From the initial personalized…read morecontact to the finish of the job, everybody concerned was very professional, highly skilled, knowledgeable, courteous, polite, hard-working, and clearly dedicated to doing the best job they could. They even laid down a tarp to collect debris and ran a nail magnet over the entire area to be sure there were no sharp surprises to be found later on. After texting him numerous times, he'd always respond with an excuse as to why he didn't or couldn't make it. Communication is horrible!! We are VERY disappointed in how things ended. We contracted J&M Commercial Painting to complete extensive interior and exterior repairs and…read morepainting, to help us prepare our home for sale. This work required a significant amount of painstaking detail work, which required skilled, meticulous painters. In all areas, the work far exceeded my expectations. I have worked extensively with contractors in Southeast Ohio over the past 10 years, and have generally had terrible experiences. They are largely unprofessional, they don't finish the job on time (or they don't finish it at all), they aren't conscientious, they don't communicate with you, they often try to overcharge and in general they have left me with a bad impression of contractors. Mike and Camilla Butcher showed me that there are still contactors out there who are professional, honest, conscientious and truly care about getting the job done right. Mike promptly offered a reasonably-priced bid, had a crew out within days, checked in with me everyday to make sure I was OK with the work that was being done, and promptly resolved any issues that I identified. His foreman, John, and his crew were courteous, hard working and highly skilled. They showed up on time and got the job done right the first time. As a former business owner and a current business professor, I have a pretty good grasp of what professionalism looks like, and J&M epitomizes it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work and the experience I had dealing with this company. If you want the job done right...no hassles...no typical contractor B.S., call Mike and Camilla. They made our home look better than it did when it was new, and they treated us right in the process.
