Wow, Amazing service and great price. Invited three plumbers until I found Dovis Plumbing, The other three, One did not speak English, the other two wanted to replace my entire pipe line. When Dovi came he found the problem, was honest enough to tell me that it is a minor problem that he can fix for less then half of what the other once wanted to charge. He just became my number 1 plumber in the world!!! Very recommended. read more

This company came to my unit, hired by the association, and yes, they fixed the pipe issue; however, they damaged my tile floor, and now they don't want to be responsible for the damage. I have spoken with David. He mentioned he spoke with the guys who did the work and confirmed that when they stall the toilet, they damage the flood, but he is not giving me any solutions. read more

Thankyou so very much to the guys at Dovis plumbing, who were exceptionally polite from my first phone call with Antonio to David who removed a small towel from our toilet!!!! Professional and very understanding- most importantly he did the job quickly and without any fuss . Our family has been using Dovis plumbing for a couple of years now . They have expert plumbers like David who know how to treat and solve issues . I'm very grateful and highly recommend them. Thankyou David and Antonio!!!! read more

After several calls and discussions for a very small plumbing project David accepted the work then proceeded to waste 3+ weeks to come to do the work ( replumbing 2 small bathrooms). After committing to do the work for an agreed upon price he stood me and my business up. I am now in a predicament where my work is being delayed due to David Dovis' unprofessionalism. I would highly recommend NOT using Dovis plumbing as they are not professional and do not keep their commitments. DO NOT USE!!! read more

Man oh man! What a stand up guy! My water heater was leaking and I didn't want to chance my skills against something so necessary (to a point) as a water heater. Dovi came out...on Halloween!!! Pulled the old water heater out and sure enough, it was split. He scored a brand spankin new one and slapped it in certainly in less time than what I could have. The soldering looks phenomenal! Ok, so you know he can do work, but how was he personally? Super rad! Super friendly, easy to talk to. I'm not one to hover when someone is doing their work but I say I'm the garage, mainly out of boredom, and we just chatted. AND!!! He even let me take a goofy Halloween picture with me as a Care Bear while he's working. (Again, boredom!) He's a straight shooter and won't tell you to go maximum size water heater just because. Way friendly and an all around good guy! Would definitely call him up for projects I'm geeked out about in the future. read more

Professional and competent services by friendly and knowledgeable plumbing technicians. The response to our urgent need for service was fast. I strongly recommend Dovis. They have COVID precautions in place and according to the techs themselves they are being tested weekly. Oh, and did I say that their charges are very reasonable for the work they do?! They are. Thank you Dovis! read more

Absolutely amazing professionals. I contacted them after pretty much gutting my house and needing a lot of plumbing services. They were responsive, came within a few days of my call. Mark took time to walk me through all the work pre and post. Can't say enough about what a great experience it was. read more

Dov is a professional Plummer no question in my mind , I have a bad sink clogged and came in the same day and I have recived a text messages with updates on when he will arrive , He did show up on time and used a machine to fix the issue and it was the 2nd expensive option however he was right at market prices if not actually less then others I spoken to before I hired him. Bottom line he shows up with a young man he long him and that young man was super Helpful and super smart. I would definitely recommend and use their device again if ever needed. Paid with Credit card and got my an email with the entire transaction. read more

Dovi was very courteous and approachable. I needed a gas line ran into the kitchen so i can install a new stove. He came out puncutally and gave me a quote. Then we brainstormed and found a way to do it differently and got requoted. He was done in less than two hours and did a tremendous job, very clean as well. Totally recommend his business to anyone in need on a good plumbing service. read more

