I usually go to the back and grab a bunch of Four Loko's, (flavored malt beverages that have roughly 10-12% alcohol each) and head straight for the counter. Last time I checked they were just under $2 a piece. They also have Earthquakes, which are beers made by the same company (which also have a higher alcohol content). Their liquor prices are average, but some things are cheaper here. Of coarse all the other non alcoholic items here range from average price to the overpriced standard you would expect from a corner store. They stay open pretty late for their location. The guys who work here are nice and moderately knowledgeable and this is probably my second favorite liquor store in all of Hayward, (even if it is in the unincorporated section). CHAD

Like any liquor store in The Town you're just looking for a quick drink or snack. I'm from Oakland…read moreso I been to my fair share of liquor stores, never have I had a problem until I stopped at this one. I came in for 2 personal wines. Which I know for a fact are no more than $2.50 each! But me being a woman!! The owner (old guy) thought he could get over me. Then me being a dumbass and not paying attention. He charged me $10.00 for 2 personal wines. I didn't notice until I got back to the car. So I told my boyfriend & he then got irritated and made me go back and got off with me to get my $5 change back. We then go back & the guy tried to play dumb and act like he didn't overcharge me after he seen my man. I will never give this business another one of my $1's lol.

The cashier was helpful and I was in and out pretty quickly. They don't really speak English so no conversation needed. Honestly they're more so talking amongst themselves than paying attention to you. The place is small and kind of tight, stuffed with chips, cookies, wines and they have refrigerated beers, wines and juices along the far wall. Definitely a neighborhood type of store, the customers either kept to themselves or were friendly. One nodded at my picking the Smirnoff for the party. "Great choice!" He ribbed. It was.
