This was my first time visiting Billings, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I will say that Billings in general really surprised me. It's a quaint yet somewhat vibrant city that offers some great food, views, and experiences This hotel is interesting. It is one of the tallest if not the tallest building in the city. I was on the 11th floor and I could get a morning view of the sunrise, and I could also see the refinery that I would be working at each day while visiting The hotel itself is well decorated, but there are aspects that show its age a little. All told, the room was fine. It was made up each day with fresh towels, new sheets, etc. There's a fitness center that is clean with plenty of equipment. There is a restaurant, bar/lounge, and coffee shop. I only tried the latter, the Marble Coffee Co., and it was a solid experience. I will review them separately A couple of pro's to staying here is it is in the heart of Billings. You're staying in downtown, and there's so many restaurants, bars, etc nearby. The front and back doors are all superheated so you warm up immediately when coming in from the cold winter air. The airport is close. You're like 10-15min away. Also, because it's a Doubletree, you can always get warm signature cookies at the front desk. Some of the downsides to staying here are the parking situation. There's a small lot for parking, and if it's full, and it fills up quickly, you have to park in a separate parking garage where the will validate your parking. The water in the room is not complimentary. There's water in the lobby, but a couple times they ran out of cups. Also, a couple outlets in my room didn't work, and my phone died overnight when I thought it was charging. On my last day, I returned to checkout after working in the field and I went to take a shower, and the water pressure was incredibly low, and the water was more cold than warm Also, the elevators were giving me trouble. I couldn't get my card to work and I actually got stuck in the elevator for a bit. I had multiple people take a look at it before maintenance fixed it. I will say Anna and the maintenance team were great. Another individual working the front desk was rude, wouldn't look at me when I had follow-up questions at the desk, and when I called letting them know I was in the elevator and asking how long it might take to get out she was very short with me and even hung up on me. She is the main reason I am leaving such a low review. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and it was already somewhat traumatizing being stuck in the elevator when I needed to checkout and get to the airport Some tips: I was able to get late checkout, and they offered to hold my bags, so, if you need that service, they're happy to oblige. I would also, visit downtown for a fun night out. Some of my favorites were Spitz and the Burger Dive (as seen on Man vs. Food). My absolute favorite stop was the Art House Cinema & Pub - take in an affordable film or just enjoy the delicious food in their restaurant Cheers!!

Lost a star because I never got my wake up call. This is an amazing hotel.... Why... Unlike other Hiltons in other states.. 1. Many lights in room and they are bright!!! 2. USB charging ports 3. Admirable water pressure Rooms were clean and well kept. Staff were very nice.

Great rooms, nice views, and near both great, diverse places to eat in downtown Billings.

Stay year every couple months. The staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms clean and comfortable and either open parking or in attached garage is easy. They are especially efficient at making the Hilton on-line check-in/digital key system work extremely well.

This was the view from the bath tub...hair and grime.

My husband booked this hotel expecting it to be a bit of a nice one. Lobby was nice, but I was not too impressed with the general feeling of the room. Definitely can tell it is an old place that has just undergone a few facelifts. But why am I giving it one star??? The following pics will show why...hair and grime all around the toilet. NASTY!!! Looked like it had not been cleaned for many stays. And the vanity was so dirty it looked like it had not been wiped down in months. When I called the front desk and reported the filth, the receptionist did apologize, but didn't even offer a discount. Was not very impressed. Definitely will not be staying there again!

Keep in mind the town of Billings has a certain motif and this hotel surely keeps with that decor. Older hotel located in downtown Billings. Walking distance to many restaurants. Beds were comfortable enough and fairly clean. Someday it may be in the line up for a remodel but all the necessities were readily available. Staff is friendly and definitely helpful. Honestly enjoyed my stay

Room smelled like smoke. As did the one they moved me to. Awful. I would avoid this place at all costs.

