These donuts are so good! I love myself a good gourmet donut and compared to where I live, the pricing here is very reasonable for some unique flavors. I got a delicious milk and cereal flavor - it's soft without being overly sweet. The crunchy texture on top is perfect. The doughnut had great bite - fluffy and yeasty. Doughbird was our most favorite spot out all the food joints we tried out in our 4 day trip in the Moab area. This maybe because we love donuts, and they had some of the most amazing donuts we have ever had! We went there almost everyday of our stay at Moab, and we almost tried all their donuts. Every single variation was so yummy, soft, fluffy, creamy and what not! If we lived in the Moab area, we would easily become regulars at this place. We got their donuts as breakfast for most of the days we were at Moab, sine they open very early around 7 am and it was perfect for us since we wanted to kick off our day exploring the national parks around early. We also ordered their Fried Chicken Sandwich for lunch on our way back out of Moab, and it was again the best fried chicken sandwich we have ever had, we got the Hot version and it was very spicy but still enjoyable. Their chicken was very very crispy and juicy even long after we got the take out. One side note is that, it might be oily for some, but we loved it! Just note that they don't start serving these until 11am in the morning. The staff were very polite and they even offered to cut our sandwich in half since we told them we will be sharing one. We are in Moab for vacation and for lunch we went to DoughBird. We had the chicken platters for $14 each with waffle fries and cronuts lemon and salted caramel for $4 each. All I can say is what a lunch! The chicken and fries were tasty and plentiful and the cronuts perfectly sweet bakery goodness.The service was fast and we got what we ordered .What else can you ask for from a restaurant? What can I say that hasn't already been covered? I'm not sure I can find anything unique to say but, goodness, this shop has it all done right! The small, simply designed building with its white tile front and vintage-style lettering make you want to peek inside to see more. I got very lucky on this Friday morning and there was no line! The previous day, there was a long line so, I was happy to be able to take my time to look over the entire selection. It is so incredibly hard to choose so, I did go with the salted caramel crodough that was said to be the most popular. From there, I picked the spiced apple cider, old fashioned, and the Nutella stuffed donut. Grabbed a coffee and headed out to the picnic tables to enjoy. The crodough was my choice. The dough was nice and flaky as you would want a cronut to be and the salted caramel icing kept me wanting more of that salty and sweet combo with each bite. I tried the Apple cider and Nutella on the next two days and both were very good ~ particularly the Nutella in not being overly stuffed. I have yet to enjoy the old fashioned but, I'm confident it will be another winner. The service was fantastic - friendly convo and smiling faces from all. Prices were also very reasonable for a tourist-driven town starting at $2.50 for the lowest of those I bought and a coffee refill at $1 ~ pretty sweet! I am not a meat eater but, the after donut chicken menu served after donuts is genius and from the reviews, worth coming back for. This will be a must-stop option on my next visit to Moab for sure. read more

Service is a little off putting and non chalant. This seems to be a common theme these days, not unique to this establishment, unfortunately. But the Cronuts (called something different here) are just to die for. I went back a 2nd time, during my short stay in Moab, to take a dozen to share with friends in the next destination. They are not inexpensive and they seem to be open very limited days/hours. Hopefully you'll be fortunate enough to be there when they are open and DO try the Cronuts. You'll need to get there early before they are sold out. read more

I didn't try the chicken or fries - but we did try the doughnuts and they were seriously the most delicious I've ever had in my life! I got the Tiramisu bc that's my favorite dessert and this baby was fresh, soft, and bursting with deliciousness. I don't eat a ton of sweets usually and doughnuts are a bit heavy for me, so I planned to nibble. I inhaled it in about 2 minutes and wanted another (but I abstained). The staff inside were friendly and welcoming and easily answered my friend's allergy questions and made recommendations on popular choices and flavors. I'm sure the donuts will be delicious and they look fantastic. The young lady working behind the counter was extremely unfriendly, even rude. I asked for the vegan donuts to be placed separately from the regular and she got an attitude like I was asking her to remake the entire order. I didn't want them to be mixed in with the others. After a disappointing dinner the night before, I felt a bit hopeless in finding a restaurant in Moab that actually had something that was more than barely edible, but we finally found somewhere that actually had good food. We saw this restaurant while driving around looking for something to eat. I decided to give it a chance and we were glad we did. Their donuts were delicious! It had a great texture, soft and airy. The maple bar was probably the best we've had. Great maple flavor, not too sweet, and airy and fresh dough. The best part of this visit was the chicken sandwhich. They make it fresh to order and had lots of great flavor. You can pick the spice level so you can get it mild to hot. The chicken was also juicy and every bite was flavorful! I was excited to try DoughBird after seeing they had a Cronut type of donut. I'm torn, personally after trying a real Cronut made by Dominque Ansel I have yet to find something comparable. After trying the monthly flavor, I was kinda disappointed. My opinion, the donut was too big which required extra cooking, resulting in a crispy square donut. It didn't have the textured layers that I expected and was greasier than should have been. Sadly, the blueberry pie fritter had a similar issue, a large dough needing fried longer. This resulted in a really hard outer layer and ruined the overall flavor. Would I return if ever in Moab, probably not. read more

First time coming here and I'm glad it's made it's stamp on the Moab food scene. The associate told me they opened in 2019. Glad they survived the pandemic craziness! My critics are only for the donuts, we didn't try the chicken. I loved all the options and unique pairings that they offered. My only criticism? Some of the donuts lacked flavor. The almond poppyseed was very mute imo. And a couple of the donuts were dry (any of the cake donuts). But then I had some like the maple mascarpone that were banging. They were all out of crodonuts unfortunately (but shame on me for expecting any to be available at 1130am) so I'm bummed we didn't get to try those! This place caused me to have SECOND BREAKFAST!! I cannot be held responsible. The come hither glistening white subway tile blinding my good judgement in the Moab heat! And then everyone in the place talking about these salted caramel devil squares! Beckoning, tempting. I was powerless. These donuts freaking rock, and in all fairness I did walk out with only 2 donuts. The salted caramel crodough which was flaky and sweet and the perfect amount of saltiness. We stopped in yesterday after our Corona Arch hike at around 8:30 am. The doughnuts looked amazing. However, they didn't taste amazing. The apple fritter one was full of apples, but was doughy in the middle like it hadn't finished cooking. The blueberry pancake and chocolate cake ones tasted like they were several days old. Since they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, I am not sure if they were trying to use up what they didn't sell. We were so excited about trying this place, and were very disappointed. read more

This is a terrific little donut and coffee place right on the Main Street in Moab. The donuts are large-and tasty! From the outside, you can tell this is a quaint place that likely has something good inside. There's even a sandwich board right in front enticing you to come in. When you walk inside, you see a display case of freakishly large donuts. There's also a case of cold beverages and a drink board on the wall listing out a bunch of coffee options. Seating is limited, although it does exist. Don't expect discount donut quality or prices. We paid just under $20 for three donuts, three canned drinks and a coffee. I heard another customer ask the price for a dozen donuts-he was told is starts at $20 and goes up depending on what donuts you order. Would I go back? Yes. Will I get fat if I go too often?
