REVIEW OF LOCKE'S LANDSCAPING ($12k) I would give Locke's a…read more2 out of 5 for the following reasons: As I was obtaining landscaping quotes, Chris Locke (the owner) completed a very good landscaping plan (for free) and met with me several times before the start of the job. He also provided me with a detailed invoice of the work to be completed. My job was pushed back a couple of months, due to a Crew Leader quitting at the beginning of the Summer. I advised Chris that I wanted his best crew working on my project, and that I would be willing to wait. Once the work started, Chris unfortunately did not check in with me once (during the 8 days) to see how the project was progressing. My "new" contact was now Mark the "Crew Leader". Unfortunately, the crew was not very careful of our personal property, as they cut our cable line (and never told me), hit a light on the garage, scraped our vinyl fence, damaged the neighbor's lawn, and punctured an irrigation/sprinkler line. Additionally, the initial work was NOT good due to the quality of the workmanship. I had to have them come back and re-do the paver steps, fix my neighbor's lawn, and re-grade the front yard. Although a very hard worker, Mark (the Crew Leader), had a very poor attitude when asked to re-do work that should have been done correctly in the first place. As a side note - Chris and his crew seemed willing to take care of any issues on a comeback/re-do basis. In hindsight I would NOT hire Locke's Landscaping, due to the quality of their workmanship!

Diamond Mow Masters was willing and available to come out within a couple of hours to provide an estimate as well as begin work. for what it's worth, this is the friday before memorial day. the man that came out is "Jamie". Jamie mowed both my front and rear lawns, edged, got the grass coming through my cracked driveway, and cleaned up with a blower. he left no clumps on either lawn and was overall thorough with all of the service he provided. i feel that the lawn care provided along with what was charged was a great value. Diamond Mow Masters will now be my weekly lawn care service provider. Jamie let me now that he also provides landscaping services.
