Central Hudson took off only one branch leaning on the lines but the rest of the tree was sick and needed to come down. They came in and not only took the tree down but they also ground the stump. You can't even tell where there used to be a tree. I am thoroughly amazed and I 100% recommend them. The owner, Rene, is super nice and professional. That's when I found Cherry Hill tree expert company. Mark the owner is highly experience and qualified for the job. Him and his team are fully insured and safety comes first. Mark was able to come out for qoute soon after a snowstorm . As soon as the snow was melted and the ground was dry he came right out and started earlier then expected with two trees. Then after a couple days of rain and the sun let up he was able to get the last two trees one day ahead of schedule before a lot more rain came later that week. After everything was said and done. Mark and his team had done everything we agreed on and some. I was going to do the cleanup and he made it easier by placing the branches neatly and organized leaving space to walk around. Mark and his team had gone above and beyond what was originally laid out. Their customer service was outstanding. They made our first time using tree services a good experience. He was thorough in his discussion and a good listener. I was very impressed with him. The price he quoted was fair, and I did feel confident that he could do the work efficiently, professionally, and within the time allocated to us. After a storm took down part of our big pine tree in our yard in mid-to-late June 2024, we were…read moredown on our luck in finding a tree or arborist service to cut and haul away our tree, and even when we requested a church group to find someone to help out, even found a lengthy time. We had called service after service and made numerous calls. However, the problem is now solved. The church group called this arborist and hauled it away yesterday - collecting payment only from the church group. After a negative experience on Monday being told that they spotted more trees than they were told and needed to talk to the volunteer group about, when they didn't appear on Tuesday either, we thought we were down on our luck again. But they suddenly appeared yesterday and brought in the wood chipper and big stick and wood carter (I don't know what the official name of this machine is known as). They took the mostly cut tree off our property and even cut the remainder of the tree down - leaving it as a stump, along with several larger branches that were stuck in the ground that they could have at least trimmed down for us. Meanwhile, one of their workers brought over their chainsaw to chip away at the stump, but when that person was told not to touch that - verbally - we knew an agreement between the church group and the arborist business had something to do with this. It took them about an hour (my mom said it took less) to take care of the problem, but I do still notice some bigger twig piles in the tree's place, and the stump was left completely intact. We weren't expecting them to take the remainder of the tree, and this tree was a "fixture" that associated that tree to tour residence. As for value and pricing, I couldn't say. The church group paid this location for the service, and no money left our hands (other groups wanted close to $1500); only the tree got recycled and removed - something that the Heavenly body couldn't help solve when they made this tree fall missing our house by inches (no more than a foot) (something that my mom and I differ on). They did a good job of what we saw them do, but I couldn't say much about how much that group got paid to do all that work, and if I had more, I could probably recommend their services if necessary.

AVOID unless you're okay with poor workmanship and zero accountability…read more I hired Eric for gravel driveway repairs after previously having a good experience with his snow plowing. Unfortunately, the quality of this job was subpar, and the gravel work washed out completely within weeks. I reached out to him multiple times for a resolution via text and voicemail with no response. When I finally heard back, he refused to take any responsibility and instead blamed me for the results--citing the weather (rain?!) and my budget (which I never actually gave him). In reality, I accepted both his estimate and his plan without question, paid in full immediately, and even offered to pay more if he would simply correct his work after it first began to fail - just two days after it was completed. This, despite the fact that I was promised the work would last several years. Eric does not stand behind his work, he makes false promises and ghosts clients when there's a problem, and then resorts to excuses and blaming the customer rather than offering solutions. Other contractors who reviewed the job confirmed that the grading and compaction were not done properly. A properly compacted and graded gravel driveway would not erode after a single rainstorm. One review mentions he's nice, and he is, when things go well. I'm nice too, but I don't tolerate being taken advantage of. If you decide to roll the dice on your project, don't be surprised when the 'nice guy' disappears. UPDATE: Eric responded by attempting to discredit me personally and deflect from the actual issue. So let me be clear: I paid in full the day after the work was completed (job finished 6/4, Zelle sent 6/5). I accepted both his estimate and his plan without negotiating and was told the work would last for years. When it failed after a single rainstorm, I offered to pay more if he would fix it. I never asked for extra work, I said I'd wait and see how it held up, and reached out again when it clearly didn't. He ignored multiple texts and voicemails for weeks and only responded after I posted this review. And yes, I have everything documented as well. As for his attempt to attack my review history: I welcome anyone to read my other reviews. They are detailed, honest, and thoughtful reflections of my experiences - positive or negative. This one is no different. Instead of standing behind his work, Eric deflects and attacks the customer. That says more than any review ever could.
