I'm very pleased with the service from Dover today. I got Ryan the very same day I called for help. He coordinated the visit with my very busy schedule. He was pleasant to work with and explained the details of what he was doing the entire time. He gave me options for the repair - and things I didn't want to do today he provided what I needed to prepare for the next visit. Horrible service! Made me measure my own windows and send a picture then lost them. Proposal first addressed to daughter (who lives at different address) based on my information. Stopped by to give my name, address, phone and email but calls continued to go to her. Had appointment to meet there at 11am but told to wait until I received a phone call at 9:45. I contacted Grace at twice. She replied at 11:18 she was with customers all morning, to come in. At 11:30 I came in and she was still busy. Jeremy sat down with me and went over things. Emailed me later a proposal. Evidently she found the measurements and height was taller than he guessed. Received a call as I was driving up north 25 percent discount expired at midnight and I needed to sign and give credit card information. Neither one told me when the discount expired when we met! Glad I didn't make a bad choice going with them! read more

Our family had our Garage Door replaces approximately 5 years ago. Right at the 5 year mark our garage ceased to work. It began to bend and bow, becoming unusable. Once this happened we contacted Dover and Company and they did not respond to us at all. It was at this point that we started a complaint with the BBB. We then reached back out to the company and they were willing to talk to us at that point. The owner stated that he would be willing to replace the garage door at cost. We indicated that moving forward with that option was not the company taking any responsibility they stated that they would be willing to replace the springs exchanging them with their heavier springs at their expense. We agreed to that and moved forward with getting them replaced. When the technicians from Dover come to our home they did not have the heavier and springs they tried to replace the existing springs with the same weight of springs that we had originally. The technician mentioned it and when we brought up the issue he had to contact his company to get the go ahead to replace the springs. Once that took place, the door was still not able to close. The Technician left at that point. We still did get a bill for this replacement!!! That is a large issue. Not only was it almost impossible to obtain meaningful assistance and a willingness to accept some accountability from Dover and Company but the replacement work was not what we were promised and then we received a bill when it was not warranted nor was the job completed. Dover and Company has proven to be not only dishonest but also does not stand behind their work. read more

service request. Guy came out, claimed he fixed the door, left and the door stopped working. Called them. Company was abusive and rude. I asked them to come back out after paying them 130.00 for a service call. They said they'd charge me again. Adamant nothing was wrong. They had photos that the eyes were good. I had an electrician out that told me they eyes were gone. A month and a half later, i got them to come out and replace the eyes. They called me difficult, argumentative, etc. New eyes installed, garage door works. Their behavior towards me and the arguing about the garage door not working leads me to never using this company again. read more

Had a screen door installed today by the Dover team. Cody was prompt and courteous and made sure it fit nicely. It was tricky install the opening way not square for sure. It's a beautiful door. A nice feature it has is hidden screen when top glass is let down which helps prevent screen tears. Can't say enough good things about these guys. I came home just after 5pm. I parked my car in the garage and it refused to close. I thought I burned the motor. I was so upset, didn't know what to do. I found Dover and Justin answered. My hero. had an accident where my vehicle's spoiler connected with the bottom of my garage door as i was on my way to work. garage door was rendered immobile and i could not remove my vehicle. it was the end of the business day on a friday. utilized yelp to seek assistance. dover was the first to respond and made accommodations to get a technician out asap. was able to get out of the garage and make it to work. door took leas time than forecasted to arrive. all dover employees were professional, polite, respectful and punctual. their no-interest payment plan was a relief, too. read more

I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received from Richard. He was quick, professional, and explained in detail the issue, how it was fixed and some maintenance tips to go with it. Kyle was incredibly helpful, identified what had gone wrong, and also helped to recommend my best value in a new garage door opener to replace the failed one. His installation was absolutely top notch, and he went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Even to the point of identifying a potential weak point in my garage door, and reinforcing it with a few additional screws.
