I truly don't have enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Shashoua. He literally saved my…read morelife and has continued to go above and beyond for what has been a very complicated and emotional journey with stage 4 endometriosis and infertility. I first met Dr. Shashoua after a failed embryo transfer that left me septic, internally bleeding, and in critical condition. I was so sick that I didn't fully understand what was happening -- I was truly dying. Dr. Shashoua stepped in with the urgency, skill, and calm confidence that only an exceptional surgeon can bring. He performed the emergency operation that saved my life, and I will forever be grateful. After stabilizing me, he did something that shows how deeply he cares about his patients: he referred me to a far better fertility doctor because he knew I needed more specialized and attentive care than I had previously received. That referral changed everything for my fertility journey. A few months later, he performed my endometriosis excision surgery and removed my tubes. These were major, life-altering procedures, and he approached every decision with precision, empathy, and extraordinary expertise. I now see him regularly to monitor and manage my endometriosis and infertility, and he continues to provide the highest level of care. What sets him apart is how closely he works hand-in-hand with my fertility doctor, ensuring that every aspect of my treatment is coordinated. My case is extremely complex and often overwhelming, but he has never once made me feel like a burden. He treats me with compassion, respect, and true dedication. If you have endometriosis, fertility challenges, pelvic pain, or any complicated gynecologic or urologic condition, Dr. Shashoua is the doctor you want in your corner. He is an extraordinary surgeon, an exceptional physician, and someone who genuinely cares about his patients' lives and futures. I owe him mine.

Was sent to UroPartners at the LaGrange location by my regular doctor because of a high PSA result…read more The doctor at UroPartners said my test result had gone up so he requested I do an MRI to check the prostrate. The MRI showed a suspicious area, so the Dr then requested a biopsy of the area. He informed me over the phone that I would be contacted in a few days to set up the biopsy appointment. Days passed and no contact. My calls to the office only went to an automated system. So, I've been told I need a biopsy which is bad enough and then no way to set it up. Furthermore, they never give you any paperwork of the visit or results. Find a Urologist who cares about their patients.

Men need to do a prostate checkup just like women do their mammograms…read more The dr I've seen before Dr. Yonover was busy for months but Dr. Charles Hughes was able to see me. The building is 2 stories. U can take the elevator or the stairs. Only 2 offices there. Upon entering I placed my name on the patient waiting list. About 5 minutes later a guy called me for my id and insurance cards which I gave him in his hand, he made copies then placed them on the countertop...1 of my pet peeves and it costed a star for unprofessionalism. Next time give cards back to people in their hands. I waited another 5 minutes then the assistant Natalie took me into room & went over some info. I waited 31 minutes for Dr. Hughes. I started to ask what was up then he appeared. He stated he had an issue with someone. Hmmmm. I'll let this time slip. We went over situation, history. He seems like he's in his 30's or early 40's. Smiled a lot which kinda bothered me versus when a seasoned dr is emotionless but he was nice, paid attention. The office was clean. The waiting room smelled great, very refreshing. Would I recommend? I prefer Dr. Yonover's vibe better but Dr. Hughes wasn't bad. I will follow up next year. Preventive is key to any prostate issues guys.

The waiting room is extremely pleasant and comfortable. I came to see Dr Khan as a recommendation from another health care provider. She came in highly recommended and is a true gem. Dr Khan is really thoughtful, organized, efficient and professional. As a physician I appreciate her willingness to be flexible and available to meet my needs. It does help that she has a very personable personality and her nurse practioners are very kind as well. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for outstanding and comprehensive medical primary care in the Loop/South Loop/Downtown Chicago!

Dr. Khan served as my niece's primary care physician. She was evaluated on two occasions--July 2025…read moreand December 2025--during which she reported a palpable breast lump. On both visits, she states that she was reassured the lump was non-cancerous and "likely a cyst" based on clinical examination alone, and no imaging or biopsy was recommended at that time. Following my niece's persistence after the December visit, Dr. Khan provided a referral for imaging. That imaging led to a diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She subsequently required a lumpectomy with lymph node biopsy (one lymph node tested positive) and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, with radiation therapy planned. Her life changed completely ! This experience raises serious concerns about whether appropriate diagnostic steps--such as earlier imaging or referral--should have been considered, particularly given persistent symptoms across multiple visits.

She gave me a Pap smear while I was having my period, which I knew would skew my results. At the time, I questioned her, she told me my fears were unfounded & not to worry. It was perfectly fine to do a Pap smear while I was having my period period. She then called me saying that based on my Pap smear results, I needed a uterus biopsy. I went to my OB/GYN, who told me she never should have done a Pap smear while I was having my period. Thousand of dollars later after a very painful biopsy of my uterus, I found out that I was fine and it was all unnecessary because of the Pap smear during my period. I went back to Dr Wallner and told her what my OB/GYN said & the results of my uterus biopsy, and she bristled and was very irritated. She does not like to be questioned. I also went in for a physical and didn't even undress. It was a 10 minute procedure and she was very cold and short with me. I did not feel like it was thorough physical compared to others I have had previously,. No breast exam, etc. She also referred me to a terrible cardiologist, who would not listen to me. Despite being at the correct dose (per *some* bloodwork), I was regularly cold, sometimes anxious, quick to go from not hungry to starving, and sometimes lethargic (despite living a very active lifestyle). After just two appointments with Dr. Simms and additional biometric (blood and saliva) testing, we both came to the conclusion that not only was I working against my thyroid by way of the foods that I was eating, but I was also suffering from iron and vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, I had moderate hormonal imbalances. These weren't far-fetched, non-Western conclusion, but founded in more accurate interpretations and more complete biometrics. The "prescription" was a variety of supplements to address deficiencies and excesses. I appreciate that Dr. Simms did not push me to buy the supplements offered at her clinic, as this would have been a turn-off for me. Through some research, I was able to meet my nutritional and supplements needs in an affordable way. I have not yet had my biometrics re-run, but I know that I am better off. I sleep better, feel better (mood and energy), am no longer cold, and more relaxed. I highly recommend arranging for a consultation with her and bring any existing blood work results to support your discussion. Though she was not covered by my insurance, she was well-worth the cost. And, I was able to pay for my bills with my medical savings account.
