Visiting downtown and surprised to find a restaurant with wood fired pizza. Brick walls frame the interior with a long bar, industrial vibe and the oven visible from the dining room. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu has a handful each of salads, sandwiches, Neapolitan and traditional pizzas. We had the Union Pacific pie from the traditional American pizza selections. The crust was sturdy and cooked to perfection. Sauce and ingredients were tasty but not as plentiful as expected. Sodas are only available in cans so just opted for water. A good selection of beers on tap. Will try the Neapolitan pie next time to experience the wood fired oven. read more

Dough isn't the 4.7 purported by user-driven platforms. But it's certainly good pizza. We made the trek from Auburn to downtown Opelika just for the pizza. Each of us opted for a wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pie with a 12-inch diameter, just the right size for one individual. Offering toppings like prosciutto, n'duja (spicy Italian pork sausage), and guanciale (an Italian version of bacon), such gourmet selections already gives them clout in small-town Alabama, toppings I usually see in the big city. The crust is fantastic, which is expected for a place called Dough. But for a price tag of $80 - including tax and tip - for a family of four, the ingredients are quite sparse and the sauce is only okay. The middle of the Neapolitan pizzas is difficult to cook and stays soggy and underdone. This is a good experience, for sure, but it doesn't exceed three stars. read more

Stopped in and it was Tuesday Night. Ordered a large pizza for the price of a medium and ordered a house bottle of PN. Price was super reasonable, food came out quickly, service was very attentive and able to adjust the order. Ambiance was laid back. The restaurant is clean and organized. The pizza was just o.k at best. We ordered the Union Pacific pizza with no olives and half pepperoni only. I said specifically half pepperoni only because I don't like all that other stuff because I'm like a kid. That is definitely not what we received. The waitress offered to have them make it again but I didn't want to wait again I told her I would just pick off everything else. She said she misunderstood. My husband and I decided to give this new pizza place a try. As soon as we walked in, they were playing Spanish music (huge plus in my book), and the place was really clean (another huge plus). Once we were seated, our waiter took care of us right away and the pizza's only took about 10-15 minutes to cook. Once we got our food, you could tell everything was fresh and the crust on the pizza was delicious. The only reason I'm giving them a 4/5 is because pineapple is not available as a topping which is a huge bummer. Also, their small pizza could easily pass for a medium! Amazing Napoleon style pizza!! We came here while attending a 3 day swim meet in Auburn, and let me say...this is the best pizza my family and I have eaten outside of actual Italy. This place is outstanding. Our family of two adults and a teen, all of which were hungry, ordered a large greek salad, "Rita" pizza, and "Prosciutto" pizza and were STUFFED!
