I just drove down to Bondy's from Decatur, GA on MLK day to purchase a used car on their lot (and…read moredrove back that same night). Since I originally found the deal on autotrader.com, I had email contact with their customer service reps, Courtney and Anna. Both were helpful, and Anna went through the trouble of talking to the manager to get their final offer price with taxes included to tell me over the phone before I decided to drive down. Chris Prather was the salesman who helped me with the test drive and purchase. Professional, friendly, and knowledgable, he made the buying process very smooth. Because I traded in my old car, I had to wait a while for an appraisal to be done. Everything was done fairly, and out in the open. They go through a carfax report with you, as well as a kelley blue book report so that everyone is clear on where their offer price is and how/why it's relatively reasonable. Growing up in the 80's and 90's, going to car dealerships was always a pain because you felt like you were always being ripped off in one way or another because you couldn't see certain costs incorporated into the final price. It's so much better working with dealers like Bondy's. No nonsense, friendly, open, and relatively efficient. (I did end up spending about 4 hours there). The finance manager was even named Michael L.....same last name pronunciation, but different spelling. :-) If you're buying from out-of-state, make sure you bring your title and registration! :-)

Very Disappointing Repair Experience…read more I own a Troy-Bilt Storm 2410 snow blower that I purchased around 2020 or 2021. After using it for one winter season, I was unable to start the engine the following year, and the snow blower sat unused in my garage for several years. In 2025, I looked for engine repair services in Rochester, Minnesota. This business appeared among the top recommendations, and its online ratings and reviews gave me confidence in its reputation. Based on that information, I decided to have them repair my snow blower. After the repair, I used the snow blower once during the following winter, and it worked fine on that first occasion. However, the second time I tried to use it, the engine backfired immediately after I started it, leaving the snow blower unusable again. I was shocked and extremely disappointed that this happened so soon after the repair. When I contacted the business, I was told that the engine had another problem that might require additional repairs. I was also asked to pay another $40 pickup fee. I understand that mechanical repairs cannot guarantee that a machine will never develop another problem. However, having the snow blower become unusable again on the second occasion I tried to use it--and immediately after starting the engine--was very frustrating. I was particularly disappointed that addressing the problem could mean paying for additional repairs and another pickup fee. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I am dissatisfied with the outcome.
