I asked if their camera was working and if I was able to take my passport photo. The lasy said, "yea" but I was not sure if she said yeah or nah. So I asked, "Was that a yes or a no?" Her responce with attitude still was, "YES it is working" That's why I knocked down one star. The guy who took my picture was really nice and within minutes it was all done. As soon as I handed it to the pharmacist, her first response was, "It's Monday. I'm very busy." She seemed visibly annoyed that I had brought in a paper prescription. She then said, "I have prescriptions to fill and I'm giving vaccines, so it's going to be at least 24 hours." When I asked if there was any chance it could be filled sooner because it was an emergency, she showed absolutely no empathy. She also said, "I have to call your veterinarian because the name on the prescription doesn't match the doctor who signed it." I transferred the prescription to the CVS inside Target on Hesperian Boulevard. They simply said, "No problem," accepted the same veterinary prescription without questioning it, and had it filled in about 30 minutes. The delay wasn't the problem. It was the lack of compassion, the rude attitude, and the completely different experience I had at another pharmacy with the exact same prescription.

After I reminded her again that I had called in, she suddenly "found" it and told me to come back in 2 hours and that I would receive a text message when it was ready. I never received the text message they promised. I returned on Friday, and once again they couldn't locate my prescription. After more searching, they finally found it -- but they also tried to give me someone else's order at the same time. I had to explain that I only had one prescription and asked them to verify it using my phone number, not just my last name. The entire experience was very unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. On top of that, the drive-thru wait was over 20 minutes. For something as important as prescriptions, accuracy and communication should be a priority. This pharmacy seriously needs to improve its customer service and organization.

It's between the I-880 freeway and Hesperian Blvd. I was there around 9pm to get gas, and go take a look inside the store. This is NOT a 24-hour store. The clerk said they close at midnight. Interesting that the 7-Eleven website says it's a 24/7 store. I was looking over the fresh snacks, and I asked the clerk how much the cake squares cost. He held up 6 fingers. Actually they cost $5.99. One of the 1/4 lb hotdogs looked okay, so i got a hotdog for $2.79. Now, even though the buns are individually wrapped, that doesn't mean they're fresh. The hotdogs are grade 1-2 on the edible scale. The mustard, relish and raw onions I added didn't help. Otherwise, it's a typical 7-Eleven layout.

I was there on June 16th, and got some gas and talked to the clerk inside the food mart. Since Excel doesn't accept Valero cards, I went inside to pay with my credit card. The clerk was very nice. I asked him if Excel is "top tier" gas, and he didn't know what top tier gas is. He just said his friend told him the Excel gas made his car go "vroom!" The prices were fairly low, so I pumped $50 worth of midgrade. My truck ran well the rest of the night. The food mart didn't have alot of stock. They still have fried chicken at the front counter. They also have coffee and an ATM. No beer. Overall, an OK 1st experience with the Excel brand. I'm sure the lower gas prices will draw in customers.
