A self-aware donut snob, I typically like to bring donuts in while I am making customer visits throughout my travels. I carefully research the areas that I am visiting for the best independent local donut shops. If I cannot find one, I refuse to entertain "big donut" chains. They're garbage, as my donut shop owning grandfather used to say. I've visited Johnnie's a couple of times. I'm easy - 1 or 2 dozen and I let them pick the mix as long as there are a few glazed mixed in each box. Always a hit when I bring them in and they are always appreciated. Would I go back? Absolutely. I'd like to believe that none of them ever get thrown away. I always make the suggestion to not throw any of them away. Take them home so they don't go to waste. Pro Tip: Get there early. Johnnie's is a gem but it's no secret. The locals flock to Johnnie's to get their donut fixes and they know to get there early.

The store isn't normally to busy, but is smaller, so if multiple people are in there at one time it can feel a bit crowded. This is a place I would absolutely recommend. The owner of this store also has more stores and restaurants and seems to have consistently happy workers and guests from my experience.
