Sure enough, they followed through and re-did the entire job from scratch. Replaced the damaged plywood that had originally not been replaced, and re-replaced the shingles over the affected areas. The worker they sent to do the repairs was named James, and he worked a steady 6 hours on the project, and did a great job. I am very happy to see that Lockhart Roofing stands behind their work. Remember, if a phone call doesn't do it, write a letter. It usually gets to the right person, and in the age of social media, word-of-mouth is very important. I will certainly consider them on my short list of estimates when it's time to replace the entire roof in 10-15 years.

Because the leaf guard was not working, and debris was collecting within the first three months of installation, and we are in our 70's, and can't climb the ladder, our neighbor took a look at it. He is a licensed contractor for gutters and leaf guards. He thought he could fix the job (the leaf guard was not installed properly, but he could not. Well....we ended up having to pay $1100 for removal of Lockhart's work, and cleaning and replacing gutters, and installing a new leaf filter, which works magnificently. Lockhart would not offer any solution or compromise when we brought this to their attention. True, we did not take pictures , as they said we should have because climbing a ladder is a challenge, but why, after paying them $1300, would we pay another contractor $1100? We did have a receipt for both jobs. We trust our neighbor. I am hoping that the roof lasts.

As the afternoon went by many roofing contractors stopped by and offered their services, including Jeremy from Guns N Hoses. I must have been approached by 20 contractors that day but when it was all said and done I decided on Jeremy. I'm glad I did. Given the amount of work the entire area needed I knew it would take some time. It did. Jeremy kept on top of everything and kept me posted. If he told me something I could take it to the bank. The work was completed in a timely fashion, the quality of work was excellent and he handled all the paperwork with the insurance company. I could not have had a better experience.

They returned on two different occasions and still did not fix the issue. I paid over 2k to fix the issue that was not fixed, then received a quote for a complete roof replacement for 21k. No thanks! I will never use or contact them again for any type of roof repair or replacement. Very disappointed.
