I was skeptical in the beginning because so many other had said no. Well, I am almost done with my treatment and my smile looks amazing. So happy with the results and it only took a year. I felt super comfortable and safe during my appointment today. They have safety protocols in place to keep everyone safe. A little more work to do before the appointment but glad they are taking these measures to keep patients safe!

We were referred here because of their welcoming of special needs patients. Plus it's really close to my home, so after a consultation at another local practice, came here and went with the Figueroa's. I couldn't be more impressed with the results of the orthodontic work for my now 14 year old son or the level of professionalism, cleanliness and friendly staff. Very well run from front office through the exam and procedure areas. If my younger son needs braces, we'll go back for sure.

The dental assistant, Jasleen, was extremely rude and rushed through my daughter's cleaning in less than 2 minutes. When the doctor, Dr. Gangaji, came in and pointed out food particles still on her teeth--Jasleen half-heartedly claimed she "tried."It was clear she didn't put in any real effort. If she had, the teeth would have been cleaned properly. My daughter had just come from school, so we hadn't brushed her teeth beforehand, but that shouldn't have excused such a lack of thoroughness and care. Dr. Gangaji didn't remove stain from her teeth, that was the main reason we were there. I had to insist that the stains be removed, and after a second attempt, the teeth looked brighter but still not perfectly clean. It's clear that this dental clinic is not equipped or prepared to handle children's appointments properly. They should not even offer appointments for kids if they can't manage them with the care and attention required. I would not recommend this clinic to any parent looking for quality dental care for their child.

We had an awful experience with Dr. Girgis personally. Things went fine with my older son but there…read morewas a major problem, lack of communication, and a disgraceful final meeting with him regarding my daughter's treatment. Our daughter started with a palate expander over 3 years ago, she's had baby teeth pulled and 2 years ago had surgery to expose teeth impacted in the roof of her mouth. One year ago she noticed that the last emerging tooth felt reversed/backwards. She felt it was smooth and round on the inside. Dr. Girgis DISMISSED HER CONCERNS and told her she was wrong. He offered her no explanation and NEVER EVEN MENTIONED the issue to us. Now, with the tooth almost in position, the bracket is not glued to the outside of the tooth! My daughter was right that the tooth is FLIPPED BACKWARDS! It could have been rotated over the year as it's been slowly pulled into position if Dr. Girgis had listened to her and considered that he might have made a mistake. How could he not have seen that?! We confronted him about this, after our dentist confirmed it, and he was very angry at us and said we were all wrong. He even said about our 15 yo daughter, "SHE'S A CHILD. SHE DOESN'TKNOW ANYTHING." Then he offered (or threatened) to pull the bracket off her tooth to prove he was right. We refused because he was angry and she was scared. So he said there was nothing he could do and we should seek treatment elsewhere if that's how we felt. He stormed out of the room, leaving the three of us, the tech, and another patient and tech nearby speechless. The office manager was called and Dr. Ito stepped it. They handled things as best they could, and Dr. Ito mentioned that the tooth was rotated. He didn't know that Dr. Girgis had NEVER SAID ANYTHING to us about it, so Dr. Ito's explanation was not very clear and we still don't know for sure what he would do to fix it. He did say it would take another 6-8 months, when Girgis said the braces would be off in 2-3. So maybe Girgis was going to stop with a backwards tooth? I don't know, but we've long since paid this office, so what do we do?