However, the air conditioning went worked well. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet. Abby, our waitress, could not have been more welcoming. She got us seated right away, recommended the fries (which were incredible), and made sure we had everything we needed even as the kitchen was winding down. Special thanks to Chef Joe, who deserves a big compliment for putting together such fantastic food at the very end of service. The wings were amazing, the burger was excellent, and the fries were so good that I actually finished them, which I almost never do. That says a lot. The atmosphere was fantastic lively but not overwhelming, with a party still going on since the bar stays open until 11. I haven't even seen the room yet, and I already love this place. Between the service, the food, and the energy, this stop turned into one of the highlights of the trip. Abby and Chef Joe both deserve a shout-out for making it happen.

Plenty of parking and convenient entry points are available to get to your room more directly. +clean rooms +great hot breakfast options +friendly staff +ample parking

We got a call about 7 AM the next morning, starting they had our credit card and license, and apparently Belinda had this out so anyone could see. The only other time this happened to us, the check in attendant rang up hundreds of dollars of phone calls. This was really disturbing because Belinda had many opportunities to return them. The housekeepers woke us up afterwards banging on the door starting at 9 am and did it several more times, despite the Do Not Disturb Sign prominently displayed. The handle was broken on the fridge door and the bathtub and sink were damaged. Grandma said looked old and dreary, not well kept. When we told the manager, Orlando, about our problems at the hotel, he could have cared less. It's hard to imagine that he works in customer service, and tourism in particular. This is probably the worst hotel we ever stayed in, and we couldn't wait to get out.

Absolutely our favorite hotel on this cross country roadtrip!…read more The rooms are all like mini apartments with fully decked out kitchens, dishes, full size fridge, cooktop, microwave. It was SO convenient for a traveling family. The room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I appreciated seeing hand sanitizer dispensers in the elevators and by the breakfast space. No part of the hotel smelled like mold, which, in the eight hotels we've stayed in in the last two weeks, is a first time occurrence. Laundry room downstairs ($1 in quarters to run, which is half of what we had to spend at our last hotel) was right next to the pool, which meant we could run our laundry while we let the kids swim. The pool was a really great size with floor to ceiling windows for light, complimentary towels, and non-slip tile around the pool deck which you would think is a no brainer but this was the only hotel we've stayed in so far that had it. Downstairs they had 24/7 coffee, tea, and ice water available. We went by one night and they'd placed cookies out! There was a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire pit, market lights, and comfy seating. They also had board games out for use. The complimentary breakfast was awesome-- waffles, oatmeal bar, boiled eggs, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, juice. They also had coloring pages/crayons out for the kids that they changed out daily. Just adorable touches. There's also a little convenient store downstairs where you can buy jars of pasta sauce and pasta, frozen meals, etc. in case you need something to cook. The WiFi was pretty decent as well so I was able to get some work done. We appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff-- they were helpful with things to do in the area and with lighting the fire pit when we wanted to spend time with new vacation, friends outside.

Top-notched! I would give 10 stars if I can!…read more What a great, clean, hospitable place. JC The breakfast attendant went above and beyond what we expected to make our stay a more enjoyable one. Folks here are very friendly!!! I totally recommend this place If you're visiting for a couple days or even a week. The breakfast was more than continental breakfast. The breakfast burrito on Friday morning and the egg sandwich were very hearty and you can easily take it on the go. JC, the breakfast attendant is very attentive, helpful, very personable and social. He shared some of the touristy places to visit. He was prompt in refilling all the stations without having to ask for things. Stations were clean and food were well presented (robust). We've been to a lot of hotel breakfast but this place was , hands down, better than most. Front desk was prompt in any request. I do have to note that house keeping is upon request which is fine and I personally like that...my preference. Ben, the manager was able to reverse the double charge as we went through a 3rd party book. He even personally called us to follow up with the status of our charge. The only criticism I have as with most hotels are thin walls and heavy feet from tenants above. A definite place to stay and if travels finds me back to Billings, this will be home :)