I had a plumbing issue in my kitchen and I had paid $2000. to a previous plumber who replaced rusted pipes but never corrected the problem of residual water backing up in my sink . I consulted with Dovis plumbing Co. who came out and performed a camera analysis of my kitchen sink and connected plumbing in which I paid a $400. nonrefundable fee. They identified that there was a 1 inch gap in the new PVC pipes and the rubber PVC flexible coupling. Dovis Plumbing quoted me a remaining balance of $3900 to create a clean out drain and fix the PVC problem that was a total of $4300 for repairs. They were supposed to correct the problem they identified but the only thing they did was the camera analysis and created a cleanout drain they never repaired the 1 inch gap in the PVC pipe that was identified. The worker contacted David the supervisor after he had completed the cleanout drain and never corrected the PVC gap issue and David the supervisor stated that will be an additional $600. to replace the coupling and I was upset because that issue was supposed to be resolved in the initial work that was quoted for a total of $4300 (that is $400.00 consult plus $3,900.). I didn't agree with the additional $600. and I asked if it could be discounted to $300 and he said no several times, because you told me it would be $4300. for everything and he said no and my kitchen floor was left with the floor busted up in front of my sink and dishwasher and a dirt pile 2 feet high with the drainage system exposed in the foundation of my home for 3 months with spiders and insects coming into my home. I had to pay a 3rd plumber to come and finish the work. It was a disaster. David the manager of Dovis plumbing did not care I had spoken to him on 3 different occassions to resolve the problem in which he never did! He did not care. I will never use their company again! read more

Very knowledgeable and nice people. Willey did a great job, he was quick and very professional. David is very patient explaining everything about the project. The whole job was done without problems. read more

As a contractor, I have a pretty good sense of what to look for in a tradesperson, and what to run from. Dovi has it all. He speaks knowledgeably about his trade, understands complex problems, is clean and efficient, and can handle sudden changes. I had Dovi solve a difficult problem with some existing plumbing in my bathroom. There were specific aesthetic and material requirements, I had already built a third of the project and wanted what I'd built kept, we were shutting down water supply to an entire apartment complex on a time limit, and best of all, I was going to be in the next room the entire time the work was happening. Dovi handled it easily. My bathroom looks great. No surprises, no mistakes, no change orders. First class, five stars. read more

Found this company on yelp and they were available right away to replace a leaking pipe and other plumbing issues we were having. Their prices were reasonable and the plumber was a pleasure to deal with. read more

Called these guys Wednesday morning and left a message inquiring about cost and services. Within an hour, they called me back, and within 3 hours they were here and working on it. Total came to $299 for about 30 minutes of service on my bathroom and kitchen sinks. Is that expensive? I don't know anything about plumbing pricing and services, but I know that my bathroom and kitchen sinks are now fully functional and no longer flooding. I also know that Dovis was super friendly and accommodating. I felt like he cared about doing a good job for me. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

There was a small appointment SNAFU so I expected poor service. I was very pleasantly surprised. I don't know much about plumbing but I can tell when someone knows what they are doing rather than fumbling around. They were organized, professional, courteous and most importantly to me methodical while answering all my questions. I appreciated how thorough they were and how they let me know I would need to replace some other piping in about a year or so. Can't really say much else about them. Use them, they're great. read more

These guys are so great. They came out to us last minute (we called day of), and they did a good, clean job on our leaky sink. They also had to replace a few valves under the sink, and I was grateful to have professionals working on our 100+ year old pipes. They gave me a fair price, and I am going to have them return in a few weeks when I have our bathroom vanity replaced. Thank you, Dovis!! read more

My hot water heater was broken, i called Dovi and he came out to see it that day. He told me he would arrive between 1-2pm and arrived at exactly 1:30, perfect! He then went out and sourced a replacement heater and was able to remove the old one and do some amazing feat of plumbing to make it fit the space. Dovi also took the time to insert an apartment shut off valve which it didn't have before should any leaks occur I could mitigate damage. I found Dovi on Yelp this morning and very happy that I did, we now have boiling hot water and a superb plumber to call upon when needed. read more

Incredible service!!! Dovy arrived within an hour of my calling. I received text message updates to confirm and then to let me know that he was on the way. He fixed everything within 7 min! I couldn't be happier! read more

Received estimates online on Yelp for toilet wax seal replace due to leakage. When prices were quoted all were between $240.00 and $250.00. Dovis did not issue an online price quote but I figured it would at least be in that price range and all companies (including) Dovis were many- starred recommends. When I called they advised there was a $45.00 estimate fee that would be deducted from the job if hired. I seriously needed it repaired and again figuring the above price range quoted from other companies was reasonable I had them come out. The plumber (Willie) was prompt, courteous and professional but I was more than a little shocked when he quoted a job price of of $381.89 for the job. As I had already taken the day off (and in addition would have a $45.00 estimate bill to pay if I declined the repair) I reluctantly went ahead with it. Willie did a competent and efficient job but having to pay more than a third more than the going rate to Dovis for his services was not a pleasant thing for me. I will not consider their services in the event of any future plumbing issues. read more

