I had a call confirmation the Tuesday before my Friday appointment confirming I was to be there at 4pm that Friday. In their lies they make new rules up if it does not suit them to hell with the patient. Management must refuse to pay hygienist to stay there and wait for your appointment. Mind boggling! They are delaying patient care is bottomline. It has happened now multiple times. My husband had appt later in day and lied about closing early and they did not have a spot for 3 months later. Sad part is that they will do it again and again. Due to HIPPA wont go into too much detail also had a delay in Care on a dental emergency only to be told "no" we cant check your pain or your tooth . Every aspect of the customer service was warm and calm and cheerful. I also took my son, who is 9 and was worried about everything - he was treated kindly and respectfully. In the past, I've seen dentists that find all kind of issues that were conveniently covered by insurance. Or, they poke you in the gums with a sharp instrument and say - WHOA you're gums bleed, you need a special deep cleaning that your insurance will pay for! Huh. A sharp dental instrument made me bleed? What a racket. When either of those two things happen I'm not coming back to your office. Nothing of the sort happened to us. First, the x-rays at the dentist can sometimes be the hardest part! I really appreciated the dental assistant's way of handling my occasional issue - she just calmly moved on to the next area (which required a different bite), and then went back to the problem areas later. This definitely kept me from getting flustered and it was no problem when she went back. It had been a year (COVID) since we had been to the dentist. They could have told me anything and I might have believed it. But we both were cleaned up and polished by Dr. Phil. No cavities. No pressure to do anything unnecessary. Good advice about braces, too! Also, the cleaning was that little water pressure deal, no scraping. Thank the lort. Fast and pain free. Naturally, everything was very clean, everyone was masked and gowned and there was hand sanitizer everywhere, etc. It is a nice office in general. Cool that you get x-rays and treatment all in one room. We will be back and I will be recommending Lancaster Dental to others.

However, within the hour I received a call to reschedule. I picked a day two weeks in the future and scheduled a second appointment. I didn't have time to check my schedule though and had to call back to reschedule again. I again left a message saying specifically that I would call back and schedule. This time their appointment person called my ex-wife to schedule a new appointment. I called back and cancelled any further appointments, advised them that due to their HIPAA violation that I would no longer be a patient and that they were not to discuss any aspect of my care with my ex-wife. Then they decide to text her for payment on my account. I filed a HIPAA violation complaint with the Dept of Health and Human Services.
