Employees also gave out wine, water, cookies, pretzels, and bags with purchase. There was also a DJ. More giveaways & sales will be available for the grand opening on Thursday.

I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

The staff at Fab'rik are not only dedicated to notifying you when new items come in, they also go out of their way to make you feel welcome the second you walk into their store. I have never felt pushed to buy anything there. While they're not concerned on just selling you items, they do a great job of finding a fine medium between knowing how much help to offer and when to back off and let you browse around the store on your own. Their customer service and staff are not the only stellar quality the store has to offer. Their clothing has a unique touch to it. I've always found that when I purchase items here, they are unlike other typically bought clothing pieces at other boutiques in Cameron Village. At Fab'rik, there truly is something for everyone because all of their clothing is somewhat similar, but different enough that it targets a variety of diverse styles. No matter your shape, size, background, they are there to help you find what is most fitting for your individual self. Another aspect that I will contribute to my noteworthy, perfect rating of this boutique is that every item I have ever purchased has been extremely durable. This just further exemplifies their dedication to the value of quality in their products, and to providing clothing at a reasonable price that will actually last. Another plus is that Fab'rik is constantly getting new items in, as well. With that being said, it is hard for me to walk out of this store not finding something I absolutely adore. If you are around the Cameron Village area for a shopping day, whether it be with the girls or just yourself, take the time to stop into this boutique! Even if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, you will at the least come out of the store with a positive experience and feeling very catered to.

She isn't there every time I have gone in, and the experience is better without her. She seemed very standoffish and was short with me at checkout. Very unapproachable. HELLO, this is retail. On another note, the lighting in the fitting rooms is excruciatingly bad. I feel like I have gained 10 lbs every time I look in the mirror.
