Dr. Prince and staff fails to respond emails and phone calls. Lisa physically through me out of the Glen Ellyn office this past Friday evening as I was waiting for my son's $400 replacement night guard being delivered from the Orland office as I waited. The night guard impressions were taken 3 weeks ago, but since the practice is going out of business, customer satisfaction is at an all time low. I was told to pick up the night guard at 5:30pm on Friday. By 7:00pm Lisa decided to close the office, throw me out causing physical harm when she slammed and locked the door on my backside and hand (I have it all on video). Furthermore, she refuses to give the appliance I purchased to my 17 year old son, fiance', or myself. If you read her profile online, she states "it's impossible to have a bad day at work."Hmmmm. I called my bank and disputed the charges on my card. I intend on filing battery charges with the Glen Ellyn Police against Lisa. read more

*****DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE***** No matter what reputation Dr. Prince once had he is not going to be your dentist here. This place is ALL ABOUT MONEY! They consistently over book appointments. They have absolutely no respect for your time. I have been a patient for nearly a year. I never get seen on time. And yet, the have the audacity to have late policies against, yes against patients. Their prices are higher than most based on the reputation of a doctor who will not be your orthodontist. Again, besides the first day he will not be serving you. They cancel and reschedule your appoints all the time to consolidate and overbook slots. With not as much as an apology. This place is a classic example of a spot drinking its own kool-aid. Parking! Their locations are horrible. Never any parking. A converted house with no parking. A spot in Glen-Ellyn no street parking! And again a tiny waiting room full, absolutely full, of poor people too far into treatment to change. Save your money and go to a reasonable place. Braces are not rocket science and there is nothing novel in his approach. Once the brackets are on it is just tightening every month and how much you want to over pay someone to waste your precious time in his waiting room. read more

I would never recommend Dr. Prince. Several years ago I stepped into his office looking to fix my severely crowded teeth, open and cross bite. He agreed he would be able to help with a full invisalign case. Just about 3 years later I walked out of his office still with an open bite and cross bite. Sure he straightened my teeth but what is the point if they don't function properly? I was only making contact on 2 teeth. How could a competent and skilled ortho think this is acceptable? And to think I paid this man $8,900(upfront) for my treatment. It cost me an additional $6,000 to receive a full treatment plan with a new doctor. My general dentist and my new ortho were both appalled at the fact that Dr. Prince would consider this even close to completion and how anyone could consider my bite to be functional. Remember braces are a tool to correct the position of your teeth. You need a skilled individual to use those tools. Choose your ortho wisely. This man will only give you one refinement to your plan when using invisalign and if your teeth aren't positioned correctly then oh well, get out of my chair. read more

A family friend recommended Dr. Prince to my family about 9 years ago. My sister and I both needed braces and our friend was currently in treatment at this office so we decided to make an appointment. My mom took us in for a consultation and Dr. Prince estimated that my sister would be in braces for a year and I would be about two years because my teeth needed a bit more attention. Since we wanted to get them off before we went to high school (she was 12 and I was 11) we went ahead and made the appointment to get the braces on. Fast forward two years later and we were both still in braces. My sisters teeth weren't even bad to begin with so why would she be in treatment for that long? Money of course. Dr. Prince just lves the idea of prolonging treatment to get as much money as he can. Everytime time my mom would ask what was going on he gave us the run around and blamed us or claimed it was an issue caused by his staff. My mom told him we were going to go somewhere else to finish treatment then Dr. Prince randomly said my sisters teeth were suddenly finished and he took hers off. He made her a top and bottom retainer and told her to only wear them while we sleep. Fine whatever. As for me, he said my teeth were "so badly messed up" and that he thought it would only take two years. My teeth were no where near being done. I was in braces for FOUR YEARS. There was absolutely no reason for me to have braces for that long. Such a joke. Like I said, he just took advantage of my dad's insurance and kept coming up with new excuses (that didn't even make sense) of why I needed to have them longer. While I was finishing treatment, Invisalign started to become a big thing. My mom wanted to fix a few of her teeth because they were crooked and my younger brother and sister needed braces just to correct a few minor issues so my mom decided to try herself and my brother with the invisalign and my sister with metal braces. We thought it would be different because Dr. Prince made it seem like it wouldn't be a long treatment at all and blah blah blah. Again, wrong. My mom only needed a few months worth and she is STILL in the invisalign! What should have taken a year for my brother ended up taking THREE. My sister was the only one to "stay on track" and was in braces for a year and a half. It is now December of 2014, I have been out of braces for almost 5 years and my sister for 7. Even after wearing our retainers and what not our teeth have shifted and we are back at square one at a new orthodonist requiring a YEAR of braces. Thats how bad Dr. Prince was. He couldn't do his job right and now we have to spend a ton more money to have someone fix his mistakes. Oh and did I mention my brother has an appointment at this new ortho because Dr. Prince screwed his teeth up too? That place is a joke. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS ORTHODONTIST. This is my second child I've given to Dr. Prince for Ortho care and everything from the initial informational visit to the umpteenth visit for tightening has been a great experience. I was given deals for my financial situation from Nick and the good doctor. Dr. Prince is extremely personal and very pleasant. Funny guy! He'll make you laugh. The rooms are rather small but whatever. The staff has been really good to our family and I've haven't seen blame come at me even though my daughter (second patient) had three brackets fall off. My favorite is Ania who is very knowledgeable and explains things very well to both patient and parent. Been pleased so far! read more

