These are pictures that I could gather showing before and after treatment
    Erika H.

Amazing job 10 times recommend. There are no words to describe how happy and thrilled I am with the results by the treatment of Dr.Neal and his staff, the way they treated me when I was there was incredible they engaged and answer any questions i had, everyone is very nice and very helpful. I called and went in to see what his approach would be with braces in terms of pay and treatment and we started months after that. What impressed me the most was how fast the treatment took because they had told me that it would take about 3/4 years but with commitment, care and doing precisely everything they told me to do, it took me 2 years to have my teeth straight, i recommend to wash, floss your teeth, do what they tell you to do like putting elastics on it's not just the braces that do the work but also yourself, again with time and commitment you will see the improvement. Tried Gathering some pictures so you can see the before and after I thought my case would take years to fix but we're all different with results.

Messed up the model and didn't make the retainer that contained all of the teeth
    Leah F.

This is the absolute worst orthodontist I've never been to. My retainer broke about 2 weeks ago, so I went here because they were able to get me into the schedule. When they took the 3D model of my teeth, the lab tech who did it was completely inexperienced. I previously told her "please be gentle and hurry because I have PTSD from dental work." Turns out, she'd only done the 3D models once or twice and she completely cut up my gums until she got someone in a half hour later to retake all of the model. She said "I probably should have just had her take the model to begin with." Yeah, clearly. When I went to pick my retainer up a week later, I almost cried trying to put it on my teeth. My teeth wouldn't shift that much in a week. But the tech said "just force it on your teeth." Well, my gums got cut and turned white YET AGAIN. And my top one didn't fit at all. She was super aggressive for no reason. She at one point said "sweetie, listen" in a very aggressive tone, to which I responded "why are you calling me sweetie?" The other tech looked worried about her, and even mentioned something when the rude tech left. It took an hour to get it straightened out. So then I wear my retainer for the night and start feeling a bit off about my bite. Come to realize that the retainer is missing an entire molar. When I called them to complain, they said "oh just come in and we can remake them." LIKE ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm demanding a refund and here's a warning, don't go here unless you want them to mess up your teeth and have to pay for it.

Dr. DeGroot is a great surgeon and spends as much time as a patient needs to answer questions. The…read moresupport staff is also top-notch. He extracted both of my bottom front teeth and installed an implant w/cantilever to replace them. Because they were front teeth, there was a need to have a bone graft (as apparently the front teeth do not have as much bone and space to have a lot to attach the implant). No one wants to go thru such a thing, but if I had to do it again, I would again use Dr. Bradley DeGroot. Details: * he provided the options available to me * he explained things very well--and I typically have lots of questions--particularly in regard to options, but also for long-term viability of choices being compared * the office staff was very friendly and efficient--felt like a nice extension of Dr. DeGroot's capabilities * executed the surgery very well...because I had to have both bottom front teeth extracted/replaced, there was a need to do a bone graft to provide a better landing zone for the implant. As is apparently typical for front teeth, there was only room for one implant, so a cantilever was used for the other one. I had sought opinion of another periodontist/implant specialist for this procedure, and they seemed to know what they were doing, but I didn't get the same level of comfort that I did when I spoke with Dr. DeGroot. The first doctor spoke more like a surgeon, but Dr. DeGroot spoke more like a person solving your problems. He explained things very well and he is VERY thorough--my dentist (who is also quite good) indicated so, too. Dr. DeGroot's exam was more thorough than the first periodontist/implant specialist I sought. Not going to mention name of first doctor, because I'm sure the other doctor is fine and not looking to taint anyone here, but I just felt more comfortable with Dr. DeGroot. * he and his team were incredibly flexible and understanding. When I shared my extreme aversion to needles (and I needed three shots to numb the area for the bone graft and implants), I asked for LOTS of numbing agent before they put the needle injections into my gums - three needle shots were coming!!! - and once the assistant put enough numbing agent, and Dr. DeGroot apparently deftly placed the needle injections, I literally didn't feel ANYthing when he gave me those three injections! Yowza, that was nice! And once the injections were done (with novocaine, I suppose), I didn't feel anything during the surgery for extraction, bone grafting, and implantation. I was quite pleased--except for having lost two of my front teeth, of course. :-) * wore retainer to cover the two missing teeth for about 4 months, while the bone graft healed...no issues, but as I was counseled by his team, it was best to remove for eating. * had no issues with after-surgery care, as I simply followed the instructions on the rinse care and what I should/shouldn't eat. * saw Dr. DeGroot for temporary crown/cantilever, which is apparently standard for front teeth, due to their more aesthetically noticeable location--this procedure went well, too...it was nowhere near as difficult as the main extraction/implantation surgery, as the "worst of it" was done at this point. * I then saw my general dentist for performing the permanent crown/cantilever. * it has been 8 months since the implant was done, and no issues. I have had the permanent crown/cantilever for 2 months, and have had no issues. All seems great, with no limitations on my lifestyle! I can floss around the implant, and I even floss around under the cantilever, as there is a natural (very small) space under it--not noticeable to others, but it inherently is not going to go immediately contiguous to the gum line. I will consider a water-pick for flossing, but thus far have had no reason to consider it. Conclusion: Overall, a very good experience, considering the not-so-pleasant need for having two front teeth extracted and replaced. I would use Dr. DeGroot again, if I had any further need for periodontal issues, and I would recommend him to anyone who had the misfortune of having to have implants done.