My experience changed as Dov can and fixed the issue, thank you

I called a few plumbers and most didn't seem trustworthy and knowledgeable. I reached Dovi's plumbing on the first ring and he was able to explain what needs to be done. I have two hot water heaters and one broke. He installed a shut off so that in the future either one can be turned off if in need of repair and he replaced the broken one. All of the work was completed the next morning after I called. Excellent service, timely and very fairly priced. I highly recommend this company. read more

Dovis was fast to respond to a quote request. Asked to provide more information and gave me sufficient information to make a decision. His quote was competitive and offered additional services and options that made me feel comfortable with the cost. The service was professional and kept everything clean. In addition to the service they were hired, he also offered to correct it for a price. I would recommend for service. Looking to use them in the future for additional services (ie: tankless water heater). read more

Dov was responsive and reliable. He was able to fix he problem within hours of my call. My tub was clogged and a snake didn't work. Unfortunately, he had to break the wall to repair it, which increased the cost. Overall, it was a reasonable price. He was fast and clean. Thank you Dov. read more

Finally a plumber that shows up on time, does the job right and doesn't give excuses. Thanks super recommended!

I'm so happy to say that I finally found a good Plumber! I had Dovis Plumbing come to my house 3 times to resolve different problems I was having and they arrived promptly, were professional, respectful, worked diligently, and solved the problems I was having. Any woman who reads this will know how difficult it is to have a contractor of any kind come into their home (because typically they will not listen to you), but Dovi listened to my suggestions and it all worked out. Like any plumber the costs are high, but I think they are competitively priced even so. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I highly recommend them. read more

It's rare to find a contractor today who is a professional. I had a complicated problem with an old bathroom and the pipes. The pipes needed to be replaced and it was not an easy job. New pipes needed installed inside my walls across several rooms. From the beginning Dovi was a professional. He respected my home and my time. He evaluated the situation and worked with me to make sure I got what I needed. More important, after he finished the work, the city inspectors were impressed and the job was certified the fist time. If you are looking for a professional who cares about your home as much as I do, Dovi is the person you want to hire read more

I was suspicious to see that every reviewer gave Dovis 5 stars but decided to give them a call anyway. The first time I called the phone just rang and rang-no one answered, no voice mail picked up. So I checked the number (i had it right) and called back. This time someone answered. He simply said hello. I asked if this was the plumber. He said yes......silence. So I said, Um, I need a plumber. He asked where I lived, I told him my neighborhood and asked if he wanted my exact address. He asked if I wanted the work done today, I told him as soon as possible. He then asked if he could call me back in 20 minutes to make the appointment and that it could probably be scheduled for tomorrow. I said sure. He never called back. Methinks those 5 star reviews are fakes. read more

I can't say enough about how pleased in am with Dovis. After a sleepless night of worry, because we'd just returned from vacation to find a burst pipe in the basement, I called Dovis, based on the yelp reviews. He was very thorough in his questions, and was able to be here within 2 hrs. There was no bs. He was straight up about the fees, he was honest about the work he had to do. Showed me exactly where the problem was. He recommended what to do. I am clueless when it comes to this stuff and after asking some friends and researched on line ( while he worked )everything he said was right on point!. He doesn't take credit cards, and I made the mistake of not asking, and can't even say how badly I feel, when I couldn't pay him his entire cost, which was so fair and so reasonable, for the work he conducted. He was very respectful of my home. Cleaned up. The gentleman that worked with him, seemed to very in sync with him and his direction. I will keep him as my go to plumber. I've used a few others, and they all, ALL have been horrible experiences! So happy I have Dovis now! read more

Do I love Dovi? Yes. To fix a dripping bathtub, I had two other plumbers give me estimates. They said I would need to break down the wall with the faucet (costing me hundreds of dollars extra to repair dry wall later). Not only were their estimates inflammatory, their behavior was ghastly. Enter Dovi. He was on-time. He fixed my tub without breaking the wall and at a reasonable price. He even fixed my toilet since he was in my bathroom!! He was kind, polite and looked me in the eye. He is redeeming his disreputable profession. Go Dovi! read more

