I had an accident and my face took the brunt of it. My veneers were destroyed. I was referred to Dr. Weber by a friend. He did temps on my teeth until he can do the permanents. His work is so beautiful I cannot stop smiling - and they are just the temps. Dr. Weber is very meticulous, I heard him saying one tooth was too thick, another didn't have enough composite. Every tooth was done to perfection. I can't wait to see the permanent veneers. His staff is excellent. You can tell a good dentist by his staff. What a sigh of relief I have now that I found Dr. Weber. I am so scared of the dentist that I haven't seen one in many years. I found Dr. Weber and read that he provided the relaxing gas if you need it and so that put my mind at ease a bit and I decided to bite the bullet and go see the dentist. How fortunate I am that I found Dr. Douglas Weber! He and his staff are professional, kind, trustworthy, and creative - precisely what I needed. I have a long dental history. Genetically, I have 9 missing permanent teeth: 4 wisdom, 1 upper molar, #24, #25, and more importantly #7 & #10 which are very visible if they are missing when you smile! I also had a very tight occlusion even after having been in braces twice in my youth. Unfortunately, I was given tetracycline as a child, and my teeth were also stained. Therefore, I now have mostly bridges and crowns in my mouth. My main issue began about 6 years ago when I was under the care of another dentist and was having a bridge (#9-11) replaced. While the temporary bridge was on my #9 tooth broke near the gum line. That dentist performed a poor root canal which appeared to have gone towards the side of the root and possibly cracked it. Another root canal had to be performed, and I knew then that I needed a new dentist that understood that I could not afford any mistakes! Of course I was not going to return to the same dentist. Hence my search for a dentist that was willing to be as close to perfect as possible began. After consulting with 5 dentists I finally found Dr. Weber. Even though his office is 2 hours away from where I live I knew the drive would be worth it! For the next two years we worked to create an occlusion that would support implants if it became necessary as we watched the #9 tooth to see if the damage to the root would result in an infection which it eventually did along with some bone loss. Dr. Weber also was patient with me as I wanted to be tested by an outside lab to see if I would be sensitive to any of the materials that would be used for the implant(s) and/or crowns. Eventually I had to have the #9 tooth pulled, and I received implants for the #9 and #10 teeth. What was truly incredible is that Dr. Weber was creative enough that throughout the entire process I could smile. He was able to communicate well with the implant specialist and together they made it so that I could always feel confident smiling in public! The restoration is finally complete! I have a beautiful smile and teeth that function as they should. Throughout the process Dr. Weber made sure that I fully understood each procedure and possible consequences. By the way... I have had many crowns and bridges before and I can truly say that Dr. Weber gives the VERY BEST INJECTIONS! If all dentists were as painless as Dr. Weber I believe people would not be afraid to go to the dentist. Jessie & Stephanie also contributed incredibly to the excellent care that I received. Dr. Weber and the office staff show genuine kindness and respect to their patients as well as to one another which creates a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Being 60 years old and having moved many times for jobs, I have been to many dentists. I have often left the dentist's office feeling like they were doing either what was easiest and quickest for them or what made them the most money. Not with Dr. Weber. He is a true professional. He does the most thorough exam I have ever had. When there are problems that need fixed, he discusses options with the patient. When he is doing a procedure, he takes his time and does it right, and is always cognizant of minimizing discomfort for the patient. His staff is also very professional and courteous. I am one of those (aging) patients who has been through PLENTY of dental procedures so can definitely tell you that Dr. Weber and his staff, have always taken good care of me, and my family, over the past 14 years. Dr. Weber and his great staff, have always been very receptive and knowledgeable, as well as patient and highly attentive when addressing all my issues. Also, Dr. Weber never over-books his patient load so there's never a long wait. His office is run efficiently and effectively with utmost competence. Another thing that's important that I love is that Dr. Weber makes himself totally accessible to his patients should an emergency arise. While other dental offices leave you with answering services or machines, Dr. Weber simply gives out his cell number so you never have to wonder if your message was ever received. In fact, I did have some minor emergencies come up and did have to contact Dr. Weber directly. He has come in for me on his day off, after closing hours, and even on a Saturday. Although I felt bad I inconvenienced him, I always left feeling that this is a dentist who had no problem putting his patient's needs and comfort ahead of his own. Dr. Weber is highly professional and truly one of the most ethical dentists there is.