His wife was the one who worked me up originally and told me I would need 12-14 months of correction. I felt confident in the plan and then suddenly Dr Nicks wife was no longer working there. Dr Nick decided to remove all the attachments at 10 months before my teeth were in the right position. i Went back 2 weeks later because there was a gap forming between my 2 front teeth which I had never had. He said no worries we'll glue some retainers to the back of your front top and bottom teeth. He directed his assistant to try to squeeze my top front teeth together while at the same time trying to glue a retainer on to the back of my teeth. Ridiculous! Obviously that did not work so he said he would just try to straighten things without the attachments and only with trays. About 4 years later in Treatment I realized that it was not working and I said that I was done because I could not take any more of the ridiculous care! He said he wanted me to do 6 weeks in an overcorrection tray Before I finished. I received the trays and tried to wear them but they caused such unbelievable pain that I ended up having to see an endodontist to rule out issues with my my roots which was ruled out. Then I was sent to a maxilofacial surgeon who said it appeared to be trigeminal neuralgia. She sent me to an ent and a neurologist. I then saw another orthodontist who does Invisalign and determined that all my pain was attributed to the last 2 Invisalign trays Dr Nick gave me. Dr Nick told me to keep wearing them no matter what. I payed Dr Nick $6400 for this horrible treatment and at least another $3-4 thousand out of pocket for 2 cat scans and the specialists I had to see. I'm going to be In treatment again because my bite is so messed up from what he did to me. I'm not the only one. I know several other patients from this office with very bad outcomes. Dr klepacki used to own this practice and he was amazing. He fixed all my kids teeth. He is no longer practicing so don't be fooled about reviews that are out there when klepacki was there.

So He has had braces for about 10months from this place and also dental work and cleanings from here as well! One call just left a very sour taste in my mouth. In short: Ortho clerk called me in March directly stating I am responsible for about $900 added to my bill because Insurance declined since 1/1/23, I asked why call me now 3 months later and continue to see me monthly and not tell me the last 3 months you saw me? Why they lost me after I am done with braces: She directly did not take accountability and said "In the contract you signed and initialed you are responsible for any off insurance fees"!!! That completely was rude but I remained polite! I again asked why call me 3 months later vs 1 week ago when I saw you or Jan or Feb? Again she put fault on me and my responsibility. I get it, If I was at fault!! Still no answer why not tell me in Jan or Feb when I saw them!!! She now blamed the billing department! My reply which changed her tune: Aren't your Ortho and your Dental office the same system? She said yes! Me: Well you all need to communicate better because I sent my new Insurance a month ago early Feb! (Insurances change often due to work and they should know this) not even a "Justin, did your insurance change?) She now checked the SYSTEM AND THEN CHANGED HER TUNE when she saw there is a new insurance in the system!! Still no answer as to why tell me 3 months later, why not check before calling! Very rude in my eyes to tell me "I signed a contract" which I am ok to pay if I was at fault! Instead of apologizing and taking accountability that they dont check their systems and instead call a costumer with a negative direct approach!!! After this is done, they lost a customer who loved them! No excuse! So rude!
