I had selected 2 frames and asked if they had any other suggestions and tried several other frames. I purchased the first frame I selected and I'm very excited to receive my order next week. I went today to the Cape Opticians location on Route 132 Hyannis to see if they could help me. A very pleasant lady took them and returned not more than a few minutes later and had me try them on. So we scheduled our appointments online and we picked the times that worked for us and what was available. The equipment is used for the compressive eye exam is very modern and high tech. Everyone was very nice, friendly and professional. We would highly recommend using this service for your eye exam. There are special offers, and deals on glasses and contacts. The prices for contacts are the best we have found as well. The cost for the eye exam is very reasonable. Of those 70 or so frames, half of them cannot get the deal because there has to be a rim all the way around and the plastic lens will chip if it is rimless so you can't get the deal. My appointment on June 10th, 2025 did not go as smoothly as usual as far as the scheduled time…read moresituation.I arrived a few minutes early for my 10:15 A. M. appointment. At 11:15, when I had not been called in for a technician, I became concerned and went to the front desk to notify them that I had no communication regarding my appointment. A very kind and concerned OCB employee followed me to question a technician who had not received any information about my appointment and it was surmised that there had been a glitch in the system. I was told I could wait longer or reschedule, but a very sympathetic technician intervened and agreed to prepare me for my exam. Tayla Gimblett went out of her way and added to her already busy schedule to accommodate me. Tayla was professional and kind and she should be commended.
