ALCON, I'm writing…read moreto formally report an unacceptable experience with Brandywine Crossing Cleaners in Brandywine, MD. This business is not accredited by the BBB, and after my recent experience, I believe that is reflective of their poor standards and practices. I brought in an $800 suit jacket for cleaning. When I received it back, it had a visible burn or rust-like stain on the fabric--something that was absolutely not present at drop-off. They sent it out for re-cleaning twice, and the stain remained both times. Not only was the issue unresolved, but the service I received throughout the process was highly unprofessional. I spoke with a young Asian employee, whom I believe is the daughter of the owner. She was dismissive, refused to offer any solution, and declined to provide any contact information for the owner--no phone number or email. When I pressed the matter, she suggested that the stain might have been there prior to drop-off, which contradicts their stated practice of inspecting garments for damage before accepting them. No such issue was documented at intake, clearly confirming the damage occurred under their care. This level of avoidance, lack of accountability, and evasive ownership raises serious red flags. Customers should be aware that this business is not BBB accredited, takes no ownership for damages caused, and fails to offer professional or respectful customer service. I am sharing this in hopes that others can make more informed decisions when choosing a dry cleaner. I urge Brandywine Crossing Cleaners to take accountability, improve transparency, and reevaluate how they handle customer concerns. Sincerely, James S.

The biggest thing for me is the cleanliness. The facility is always clean and well maintained, and I never leave feeling like my clothes were washed in a dirty environment. Parking can be a little tight since it's located right off a busy road, but that's a small trade-off for the value and quality. My only suggestion would be to upgrade to newer machines in the future. Other than that, it's a dependable, affordable, and clean laundromat that I highly recommend.

For the past several weeks, this location has repeatedly failed to complete my dry cleaning by the stated pickup time. This is no longer an occasional delay. It is a pattern. What makes it particularly frustrating is that ZIPS actively advertises "In by 9, Out by 5" same-day service. Yet I currently have multiple orders from the same visit, and while some are marked ready, others are inexplicably still "NOT READY." Customers should not have to make multiple trips to retrieve pieces that were dropped off together. If you cannot consistently provide same-day service, stop advertising it. If an order will be delayed, communicate that proactively. Neither is complicated. Reliability is a basic expectation of a dry cleaner.
