D'Antii - Bustle stayed bustled while I busted moves.

D'Antii

When I told her I wanted a slit, she pinned it conservatively so she wouldn't make it too high, then had me come back to try it out and we decided to make the slit go higher. She also educated me on the different bustle types and gave me great recommendations for everything. It was all done by the 3rd visit and the turn-around times were only days apart! The pricing was totally reasonable too. I was really nervous about finding someone I could trust with a very special task and I highly recommend. She's knowledgeable, talented, and sweet! (Pictures show after purchase, after alterations, and after the altar) ***I do have a suggestion however! After I checked the dress off my list, it stayed in the garment bag and I didn't look at it for a while until 2 weeks before the wedding and noticed it looked super dirty, so I was calling dry cleaners to see how fast they could clean a wedding dress and stressing out, but then I finally just used a lint roller...the dress had picked up a lot of fuzzies and some dog hair from being dragged on the floor, but it all came off! Just had a mini heart attack, so my suggestion is to lint roll the dress at the end :p

Diana can tailor a blazer in such a way that it transforms me from a 7 to a 9. My husband thinks Diana's work makes me look so good he tried to make me wear it to bed. lol I have only experienced great personal interactions there. That said, it's a one woman operation; therefore the ocassional customer is bound to get her feathers ruffled. That's part of working with the public. But the fact is, I would still go there if she slapped me every time I walked through the door. I'm telling you, she has mastered her craft.

Really needed a suit tailored. Looked everywhere for someone I trusted. Found Saeid at Sew N Fit…read more No longer on the hunt because I found exactly the man for the job. Saeid runs a busy shop, but is able to accommodate you if you're not asking for the universe. In my case, I needed one suit pants altered. Set me back about $75.00 - not the cheapest, but I'm willing to pay this for premium work. He had the pants completed in one week even though it would have normally taken him a little longer due to the volume of work. What I really appreciated about him was that he took the time to be human, and show interest in you. I specifically appreciated how he not only knew my name, but others who walked into his store. Great touch of customer service and shows me he has loyal customers for a reason - he's that good. After handling my pants, I was curious about some of the material in his shop. He took time to show me the low-end material vs high-end material - something I didn't realize. I now know which suit jacket lining is cheap, and which is expensive. Thanks for the education! He also explained that he can custom make suits for any occasion. I love suits too much, and I just might have to take him up on the offer in the future. All in all, great experience and happy to find Saeid. Will be using him in the future as long as I'm in SLC.

He's incredibly friendly, loves chatting about his work, and genuinely cares about getting your clothes just right. I've already decided: all my future alterations and fixes are going straight to him! This hidden downtown spot at 672 S 300 W has been quietly killing it for nearly two decades--loyal customers keep coming back for a reason. If you're in Salt Lake City and need quality work without the hassle or high prices, stop hesitating and head to Express Tailoring & Reweaving. You won't regret it!

There was a pad on the desk with pickup slips and I asked whether I would get a number but he said just tell him my phone number when I come back to pick it up. Looks like they do quite a business here since the front room is full of clothes ready to be picked up. Hopefully the alteration is worth the expense. Came here after reading good reviews.