I had a great experience. My contact was Yuda and he is very nice, funny and professional. I came home from a 24 hour shift, and soon became aware of a distant slow dripping sound. I located the puddle on the first floor, and then found the larger puddle on the second floor, with water seeping behind the paint and the tile wall, coming down from the ceiling. This was an area that had seen water entry before, and we had never been able to ascertain the source, despite multiple visits by various plumbers and general contractors. I called my usual plumber, who assured me that they could get someone out next week, which was obviously unacceptable. Holding my breath, I Yelped to see if I could get someone out that day (I was supposed to leave out of town the following morning). The first plumber that came up was Dovis, who seemed to have impeccable reviews. I called and explained my emergency. He told me he'd get someone out ASAP, and that he'd call me with a time frame. 45 minutes later he called to say he'd be there in 30 minutes. He arrived when he said he would, was well spoken and professional. Diagnosed the cause of the leak in around four minutes or so, and had it fixed in around 15 minutes. Then he took some time to discuss unrelated plumbing issues with me, and answered questions I had about replacing my hot water heater (it's time) and thermostat. He was knowledgable and thoughtful, and listened carefully before answering (a rare skill, indeed!). Under the emergency circumstances, he could have ripped me off, but his charge was completely fair, particularly considering the very rapid service he provided me in an emergency. Needless to say, he will be the professional I go to for replacing the thermostat and the hot water heater. Highly recommended! read more

Stay away from this place!. I called in because my restaurant has been getting the kitchen drain clogged. They told me they could unclog it but it was not going to be a long term solution. To unclog they charged me $395 and, told me to fix it long term it costed $2500!!!. Of course I proceed to just do the uncloggin, while I found a company that would give me a better price to fix it long term. They came in at 6:00pm and at 11:00 am next day it was already clogged!!!. Like it said I knew the service was not long term but I mean in less than 24hr it was clogged again!!!!!. I called the company an they said "Sorry service doesn't have warranty". Apparently they placed smalled letters in my Invoice saying no warranty, but the technician (Who had an attitude as well) never said that the service had no warranty if not I would not have paid it. I hope they become rich by those $395 they charged me. As I said, if you want a company that worries about doing a good service and not only money this is not it! read more

I talked with Dovi this morning and he was here about two hours later. It took him 15 minutes to identify the source of our toilet leak, fix it/replace the problematic part, swipe my credit card, and leave. It's not fun parting with $160, especially since it turned out to be a simple issue, but it would have taken me hours to do what Dovi did (isolate the problem, buy the relevant part, do the replacement) myself. read more

When I first called Dovi after seeing all the 5 star reviews on Yelp I was a bit apprehensive. I wondered "How can anyone get so many 5 star reviews?" and "Could they all be legitimate?" Well, after my experience with Dovi and seeing what a superb job he did, I now have my answer and am adding my own 5 star review. We had multiple plumbing problems involving the bathroom sink, tub, and toilet. Dovi corrected all of the problems in a highly professional manner, not rushing, and making sure that all the work was done correctly. Some examples: Dovi reconfigured the pipes in the vanity under the sink and installed new pipes of high quality (as distinct from the inferior quality, now corroded, pipes installed by our previous plumber). Similarly, Dovi snaked the main line leading to the tub in a careful manner such that the tub drain (which had been slow) now works beautifully (with much better results than those produced by multiple plumbers in the past). My wife says that when she now takes a shower, she feels like she's in a hotel. In the future, we will be calling Dovi for all our plumbing needs. read more

A plumber that calls you back? How about a plumber that asks you to text a few snapshots so they understand the nature of the situation? What about a plumber that shows up when he says he's going to show up? Unheard of you say? Well until I found Dovi, I'd called three different plumbers, including the plumber we've used for over 20 years only to repeatedly leave messages that were never returned. Dovi returns calls. I simply needed an aging basement sump pump replaced and Dovi showed up with his helper, on time, prepared with the correct replacement pump and did the installation quickly and cleanly. We got the labor and parts price up front and, in the end, he told us the cost of the pump was less than he quoted and that was reflected in his bill. So, add HONEST to that list as well. It doesn't get better than that when it comes to plumbers. read more
