Very good place to hang out and do a little bit of hookah. The guy was friendly, kind and informative. Wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night when I went. Dark fantasy flavor is pretty good. Not too strong. Not too weak. Cheers. Enjoy! read more

Absolutely loved this place. The glass hookahs looked fancy and the sitting area comfortable. They had good lighting inside making it look not dingy like some places. The hookah was on point with a yummy strong flavor. My friend and i got the berry splash and dejango combo and loved it. Hookahs were $25 and it lasted 2 hours. We got a refill for another $12 and that lasted couple hours too. Overall perfect for a nice relaxed evening and will be back. read more

My cousins and I had come to this place a few Saturdays ago around 12am. Three observations: -We had 2 people that weren't going to partake. Typically I've seen a $5/person charge on really busy and packed nights. In this scenario, the place was dead and the owner charges $10 per person here. -It was nice to be greeted and seated. -The hookah hit well. I wouldn't come back if you have non-smokers in the group. read more

Lovely place! Good service! Place to chill. Not bad food. Recommend to everyone who loves not fancy, but nice place read more

We came to Double Apple Hookah with my wife, cousins, and her husband, and had such a relaxing night. The green tea here is amazing--fresh, warm, and perfectly paired with the hookah. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, with good music that wasn't too loud so we could talk and enjoy the night. The manager, Jawed, took care of us really well and made sure we had everything we needed, checking in without hovering. We really appreciated his kindness and attention. We will definitely come back again for the green tea and a calm place to unwind with family. read more

ZERO STARS !! looks are deceiving from this place and their other location. never recommending people to come here & if i ever talk about this place to people it'll be to steer them away from here ! its always filthy, & disgusting, every table is filled with trash and food from the previous customer they never clean unless theyre about to close. every time ive been here they ask you to leave 10 mins to closing but its always to the customers who aren't indian or middle eastern . the same thing happened at their other location, filthy enviorment, asking customers out of their race to leave and they'll stand in-front of you until you hand them the hookah lol 10-15 mins BEFORE closing its so weird. nobody comes to spend their money to enjoy for them to be treated indifferent. go somewhere else and spend your money somewhere you will actually enjoy your time. they also lie and say you cant bring alcohol but they got people in there bringing hella bottles, drunk af lol shady weird business it gives sketchy under the table. dont come here. read more

I'm not really a hookah girl but I decided to come here with my friend. I found this place on yelp glad I did. I stopped by on a Thursday at 10, it wasnt packed. We walked in and were immediately helped. You order and pay. We ordered double apple (good) and a ginger tea (good). The hookah we ordered was so cool it had a colored lazer. I never seen before. They play good music hip hop, rap, afro etc. The people here are very nice. They said they are packed weekends and open til 3. I recommend coming here. read more

It's a vibe! If you're looking for a place to chill before a night out on Saturday, it's a nice place up be. Music choice here is alright, drinks are usually overpriced but it's almost very common to everywhere else. The guy at the counter is chill, price on the higher end but it's not too bad ($15ish per person with a drink read more

Good environment highly recommend it very good service and nice customer service very nice and friendly anyone can come

Chill place. Really friendly staff. The only issue may be parking, depends on the day of the week. read more

While the place served good hookah it's very much mismanaged. The opening time is 5 pm but if you arrive by 5:10 pm the staff lets you walk in to sit but they are actually moping and dusting the place, cleaning the hookahs. I should rather say a single person is doing all these activities. Hence the service actually does not start until 6 pm. So just be aware of the time, if it says it opens at 5, don't go before 6 pm. From the looks of it, it seemed like the only staff also came in at 5 pm and they had left the store like a wreck the last night. Not a single hookah was cleaned to serve. Moreover the staff is so unfriendly that they want to clean all hookahs at once (one by one) I think they should instead take orders in such scenario and clean 4-5 hookahs first so at least they can cater to the customers they let sit in the venue. read more

I was kind of hesitant to try this Hookah bar at first, as it's not in the greatest part of town, but once I decided to come here, I actually ended up liking it better than others in the area. Their flavor selection is always top notch and their prices are fair for what you receive. They can get busy depending on what day you come, but it is always a good idea to come earlier rather than later in the evening and pay in cash, as price increases can occur with card payments. read more

