Came here as a backup option because our first choice was affected by a local power outage. My son wanted a chorizo burrito so I asked what came with it before ordering. The cashier told us beans, rice, cheese, and chorizo, so I ordered. My son took 2 bites and noticed corn and asked why it's there? I assumed maybe cross mix from the prep area, then he noticed more and then some peas. Turns out it's a rice/veggie mix. He no longer wanted it with those ingredients. I went to see about exchanging it and I was helped by one of the chefs and I asked to just swap it for a grilled cheese. I then went to the register because there is a price difference as the burrito is $12 and the grilled cheese is $6. She offered me $2 because it was bitten. I explained that she never told us there were veggies in the mix and it was only 2 bites. I worked in fast food before and this was not a "can I get my money back" with one bite left of the food scenario. She the decided to pass blame and say "it's not my fault you bit it" and just kept deflecting. The product provided was not what was described and the only ways to find out is bite it or unwrap the burrito. She only gave me $4 of the $6 difference because she was haggling, Not sure if cashiers are authorized to make pricing adjustments but her attitude is no bueno for customer service. I know for sure Chris's burgers or Jim's burgers would have handled this way more professionally and not leave the customer feeling like they got ripped off twice in 1 visit. I was pleasantly surprised, and I will be coming back for more. We ordered the cheeseburgers and some french fries with a coupon that we had. Finally used it because doublz kept reminding me and I'm glad that they did. I don't usually go to a whole lot of different fast food places at my age. I already know the ones that I like for the kind of food that I like. I enjoyed the cheeseburger, meat Patty was tasty and I appreciate that the lettuce is a slice of crispy lettuce, not shredded.which just gets all hot and mushy inside the burger. I like coming here for the seasoned fries. $5.49 small, $5.99 large. They are soft, thick cut fries. Not hard or overcooked. Again, ppl have a preference to fries so this may not be for everyone but I happen to like their fries from time to time. Haven't been to Doublz in awhile and figure why not grab breakfast this morning. Order 2 breakfast plates and when I was pulling up to the window I realized I needed one more. Waited a few minutes at the window before being greeted while the worker continue taking other orders. The time she acknowledged me and I asked for the 3rd one her response was "why didn't you add it on when I was taking your order" obviously I forgot and that why I was asking at the window. It was a giant cheeseburger with bacon and avocado in it, cut into two halves. It made me really full and they added a lot of fries. This is definitely the place to go if you are very hungry. My burrito was good and on point, salsa had some heat to it which was tasty, on the other hand, my Sons burger was tiny & tasteless, chicken nuggets were hard, chewy and rubbery, but the fries with the ranch dipping sauce was the star of his meal.
