My husband took me here recently for a surprise weekend anniversary trip. He chose Tulsa because of the restaurant he was taking me to and booked a suite with this hotel. I knew immediately when I walked in that I was disappointed, but tried to hide that from him. I would personally give the space of the actual suite, not including the restroom, a healthy four or five, it was adequately spacious. I would give the restroom area, somewhere between a one and a two, because it was not spacious, especially for a suite. The shower door wouldn't shut, the toilet was immediately outside the shower door and the shower mat was pretty much right under the toilet, I think the plumbing must've been old because it was very noisy and my husband had to fix a continuous drip in the shower after I got out of it. I was VERY unimpressed with it! Outside of the center table being kind of scratched up, I can live with that, the couch was VERY hard and uncomfortable, not inviting all, but that wasn't the thing I noticed the most. When we walked in, and I saw the suite, immediately on my right hand side, next to the bed, it smelled like dirty feet. I hate to say that, but it did and I noticed it immediately. I don't know if the carpet is old and several people have walked barefoot on it or if it needs to be shampooed, but it was not welcoming. I, personally, did like the bed, and it's the only picture I have, but it was hard for my husband to sleep on. He had booked a nonrefundable three days there, but after the first night, we left the next morning and paid the $75 fee to leave before the three days we're up. The view from the window wasn't that great. Actually, what you saw was an old parking garage lot, which really isn't their fault, but with the combination of things, it just clearly wasn't a desirable place for us to stay. I do want to say something positive about an experience we had there during our short stay. I asked for a virgin piña colada, I can't really drink alcohol, and although the bartender did not have a mix, she looked up a recipe and strove to make me a really good one. I really enjoyed that and appreciated her going the extra mile there.

As a Doubletree silver member, I felt very well taken care of. The check-in process was seamless and my room was perfect. I stayed for a week during a conference so I became very familiar with the hotel. I enjoyed the shuttle service and the mini market for snacks, essentials, and my daily iced coffee. The staff was super kind and drinks were perfect. The hotel was a walking distance from downtown so I would stay again. My only critique is my first night I went to the hotel restaurant, was seated, given a water, placed my order, and then my server disappeared. I waited an hour before feeling defeated and leaving. I ended up buying a packaged sandwich at the mini market. I spoke to my colleagues and they had similar experiences.

Staff is friendly and it's conveniently located. Rooms are spacious and generally in good shape. Our shower drain was slow and if you're tall the shower head hits your chest. They have some nerve charging $28 to park. The garage is is narrow and difficult to navigate.

Getting a warm cookie is the highlight of this Doubletree I was expecting much more and I was highly mistaken....I agree with the reviewer that said this hotel is stuck in a time warp - extremely outdated. The hotel charges a tourist fee....for what exactly? I am not sure. They have one restaurant. I didn't even see the market or pantry that is available at most Hilton properties. Parking....well parking is $25 US Dollars...sheesh! and there is no free parking nearby - I checked....It is the downtown area, but these prices seem steep for guests (especially being there is no security onsite). Breakfast is $17 if you choose to indulge. Feels more like Spirit or Frontier airlines with all these additional charges for basic things. Cheapens the brand. I thought the room was not clean or well maintained. The ventilation was clogged with dust, the water pressure was horrid, the water inside the shower pooled around my feet because the faucet did not transition to the shower adequately, the wallpaper was peeling, and the restroom was waaaay too small. The closet seemed bigger than the restroom....sheeeesh!!! The T.V. didn't work properly and trash cans were too small - I couldn't fit anymore than 2 bottles inside. While walking around, there were Lysol stands but they were filled with trash instead of actual wipes....OK, I guess they are just there for appearances. At check in...there was a mixup about the brown Hilton bag, I am a Diamond member but I guess not ALL Diamond members are treated the same. I paid overpriced hotel prices for basically a warm cookie because that is the only pluuuus!

I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. Our family of 5 is currently staying here for my wife's first Ironman race on Sunday and the General Manager Charles and the entire staff are going above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect. We made the mistake of booking on a 3rd party site and found out they booked us a different room for each night. Despite the hotel being totally booked, Charles found a way to make sure we would be in the same room the entire stay. Our SUV was too big for the parking lot. No problem, Charles arranged a spot for us to park outside. We got extra cookies for the kids when we checked in. They arranged the housekeepers to clean our room at a specific time while we took the kids to the pool. Everything has been above and beyond. The pictured 2 Bed Deluxe Suite is updated, very clean, and perfect for our family. The included breakfast buffet is open with COVID precautions and is amazing. The entire staff is the friendliest I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel if you're in the area!

Upon entering, the front desk attendant was unfriendly and snippy about check-in time. Front desk was not prepared for the large convention check-in and oversold the rooms leaving many without rooms. The lines filled the lobby from 3pm-10pm. The hotel room smelled like an ashtray even though it was "non-smoking" and the condition of the room was dirty with remmenets of food, confetti, pieces of popped balloons, and hair elastics covering the floor. Takeout food was found in the refrigerator. I would give it 0/5 stars.