Dope spot , came to visit from New York. Googled a hookah spot around me and few spots came up . Decided to check this out as in the pictures they had Shishabucks hookahs. We drove down , it was worth a 30 minute trip. Service was great and hookahs were amazing. read more

This hookah lounge is tucked in a quiet parking lot. I love coming here cause it's so chill! The hookah always hits! Super smooth! The music is always good too, mostly hip hop and music videos and sometimes sports games playing on the tv! The employees are always super kind as well! read more

My boyfriend and I came here around 7:30pm on a weekend and we loved it! Coming at that time was perfect since there were many seats available. It was our first time at a hookah lounge and this place made us memorable. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly! Definitely coming back here when we're in town! read more

Place used to be really good but as of lately the service has been pretty bad. They move you around constantly and majority of the seats are reserved and left empty. It seems like they changed the workers and the new guys aren't making the hookah good. My hookah came out completely burnt, as did my friends, and my coal tray was leaking syrup from the tobacco under the head. Anyone who knows how to make hookah knows syrup leaking means it's a pretty sloppy job. When I asked for a new head after only having the hookah for 5-10 minutes the worker laughed and said I'd get charged for a refill even though my hookah was burnt and leaking syrup since I got it. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's been great in the past. Don't see myself coming back after this experience despite being a long term customer/fan of this place. read more

Awesome place.. ambiance was good and feels safe for late night girls party. The owner was really friendly and service was awesome.

Great hookah place with excellent service from the staff. A lot of flavors to choose from. Excellent place to relax and chill with friend.

I'm giving this place a 5 Star ALL because of Ram His a good soul person, honestly I don't know how he does it when this place gets busy at times, his helpful.this place is sucha good vibe the hookah is not the best some flavors doesn't taste as good and flavor full . Some are really good, maybe adding more new flavors will help.but my husband and I come back because of rams customer service. read more

The first thing I have to comment about are the couches, and let me tell you, they are quite comfortable! My friend and I decided to try this place out since it's nearby and we were surprisingly impressed. The plaza it's in is kinda small and a bit sketch, but it works out (atleast during nightime). We shared a "Summer Solstice" flavor which wasn't bad at all! The people are also quite friendly. Both customers and some employees were so friendly to both of us and were easy to talk to. The price isn't half bad either since our bowl lasted pretty long. Overall; for the price, it's pretty good. The tea is tasty too read more

This lounge is my go to lounge every day. I consider myself to be a hookah fanatic and I have been to almost every lounge in the whole Bay Area and no one does it the way they do. My favorite hookah place in San Jose. Great service, clean place, very nice staff. Specially Ali

Wanted to try a new hookah place in the area and we decided to come here based on the reviews. And I'm glad we did! It's fairly priced .. They had our favorite Snapple - peach ice tea. They recommended a flavor to us which I can't remember for the life of me but it was great. Customer service was awesome ! They came back to fix our coals and to make sure we liked the flavor. There was plenty of parking outside. The sofas were comfortable .. They have outlets to charge your phones & laptops. I can definitely see myself coming back here again. read more

My friends and I decided to come here last night and the service was alright. They need to work on charcoal. Seems like they don't care much for changing people's charcoal unless you ask for it or if they notice your charcoal is pebble sized. Hookah was decent. Improved a little bit. Which was good. read more

This place is great with great staff and overall vibe. Ali is super friendly and offer up points if paid through cash. I love that they have wifi as I come in to switch up my setting and get some work done. The flavors are great here and the best part is I've never had an issues with the coals being to hot giving a burnt taste or being harsh on my throat. Definitely recommend this place to relax with some friends or zone out in your own thoughts read more

I just got home from my first time at Double Apples and it was wonderful. Ali prepared some delicious mixes that I've never tried before and I loved them both. Okay, Let's start with the service, their service is really good. The servers are very nice people, with polite attitudes. I will give it an A+. The atmosphere is amazing, you never get bored including the wide variety of music that really sets the mood right. Their hookah is very authentic . Other hookah lounges fill the heads so that it burns fast and are not really clean, so you won't really taste the flavor you asked for, but at Double Apples Hookah you would never experience this, not at all.
