Highly recommend DBT! Was visiting family friends in the area and glad we stopped by here. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious! I had the chicken strips and French fries, I liked that they cooked them nice and crispy! Waitress was attentive and we really enjoyed the variety of food options here. Lots to do, music, activities, great beer selections. Would definitely recommend and would come back again if I'm back in the area.

    Wings

Went to grab a few beers and wings nothing wrong with the drinks, however wings were overpriced and not good at all sauce was mid and wings were dry also never gave me ranch with the wings which is criminal.

Decided to come here since I heard it was not a bad place. We sat towards the front of the place and the place had a few people there who were well into their evening of beers and whiskey. They were really loud but just having a good time. I got an IPA and she got a red wine. The drinks came out pretty fast considering there was only one waitress/bartender in the place besides the cook. She got the pulled pork hotdog with coleslaw and I got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings. She loved her coleslaw as it had kind of a sweet pickle flavor and she really liked her hotdog. The pulled pork was delicious too. My cheesesteak sandwich was just ok and the onion rings were not too bad. We had to ask for more water and it took few minutes for her to come get my credit card to pay. Overall it's not a bad place. I probably won't come back for dinner but will make it back for beers with my buddies.

The Bar and Tap List at Double Barrel Taphouse

3.5 stars ... rounded-up to 4 because ... beer. I like beer. I may not be as passionate about it as Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, but, yes senator, I really really like beer. What do you like to drink? They have it at Double Barrel Taphouse. In addition to a full bar, the 30 rotating taps offer beer drinkers the IPAs, ales, stouts, lagers, pilsners, and ciders you and I like. The local crowd was into the sports and MMA on the TVs while I focused on my beers. Double Barrel Taphouse seems to take a shotgun approach to serving everyone as a neighborhood pub, sports bar, restaurant, and tap room. Besides beer, I like food. I really really really like food, but I wasn't really impressed with the pub grub at Double Barrel. A Memphis Hot Dog with Bacon and BBQ sounded like meaty wow. It wasn't. A pile of Ragin Bull Nachos with Pastrami and Serrano Peppers sounded spicy and memorable. It wasn't. 'Tis ok, because ... beer.

We have come here to watch a couple games, most recently the Super Bowl. Great spot with plenty of TVs! They always have a great selection of local beers. The chicken wings we got for the big game were massive, we were so full from them. They weren't amazing taste-wise and wish they were crispier, but were definitely a good deal. This is our go-to for any major sporting event we want to catch from a local bar!

The room alone almost made it worth my time. The English pea risotto was very good, and the house fries were good. The French-oaked flight I requested was a sad effort. The bartender never asked what distillers I had as options other than indicating that Makers 46 must be what I'm after when I said French oaked and creamy was my vibe, to which I raised an eyebrow and indicated I was ok if he started with that in my flight as a base for comparison. Otherwise he never asked whether I'd like to spend good money on something special (I would have said yes) and later claimed these were the only French-oaked bottles they even had in stock despite a claimed inventory of over 2,000 whiskeys. What arrived: Penelope Architect--nothing at all on the nose, something like wood paneling on the palate. Angel's Envy Triple Oak--tasted just like the Angel's Envy Rum Cask I can get at the supermarket. Maker's 46--the best of those three, yet still quintessentially basic as a wheated French-staved bargain buy, which, by the way, I never indicated I was there for. When I diplomatically indicated my that my flight was totally blasé and asked for one last pour in hopes of redeeming the experience, he brought me a redundant Maker's Heart Series in which the heart was made of mildly chocolate-inspired disappointment. Staff clearly put effort into educating and serving, and the environment is special enough that I hope to return with friends for that alone, even though I was rushed out due to a scheduled reservation needing my unscheduled seat. Ultimately the pours left me with an extremely unimpressive result and a future 0-for-2 that I'd be willing to risk in hopes of their redemption. Exceptionally impressive venue, if totally unimpressive flight curation.

Where do mortals dare to enter, only to emerge forever changed by flavor, fire, and pure culinary sorcery? The answer slithers through the night like a neon riddle: Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey, the uncontested fortress of taste and triumph. Tell me, clever diners: What invention of meat, cheese, and unfathomable brilliance disappears faster than a clue in Gotham's fog? A Stack 571 burger, of course engineered with such wicked precision that each bite detonates like a flavor bomb. These aren't patties; they're puzzles, stacked high with juiciness, dripping with intent, and crafted so perfectly you'll question whether the chef struck a deal with a mad genius to pull it off. And what liquid wisdom pairs with such edible enigmas? Why, whiskey smoother than a villain's alibi. Every pour glides down with the elegance of a well-planned crime, whispering notes of oak, smoke, and sophistication. I chose the Saville Painkiller Cobbler which was very similar to Piña Colada with Ube. The drink was such a pretty purple shade, dusted with purple sweet potato/taro powder, and served in a Pineapple shaped glass - so aesthetically pleasing and very easy on the palate! My husband got the Pandan Old Fashioned which was very delicious as well - silky, sweet, boozy with a strong Pandan forward profile. For snacks, we got the Shrimp Chips and the Whipped Ricotta with Soppressata that comes with a generous portion of 4 slices of Rustic bread. The shrimp chips were humongous and so light, airy and crispy with a delicate shrimp flavor.