A lougie that has been on the threshold long enough it was dry and crusted.

This one, though, missed the mark in a few spots. But first, the good... I'll start with the front desk staff, who were always friendly and greeted me upon each arrival and departure. They even mailed some postcards for me, which was really nice. The hotel is also really conveniently located. It was a short drive to almost everywhere I needed to be. In fact, if the weather hadn't been so chilly I could even have easily walked to most downtown places I visited. Now for the "meh"... My room, located on the 7th floor, had a lovely view. Other than that, it was run down and could have used a refresh. Also, housekeeping never showed up after my first night, even though I was gone most of the day. Not really sure what happened there. They did clean it the next day, though. But back to my room: from a lampshade that looked like it had been sat on to strange brown stains on the wall that had me thinking a lot about those true crime podcasts I used to listen to, not to mention the exposed wires in the wall thermostat, it gave 1-star dive hotel in many ways. The walls were pretty thin, too, and I could smell/hear the folks in the room next to me. Luckily, they put away the joints and the music pretty early in the evening, but it still detracted from the overall experience. Parking was also really weird here. The desk clerk had advised I park at the garage next store, which I did on the first night. Folks, this place was CREEPY with a capital CREEP. I especially advise against parking there if you're a solo female. And while my car was ultimately fine, navigating the enclosed stairwell and abandoned office building lobby with no visible exits just to get out of the place was not my vibe. After night one, I just used the outdoor lot next to the hotel. It was only slightly safer feeling, as it was occupied by some semi-shady characters, but at least there were various options to exit without feeling like I was trapped in an amusement park funhouse. On my last trip to Tulsa, I stayed at the nearby Tulsa Club hotel (also a Hilton property), and if/when I return I'll choose that spot again rather than the Hampton.

The receptionist again opened up the doors for me immediately. From there, you will go to the second floor, where the receptionist desk is to check in. Hotel staff is very friendly and offer recommendations if you ask. Complementary breakfast available. Eggs, sausage and/or bacon, waffles, English muffins, scones etc. My room was clean, had body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. My room did not get completely dark, because my room backed up to the parking lot and restaurants behind the hotel, where there were some light poles. Though the curtains are blackout, the light still seeped in from the top of the curtains. I was still able to get sleep. I just would have preferred a darker room. My stay included Friday, the first Friday of the month is the art walk. There was some loud music playing, but it was not too bad and they did not go past 10 PM. Hotel is very convenient to restaurants, BOK, museums, etc. because the hotel is in Downtown, you can expect to see a few homeless people wandering around. You may get asked for money if you were out walking about. I was asked twice as I walked across the street to Sisserou's. During my stay, I also noticed the same homeless person hanging around in the garage. My stay was good. I would recommend the hotel.

A nice employee named Hayley (sp) was there during our stay and she was very helpful. We checked in earlier than we planned to due to arriving in Tulsa earlier than expected from OKC. She was apologetic about not having a cheese plate or fudge ready. I didn't even know these things existed with the room, so apology accepted! Haha. She took us on a tour of the inn and did a great job of both detailing the history/current status and the amenities we had access to. Not too much later, she brought us the aforementioned cheese and fudge. Score! She also took care to note food allergies since they serve breakfast. I have none but my boyfriend is allergic to the Earth, so that's nice. We stayed in the Sage while we were there (Thursday night and Friday night, so two different prices). It's the only room that's not directly inside of the inn, so that was neat. It almost felt like a little cabin! It's attached but the entrance to it is outside while the other rooms are inside. It's a nice simple room. The bed is comfortable but I wouldn't rave about it. The only small downside is that this room doesn't have its own thermostat because it shares one with the Willow, the room it's attached to. Hayley set it for us to a very cool temp since it was hot out. It kept the room very cold. But we were also out adventuring most of the time. If we weren't, then we would just burrow under the blankets in bed. So no big deal, but I'm sure there are more picky people out there. Every morning, breakfast is served in the dining room at 9am. It feels a little awkward almost since the inn is so small and the breakfast is guests only. They're cooking just for you! The first morning, it was only us there. There was fruit, pancakes, and a plate of bacon/sausage/eggs. It was good stuff. Oddly good bacon. Second morning there was fruit, waffles, and breakfast potatoes/fritatas/bacon. The second was definitely the best. My boyfriend hates eggs; they did something to his family, I think. So they double downed on his bacon. Lucky dog. But the fritatas were great, so his loss. Random notes: - The TVs have a lot of channels but the TVs are tiny; maybe that's a hint to spend time with your travel partner. - ^ Speaking of which, the second floor has a drawer of toiletries that includes toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner/soap, deodorant, and *ahem* condoms ~an assortment~. Some other stuff, too. - The gated exit you use during the day is closed at some point in the evening. You'll drive out the entrance and return through the entrance using the code on your room key during later outings.