AVOID DR PRINCE AT ALL COSTS! Do your research and find an Ortho that actually cares for his patients and will correct his mistakes. I began treatment in February 2015 and was never given a correct set of invisalign trays, even after 3 different sets of impressions and NINE visits to his office. Each time the trays would come back and would not fit correctly. He sent the impressions 4 separate times. One time the tray did not go all the way up to the gums. All four times that trays came back, there was always a pretty decent gap (3mm) between my teeth and the tray. I received a 2nd opinion from another ortho and come to find out that you are supposed to remove the attachments each time you take impressions. How can you take a correct impression with plastic hanging on each tooth. This is most certainly not correct but Dr Prince would always have some sort of explanation or put the blame on someone else, something else. If you do your research, you will see pictures of patients who have been through the treatment. During my research, I did not see anyone who had trays that looked like mine! Dr Prince always had lame ass excuses as to why they did not fit. After each appointment and with my dissatisfaction, his famous one liner to me was always "Come back in two weeks". I was so desperate to have this work as I am getting married and wanted perfect teeth for my special day. Invisalign is not cheap and when I am spending a ton of money on wedding related things, it makes my blood boil to spend hard earned money on a treatment with a joke of a Doctor who cant make something so simple correct. Each time I would call with an issue, it took DAYS to get a response from Dr Prince, even though the receptionist would promise a call back by the end of the day. He takes on too many patients and with FOUR offices (Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Orland Park and New Lenox), he cannot spend the invididual care that is needed on each patient. Every time I would come for an appointment, Dr Prince and his staff never knew why I was there and I had to explain the situation each time. These people do not have any clue whats going on. Good luck trying to get an appointment at your desired location because they are always overbooked and never available. I had to drive an hour to his Glen Ellyn office at least once because I couldn't keep taking time off work to come during the day. Also expect to wait in the waiting room WAY past your appointment time. It was a normal thing to wait 30-40 minutes until I was finally seen. Dr Prince gives his cell phone number to his clients with issues but as he never answers his phone and does not return calls/voicemails/texts, it is not helpful. Dr Prince will brag that hes treated over 2000 patients and that he is the top 1% of Invisalign but do not believe this bull. Whenever I had an issue, he would say hes "never seen this problem before" but how can that be if you've treated so many people. If you want a stress free treatment, it is best to go somewhere else where you can get the treatment and service you deserve. read more

Great Orthodontist, great staff, on time appointments, online account, email appointment confirmation. Have visited all locations and found consistancies throughout. My child looks forward to next appointment. Every step is throughly explained making every visit pleasant. Everyone shows equal respect to child and parent. My experience with Dr. Prince and staff was absolutely awful. I was originally given an invisilign treatment plan and over the course of time the treatment time doubled! This was due obviously to a mistake made by Dr. Prince. I had paid in full and therefore felt "stuck" with Dr. Prince. I was asked to be understanding of lack of knowledge Dr. Prince originally had however when it came to a missed appointment fee of 75.00 Dr. Prince was not so understanding. Imagine the time he caused me to lose. For those who have dealt with the staff you may agree that the fact I missed an appointment and it was not a scheduling error mistake made by the receptionist is very questionable. I paid the fee over the phone with his ignorant billing specialist and have learned from my mistake. Do not make the same mistake, go elsewhere for ortho treatment. read more

If you are looking for a good orthodontist experience, do NOT go to Dr. Prince. While my teeth came out fine, the braces' brackets broke often and I was always blamed. All of the staff are rude and not polite to parents or children. I always waited at least 30 minutes for an appointment. The rooms are also tiny and they cram multiple chairs into each room. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I'd much rather suggest Dr. Head, also in Glen Ellyn. read more

Doctor Prince and his team understand customer service and help to make the experience much better than other orthodontists. We looked for a good Ortho for our son late last year and chose Dr. Prince due to the service, friendly atmosphere and explanation os the process. Unfortunately we had to move to California during the summer and tried to find another Ortho but could not find one with the same service levels. We decided to go back to Dr Prince and complete my son's procedure. We are much happier and do not mind coming back to the service and friendly staff. Thanks for all that you do. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Prince when I was a teenager. His staff was always very nice and kept me as comfortable as possible while I was in the chair. It is now 10 years after My wire braces and my teeth still look great. Dr. Prince is a bit quirky, it can be a bit tiresome at times, but his work is good. I have 3 kids, all used invisalign. My youngest had a very small palate causing 2 of her teeth to turn sideways in her gums and was pushing on the nerve of the front teeth. We are amazed at how well the invisalign worked. Other orthodontist were going to do much more extensive (and expensive) work. My one child's teeth started moving back, he did blame her for not wearing her retainer enough. With that said, he gave her a new free retainer. That retainer hurt until her teeth moved back to a straight position, while her first retainer seemed loose. I agree he should have said it wasn't a good fit, but he did fix the problem quickly. I would highly recommend him. read more

Both of my daughters have had invisalign through Dr. Prince's office. We have had very pleasant experiences on our visits. The staff has always been nice and helpful to us on our visits. Some visits are shorter than others. The wait time varies but it depends on the patient's prior to us arriving on time for their appointments as I have heard them say they are late. I would like to recommend that you get at least two consults before you make your decision and I think Dr. Prince should be one of them. read more
