need. . if most of you hate our officers please call your gang friends for help. not our great deputies that put their life on the line everyday for some low life to kill them.enough said read more
